If you are doing a mix of big open western hunting and other types of hunts, whitetail in flatter country, etc... get the 12's. The lowlight performance is much better than the 16s or 20s. If you are only in big country get the 16s.
As an elk hunter recently turned elk guide here in northern bc I have to say that this is by far the best hunting channel on RUclips . so many great lessons . Thanks for sharing
I agree, for experience hunters, your one of the few guys that can teach us old dogs a few new tricks! Thanks, (just need more elk, and less wolves/Californians in Oregon)!
Quick question - Am trying to divest myself of excess/unused outdoor gear in my shop. Typically, I’ve taken things to Goodwill, but wondering if you have any ideas for perhaps a better recipient? Hoping to get some of this gear into the hands of people who might have a need, but maybe not the means. Tent, cookware, sleep pads, clothes, etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
I usually enjoy your videos but this one is a little too much of a sponsored inframercial. I get it, you got to have sponsors to keep the chanel profitable. Otherwise, I do appreciate all the knowledge your hunting vidoes impart. Edit: I stand corrected. Thanks for the response cliff. Cliff is the real deal. Here to help hunters, and not with the intent to get rich.
The only company/product mentioned that has paid me is Groove Life - as I mentioned in the video and in the way I mentioned. None of the other companies have paid me anything. The only compensation I make from a video like this is from the Amazon affiliate links for products available there.
Not trying to throw hate your way, but I feel obligated to keep the air clear on this stuff. Up until this point, I have turned down thousands in order to maneuver the whole sponsorship world in away that doesn’t take away from the content.
Loving that Born Outdoor Badger Bed! I prefer a bedroll because it’s not a mummy bag!! How is it to sleep in as a side sleeper? Looking forward to your video on it. Keep up the good work 👍
Great information as always Cliff. Thanks for your willingness to share knowledge. Us hunters and fisherman need unity as we are under constant attack from those who oppose. You are a great spokesman and advocate to us all. Keep em comin'.
I hope my wife watches this video.
bwhahaha!
I wish my wife was rich
Can you do a clothing system video? Maybe based on season.
Some excellent gift ideas right here for sure Cliff!
Congrats on all of the recent growth on your channel by the way... well deserved man 👍
I appreciate you, your experience, your willingness to share and your real world tips. Thanks!
Of course! I hope they are useful to you 👍
What magnification do you suggest for the Zulu 6?
I had the same question, 16x or 20x?

I have had GREAT luck with CANON image Stabilizing binoculars, they are only a couple hundred bucks.
Does the magnet in the Groove belt mess with the compass functionality of onX like my bino harness did? Thanks for the video.

Cliff, thanks for clearing that up. I’ll leave my comment up, since your response clears up my incorrect assumption. Thanks
