To answer your question as a songwriter, you really don't know when a good melody or lyric will hit you. So I just record the melodies and sound effects in my voice memos, and for the lyrics, I keep them in my notes. I have sections for my fav rhymes and single lines/phrases that I haven't used yet (in songs), and half-finished songs everywhere (literally). Love this process so much!
Absolutely post the whole version of these songs!!!! I've seen all of the other videos and there's not even one song that I didn't like. I would love to listen to them in full and also play them, they sound so good acoustically ❤️❤️ you're very talented!!!

watching in 2024. I usually write my own songs when I don't have anything else to do or when I am feel down or depressed about something. I usually find it hard to write a song if the song is set to have a happy mood/tone because its harder to write than a sad song because sadness is powerful when it comes to write strong emotional lyrics. And every time I try to come up with a happy song they usually have a hint of sadness in them.
English is my second language ,so it's really challenging for me to write a song,but I do :) There the times that I usually write : 1.Whenever I pick up my guitar 2.When I want to study 😂 3.When I hate/love sb I write a song for him/her and just sing it for him/her and according to the fact that most of the people around me don't understand English, so I just keep writing and singing for myself 😂
I really wished that I had kept songs that I wrote in high school. I started writing songs again in quarantine and so Far I’ve written 56 songs. Some are ehhh but most a pretty decent. I wish I was brave to sing my songs like how you are!

i mostly write poems and songs too sometimes...i think with me, it just happens anytime, while i am sitting in broad daylight or even at 3 am...mostly i write to calm my anxiety and overthinking, but it also becomes fun when you are trying to find new fancy words and rhymes and structures for your thoughts and feelings....mostly i have written dark things, which comes not as a surprise for me...lol love your channel!

I write when an idea comes to my mind and it often comes when I sit for studying LOL;) or when I decide that this felling is too much for me so why bother myself to fell all of it alone write it down in a song. luv u Nena.😘🎶

Hey Nena, I write songs too and I use to write them only at night but as I grew older and started writing more and more, inspiration happens anytime, day, night, even school, my science teacher actually found my songs in my notebook today at school, lol
I write songs like all of the time. Not usually at night, but I come up with an idea every once in a while and just sleep-write until I go back to bed. But usually, I'm just doing random things and then I come up with a great lyric every once in a while and kind of center the song around that. But sometimes I just sit down with my guitar and write whatever comes to mind.
And about the songs, right now with online classes I spend the most of the time writing 🤭 while I’m in class(except in maths, and I have good grades don’t worry hahah) but right now that I’m in vacations I literally spend my whole day writing songs 🙃, and sometimes it’s 2 am and I’m still writing haha. That’s one of the reasons of why I don’t want to come back to face to face classes because I’m sure my songwriting routine would change.
