Hey Dora, I don't know bout everyone else but I personally enjoy seeing the struggle... I think that's why certain games like rust are so popular amongst streamers and why Simon is so beloved in the community...
Simon is a badass that's why we love him, revenge is sweet, he will never forget the ill-fated "hit spacebar, Simon" watching our boy grow has been priceless
The expression that you were referring to Neebs is "Saved by the Bell" it is believed that they would put a string in the coffin that was attached to a bell so if the corpse wasn't a corpse and woke up they could pull the string, ring the bell, and the undertaker would dig them. Dead Ringer I think came from horse racing and have an identical horse race in your horses place as a ringer
Does make me very curious as to how Simon is... Simon on almost all the other games they play with Neebs still being reasonably capable most of the time.
@@briang3598Simons panics easily and usually doesn’t pay much attention to the games he plays (he’s on his phone more often than he plays) he’s not as incapable as people make him out to be he just simply doesn’t care as much as the others
At 33:35 time stamp you can see a small enemy sneak past Neebs. Hiding behind the big guy. I had to go back to see where one got past. 😆 Amazing game and channel!
Neebs is the King of similes and metaphors and it's one of my favorite joke styles on the channel. He's like if a stand up comedian didn't quite make it big so now they give tours at the local city center and they are everyone's favorite guide.
I like that Anthony was the closest to being right about the origin of "dead ringer" and y'all gaslit him into thinking your completely apocryphal explanation was correct. 😄👌
One of my fav game series. Been playing since it came out. Def one of the best coop games. If you complete the 3rd game well worth going back and playing the 2nd.
Simon was by far the most strategically and tactically rational in this video. Makes me wonder how often he understands games better than the others, but keeps his mouth shut, because he always gets made fun of for being the 'worst' gamer in the crew 😂
Awesome stuff. If you guys do more of this it'd be great to either see both players start at the same level or not having Neebs (or whoever) skip levels... that way he can unlock cool traps too.
This is really giving me flash backs to playing Toy Soldirs on the Xbox 360. Similar mechanic of being able to join the fight while defending your base.
Anthony is right, Dead Ringer referring to horseshoe's game where you got the horseshoe around the pole on the first try creating a ringing noise as it spins.
Heads up, guys. There's a dude running a Doraleous and Associates supercut named "Freedom is not free" and he's claiming everything goes to Neebs Gaming. It seems super sus. Just thought y'all would like to know.
This video made me buy the game... After playing it I realized how awesome the barricades are. On lvl 12 you could force the separate waves up one stairs case and load all traps there
Tips as a OMD fan. Hit B to set up your hotbar before wave 1 and upgrade like crazy. Barricades are great for making bottlenecks, blocking for your archers/turrets, and for forcing the paths to where you want them. Don't forget your secondary on your main weapon. Arrow traps are best set up for shooting into the wave rather than the side. Use the tar more to help clump enemies for other traps and for slowing them down for you to line up shots. Also, the magma dropper when it levels up drops coins when it kills so combo it with tar and make that money.
Simon… I want to apologize. When I first started watching this channel many years ago, if someone had asked me which member of the crew was the most intelligent… I would not have chosen you. But after this video, I want to say “ I’m sorry”. You sir are definitely the brains of the operation. I felt your pain the entire time. Loving the Dumpster channel!
I'm really enjoying this video! The content is chill and fun to watch, and the creators have great attitudes. It feels like old-school Neebs, if that makes sense. Like when I started watching seven years ago. I was even able to watch it with my 6-year-old, since the language is relatively tame. She really wants to try this game now!
This is great! I played a lot of tower defense games in highschool so this brings me back! Great video guys! I would love to see another video in the future in the mix! And Simon, love ya baby!
I'm very addicted to this game. The slapper is great, once you level it up to provide stun. Stun is key. That and slows. When there are multiple points of entry, I try to funnel them into one line for a kill box. Once y'all get familiar with the dynamics, go to endless. Good way to earn levels for your traps.
I have a few 1000 hours playing this, even made it to the top of leaderboards :) Enjoyed watching you guys trying to work things out. Tar infront of traps is good, upgrade flipper to flip heavies. Use barricades.
Tar + Fire = awesome DOT for ogres. Tar + traps (spikes) slow down rats so the traps behind get a chance to damage the rats. The rats speed might allow them to trigger traps but may run over it before it fires. Tar are very good. Best traps for light and mediums are the ones that puts them in "the lava".
You guys might have fun with Dungeon Defender. Each player has a different class which has different traps. So teamwork is more important part of strategy
The term Dead Ringer comes from American Horse Racing in the 19th century. The term was used to refer to a horse that was racing under a false name and pedigree. The term Graveyard shift comes from when people who job it was to sit in graveyard and listen for the bells .
33:32 into the the oger he killed fell on top of a rat and you couldn't see him that's the one that got through replay in slow motion and you see the rat under oger 😅 I have good eyes when Dora says something I rewinded back and yes you let one through neebs
Couple of things, 1. So I just had to point out that you are playing on what is basically easy mode, no biggy but that's why it was so easy at the start. 2. It's a tower defence game, you need to use barricades to funnel the enemy. Especially on Mages Tower, you can funnel them up 1 staircase and focus all your traps on that. Just be careful as when the boss comes it will run over the barricades so be ready to hunt it down. 3. Use trickets, especially the trap one. It's available early so 1 of you should be able to equip it.
i'm with simon o0n this one. stacking all your traps on top of each other means they'll all trigger at once. so the first guy that gets to them will be excessively slaughtered while the 30 behind him will just walk through undamaged by the time it takes all the traps to cool down. staggering them makes MUCH more sense. i've never played orcs must die, but i used to play tecmos and kageros deception quite alot. those entire games are based on trap kills since you literally have no attack to defend yourself with. the way to get maximum damage was to string traps together.
There are some things you guys should be aware of when playing this game. 1) Each level has a timer. If you want to obtain all 5 skulls for each level, you will not only have to survive without losing a single rift point but you will also have to beat the level before the timer runs out. By default, the timer is invisible. To display the timer go to settings>Gameplay>show par time. 2) Each character has a special ability that can be activated by double pressing the space bar. 3) The weapon you have in slot one is locked in place until you beat the main campaign. After that you can freely change it. 4) Certain traps work well when paired together. For example, the tar trap has an upgrade that makes orcs take extra fire damage. Place this next to an arrow wall with the fire upgrade and you will get some good results. In my opinion the main campaign was easy. If you want a challenge, try playing drastic steps or the 2 dlc campaigns. There is also rift lord difficulty. To unlock these, you will need to beat the main campaign.
Hint for ya, Neeps, use tar in front of the arrow walls so slows them down and they take maximum damage from the arrows, otherwise they run through and only get 1/2 if any of the arrows, especially those quick little rats. They get stuck in the tar and the arrows will kill them 90% of the time (provided it's not on cool down). Y'all don't use nearly enough tar, it's one of your best friends, IMO.
It was Neebs who let one kobold runner through! The kobold ran past him through the body of a just slain ogre that obscured him a bit which made Neebs miss him, timestamp 33:35.
I thought dead ringer was from playing horse shoes. When you hit a perfect ring on the stick it's a dead ringer. And Anthony is definitely correct on how to use the phrase
Is Dead Ringer, a thing from rhe game of horseshoes?! Like when the horseshoe is thrown so well ot hits the pole so well it stops dead, around the pole with any wobble or swinging around, pretty much guaranteeing that it's on there?!
Watching them play for an hour and a half and not once hitting to choose defenses for neebs dispite the giant golden prompt drove me insane...also, the lift trap works from high places its pretty hilarious just fyi.
Anthony isn’t far off with dead ringer. The term originated in horse racing when people would race horses with better pedigrees in place of worse ones so they would win easily. They needed the horse to look exactly the same as the one it was replacing, so it needed to be a “Dead Ringer” or exact lookalike
Wanna see more of this?
Yes please
I love everything you guys do but i do wanna see more elden ring
This is like watching someone have their first sip of Coke +XP.
No thanks
Yes please

One day Doraleous will learn to use his words and finish a sentence.
nah! 😂
I don't think...yeah
The expression that you were referring to Neebs is "Saved by the Bell" it is believed that they would put a string in the coffin that was attached to a bell so if the corpse wasn't a corpse and woke up they could pull the string, ring the bell, and the undertaker would dig them. Ringer is hose substituted for another, usually 95% match. Dead Ringer is 100% match.
"Neebs not paying attention to the information in his screen" remains undefeated. Love it.
Damn, even Simon was getting frustrated with Neebs' stupidity on this lol
Does make me very curious as to how Simon is... Simon on almost all the other games they play with Neebs still being reasonably capable most of the time.

I wonder how Neebs will react when he finds out 7Days is a tower defense lol
@freespeechordie2252it is a base defense but the robots are like tower damage against the horde.
This genuinely made me giggle.
It’s a survival game with tower defense aspects there’s a difference
"That happens with age..." quick, Neebs, really quick! LOL
At 33:35 time stamp you can see a small enemy sneak past Neebs. Hiding behind the big guy. I had to go back to see where one got past. 😆 Amazing game and channel!
Thank you I was looking hard for if one slipped by and it's just barely visible
Indeed, he was sneaky hiding under the dead orc like that!
Came to comment section to see if someone had figured it out lol thank you for that fine work
glad people at least saw your comment since they missed mine.
Loving all this extra content, happy you made this channel.
Neebs is the King of similes and metaphors and it's one of my favorite joke styles on the channel. He's like if a stand up comedian didn't quite make it big so now they give tours at the local city center and they are everyone's favorite guide.
all 4 styles complement each other i it's why this is the best channel. the thick easter eggs in battlefield and 7 Days are epic
This game is so much fun, especially in coop
it is
I'll watch more of this in the dumpster if you guys want to play it.
I like that Anthony was the closest to being right about the origin of "dead ringer" and y'all gaslit him into thinking your completely apocryphal explanation was correct. 😄👌
I’m so glad someone else knew this. I love these guys, but sometimes they are so confident in their incredibly dumb beliefs 😂

Yes more of this game, only if Simon can be the back seat gamer!!!
You could have kept going Dora... Thanks for the new content.. and your continued dedication to NEEBS Gaming.. of which i feel i'm a part of.
"Let them come" also in Beauty and the Beast when the villagers invade the castle
I loved orcs must die back in the day. Played so much I was in the top 3 on the leaderboards. Good games imo

Ohhh, how nostalgic! I played this game after i bought my first pc back in 2011.
I'm glad watching you enjoyed this game
Quote of the week..
Neebs, "Do you not see my blue balls bouncing around over there?".
Followed closely by Simon's "I need this shit to get hard, right now!"
49:47 Neebs likened himself to a child without a moments hesitation =D
Yes i want more of this
Whatching these guys place the dumbest traps in the most ridiculous places had me yelling at the screen. When did everyone turn into Simon?
They've always been Simons, but Simon is the most Simon of them all.
@@FlintBeastgood We're all Simon. And that had BETTER be a t-shirt.

Thank you guys !! Love this
I picked it up for my bro and me and having a blast with it
Cheers 🍻
Dead ringer also means a doppelganger or twin..example..my friend is a dead ringer for Matt Damon
id watch more of this would be fun to see :)
I wonder where the terms bottleneck, chokepoint, and killzone come from. Hint hint, nudge nudge, wink wink.
That was hilarious watching them get launched off the bridge - on the mini-map. That sends them into Space Mammoth territory!
Love this stuff. The cover art put me off years ago. I now have this in my library.
Gotta do more of this and simon definitely needs to be hands on with the game ❤
neat series OMD !!
Dora suddenly busting out Space Element pretty much floored me. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
The best part was watching the red dots fly off the mini map when the spring board launched them lol
This reminds me of Iron Brigade/Trenched god I wish people still played that game

Loving the Dumpster 😊 longer videos are my jam..
Anyone else want to point out that the tar will give the trap a chance to reset on the second one. Neebs was right they just played bad
Really fun watch!
This was AWESOME! I can't wait to see more and I'm going to buy the game. I had no idea it existed! Thanks for putting it on the Dumpster! 😄
My fav bit with the crew is that they play so cassualy and buddy like. "Swearing and yelling included"
I can't believe Neebs hasn't leveled up yet after all this.
I would still be playing...lol..
By chance do you mean ... PROMOTED!!!!?

Neebs sounds like Ellis from Left 4 Dead, not just the accent but the actual voice too-
33:33 Here Neebs doesn't notice the lil f**ker sneaking past him. I wouldn't blame him cuz the ogre's dead body covered it.
