Hi Janet, firstly your hair is amazing! I love following your videos. Thank you for doing this video about the Tymo. I've been using an old straightener and feel it wasn't really doing my hair any good. But the Tymo looks like it really works. Think I'll treat myself for Christmas! :)
Just straightened my hair with the tymo hot comb today. I got the same results. The blowout kind of look. Then I went back in and curled my ends with a regular flat iron. It cut down the amount of time in usually takes me to straighten my hair with a regular flat iron. It took me a little under 2 hrs. I regular flat iron along with the chase method takes about 4hrs. I love the volume that it leaves me with. Love the kinky straight look. Flat head glued to face straight look is not for me.

Did you work out while your hair was straightened? Im trying to find the best way to preserve a silk press without compromising my workouts!! This is the only thing keeping me from actually moving forward with it. I've seen dry shampoo, blow drying roots...what do you suggest?

@FineNaturalHairandFaith if you blow dry, have you tried allowing your hair to additionally dry overnight? I find that my hair will be dry to the touch but still hold moisture in the core. Giving it that additional dry time has really helped me. Using Dream Coat Supernatural Spray by Color Wow when I blow dry has also helped a lot. If you try the Dream Coat, be sure to use a warm/hot dryer as it's heat activated.
