I love how this show represents everything. They/them pronouns, non-binary/genderfluid, bi/gay/les couples, even headcanons of poly couples. And they were all represented right!
Rogelio's speech gets me every time. Its just so...awe-inspiring! Like, words can't describe how I felt while listening to him, but growls and lizard speak sure can *proceeds to sound like an idiot mimicking Rogelio's beautiful growls*

I personally don’t like Lonnie x Repkyle because Lonnie is just *so* mean to Kyle. I know that that’s like the joke of the show but sometimes it’s really harsh and idk why Rogelio would want to be with someone that’s so mean to his bf, even if he is a bit of a ditz

(I know Rogelio kinda joins in on the teasing but he’s not nearly as aggressive and literally all the time he protects Kyle so it feels more forgivable)
The poly relationship with Lonnie is just Noelle's headcanon, it's not canon in the show. Kyle and Rogelio are canon tho.
I'd want to support it, but she just hasn't had the moments with the other two that Repkyle have.
I like to think there is a whole other story where she starts to realize feelings only after she sees them together.
Meanwhile Catra works on her body image issues and Adora works on some MUCH needed empathy training.

I don’t get the vibe that Lonnie is part of the couple. I also do t think every character needs to be paired up whether it’s a gay straight or poly relationship. I can see Kyle and Rogelio being a couple with how they care for each other but to me Lonnie is their friend and squad mate and that’s it

@@eyelessbun5785 well when a creator says something like this people tend to believe it, after all that person is the god of that universe the one who understands the characters and their designs and mechanisations. Take for instance j.k Rowling and saying that dumbledore is gay the amount of people who were like yeah sure that’s acceptable we’ll go with that your the author why would you LIE to us? I’m a writer myself so if someone said oh I have a theory about these two characters and it was totally off the mark I would want to clear that up, sure people can believe what they want to believe but the writers word is TECHNICALLY law they control what happens canonically. While it might just be a head canon the fact that noelle believes it leads others to see if it’s true but the evidence isn’t there to support a throuple hence the big thing of while it’s a head canon it’s not believable

I think I heard somewhere that in the first season, it was something the animators decided to hint at as much as they could without telling any of the writing staff, so they just dropped it in, but then when they finally said something the writers were all for it
Kyle was always one of my favorite characters. He may have been a sort of minor character, but he got bullied and was always the scapegoat- but I can’t help but love Kyle

As much as I love the thought of Kyle and Rogelio having a loving, caring relationship despite (and because of) their trauma with the horde, I really don’t see how Lonnie could be good with Kyle. She’s so mean, and honestly Rogelio is not much better. He’s kind of an enabler for everyone being mean to Kyle, and never sticks up for him. Not to mention the obvious communication problem, they literally can’t speak the same language. I do love the thought of them being together though, I just wish it was in the actual dialogue and not in the background...

If Kyle x Lonnie x Rogelio is official then that's a pretty messed up, toxic relationship, since Lonnie is so dismissive and mean to Kyle (not as much as Catra, but still) and Rogelio just lets Kyle take the brunt of everyone's anger/annoyance and take all the blame when missions go wrong.
Kyle deserves at least one partner who actually acknowledges him and treats him right, not two partners who treat him like shit
They seem to try to be kind at least Rogelio, but you are right it seems that the relationship is a little or kinda toxic.
Because, I understood the Rogelio and Kyle being together a thing because of little things in the show, but I just saw Lonnie as that tag along friend who thinks there just a 3 people friend group.
I see it that way because of how Lonnie treats them both, and Rogelio doesn't treat Kyle as badly as Lonnie but it is the fact that they or Lonnie mainly keeps picking on Kyle which bugs my on the three being together
But the creator said Lonnie, Kyle and Rogelio were a HEAD CANON which means thats what she views in her head I think, but I think Rogelio and Kyle are CANON.

@@user-ih3hw8bj5e Head canon esentially means just an idea that you personally apply to the show, despite it not actually being there. Plenty of creators have their own headcanons for their stories but don't actually write them into the show, but most creators avoid stating them as people can very easily misinterpret it as Word of God
