JOrchestration How can anypony NOT be a fan of their own work!? :D. I imagine if I were to ever be apart of the team, I would still be freaking out about the work you all would be producing xD. "I'm on the team? No... it's THESE ponies over here who are producing the fantastic stuff!" I'm not like Rainbow Dash... that's why all of these ponies are 20% cooler than me (;, which makes that an unbelievable 120%! ;D
So this is a remix of a song made for a game based on a fanfiction that was inspired by a children's cartoon and another game. It doesn't get much more derivative that this.
What about a cover of a remix of a cover of a song for a game thats inspires my a childrens show and a game thats a derivative of the 80s if they got nuked, thats quite derivative
madmag101 You mean like how Pinkie's Brew was a parody song for a parody show, then translated into Russian, then translated back into English, and then remixed yet again after that? Yeah, we can definitely go deeper if we try hard! (We just need to try hard.)
I know there are a lot of comments already about this but... A fandom for a show about horses made a version of a game into a fanfic in the show’s world. There is now a fan game, based on that fanfic, in development. Finally, there is a remix of a song from the game... Can we keep going? ... I want to see what else we can do. I mean... we got this far right?
Maybe there is an audible difference between autotuning out pitch errors and autotuning something which was in tune to start with. No clue, just an idea. I will google this later.
The original sounds like something that will be great in the game. One of those songs that will fit both in exploration and gunfights. This is the version I'll be blasting from my car for the next six months before changing the song.
The Fallout series writing hasn't really touched me like FoE has. I feel New Vegas is on par with it but 4 and 3 can't even compare. Fallout Equestria actually made me sad, FoE made me think. Fallout 4 made me feel like a tool, not a person. Pip is her own pony, with different logic and reason. The Sole Survivor doesn't speak to me as much (maybe because he has only four things to say that pretty much do the same thing,) as a fully fleshed out character who we've seen suffer and thrive, laugh and cry.
I have to concur, once of course, I get a better PC, currently, Office all in one Lenovo, as you can imagine, its s**t for gaming, barely can play a game that requires 4 G's of ram, insane right? Its pathetic. But really, I hope they add the gun customization from 4, add the story from FoE, but allow many different paths, and not just a SET story. Cut scenes like a COD game would be impressive, if you wanted to do the original story, but still allow them to occur if you met certain circumstances. So that you aren't restricted to having the EXACT same weapons that pip and all them had. It also would be amazing if the creators of the FoE game added a few new weapons that aren't generic to most fallout games. Lever actions, sure, AMR's? Sure, but what about other choices Like a radiation beam gun? Dear god I can only imagine what the community is going to do to THAT game once it comes out. Imagine being able to play as a Pegasus, or earth pony with custom looks and gender for an entirely different story. You have to agree, that would be insane. But anyways, yeah, hopefully the game will be badass, even though I'm sure it is fairly close to coming out now ( I don't have a damn clue ) so yeah, 'ave a good one!
MY FREAKING GAWDS. THIS VOICE COMBO IS KILLER. im already a sucker for Nowacking (and RAPPING? OH MY GOODNESS THAT RULED. I SO WANT MORE OF THAT) but Brittany has one heck of a voice and i like each song ive heard with her thus far. just... WOW.
I still can't get over how good this and the original version are; I put them both on the custom radio station in GTA V. Its odd having Trevor or Franklin driving around listening to this. The original seems like something Michael would listen to, though.
Man, dude, you guys, this is amazing. I'm just like sitting here smiling while I listen to this. The other one was great and this one is like great in a totally different way.
My first exposure to 'Fly Like you' was a 'mash up' of the version with Nowaking and the original sung by Brittany, used in a video by Bench Thieves. I had read FO:E and FOE: Project Horizons by that point, and loved 'em both. To find a SFM video of Velvet singing at a club, surrounded by other ponies and her friends was a real treat, and the mash-up was both funny, and delightfully droll. So far as I know, DJ Pon-3 (DJ Pon-E, aka: DJ PONY), aka: Vynil Scratch, did not survive the Great War. The DJ Pon-Three on the Equestrian airwaves since the war have been the descendants of Vynil's various nephews, nieces, or cousins, taking up the mantle and name, using a Voice Alteration Spell to sound like the first pony to take on the job... Which I surmise was Vynil's Nephew. The Current Dj Pon-three is Homage, a female unicorn, that uses the voice spell to sound like her male ancestor. Keeping the mystery up as to just who and what DJ Pon-Three really is. So, not knowing this, I would be as surprised as Little Pip was when she discovered Homage at the microphone, sounding like a stallion as she broadcast her shows over the airwaves. But, like Pip, I'd keep her secret. Not for the reason Little Pip does, but because the DJ is too important to the Wasteland to reveal the thruth and destroy the legend that is DJ Pon-Three. Overmare Studios, you make such wonderful music. Keep on doing so. I have enjoyed listening to each of the songs, and they are so well written and sung that I have made MP3 copies that I have both on my computer and in my portable MP3 player when I am out and about. Although I have heard all three versions of the song "Fly Like You", I hope you won't be too mad at me for liking the mash-up version by Bench Thieves the best. But please note that my liking for it is only a shade more than my liking for the other two versions. All three are played often on my computer and MP3 player. :) I have listened to several of the broadcasts by East Corp, and mostly enjoyed them a lot. The only sticking point is East Corp's decision to make the DJ someone other than Homage, who is Dj Pon-Three as shown in K-Kat's story. The mental 'break' when both the DJ and Homage are 'on air' at the same time in different locations, is a bit jarring, and obviously 'out of place', but otherwise the broadcasts are very well written, and voice acted. The stories are compelling and once you start to hear one, you hang on to hear what happens next, just like reading an especially well written story. Which, is the sign of a Good Writer, in my estimation. Keep up the good work. I will be looking for more, and visiting your websites often for updates. Rhymer, the Frank Pony.
That picture... Is that picture...? my god... IT'S A FUCKING EIGHTIES SPOOF! *ties red headband around mullet and fires deagles to the air. jets flying past, ACDC playing in the background* FUCK YEEEEAAAAH!
This is amazing. 😁 Awesome job! I also find it hilarious that listening to the blatant mutual racism portrayed in this song makes me feel vaguely uncomfortable, _even knowing_ that it's about two fictional races of magical ponies.
Holy celestia this is AAAAAAAWWWWWWEEEEEESSSSSOOOOOMMMMMEEEE You guys did a really good job on this, that's amazing, I love it and thanks luna it's not an april fool Brittany&Jessi in the same song
Doesn't NoWacking voice littlepip in the radio play as well? Or is voicing going to be like the original fallout games where the protagonist doesn't speak.
OvermareStudios * Jaw on floor* *blinks out of emotional confusion* Damn... Well, I... um... hmm... ... uh... How many songs of this quality are you planning on making? And what energy source are all of you people running on in that studio, because surely it isn't one that is found on earth. When I first found out that someone was making a Fo:E game (about 6-7 months ago), I cracked down on a mission to follow its progress. Now, after watching it progress from where it was to where it is now, I know that this is something VERY special. What baffles me to this day is the quality of the game you are producing; from the models, to the physics, to keeping true to the story, and to even the music! This is the kind of game that would sell in a box for like $50 at Best Buy, but you are doing it all for free! This is a feat of mankind to care so much about a book to make a game that costs thousands of dollars to make, and when it is done it is available for nothing! You all should be proud of yourselves; what you all are doing is a priceless gift to the fandom that you all hold dear, and with such an expertly crafted gift, the fandom will never be able to give you all enough thanks to pay back what you will eventually give us. With that said, It would be amazing for the game to be released soon. But I know for a fact that your love and care for this game will make it perfect when it finally gets completed, and this is why I can wait for however long it will take, even if it is 2020 when it gets done! Though, I still sit in agony sometimes waiting for the next sneak-peek of the game to be posted, just to see more of what the game will be like... and to keep me happy until the release. What I'm trying to say is that I appreciate... no... I applause?... no, that's not it either... I don't think there is a word for how much I feel about what all of you at TOmS is doing, just that it is a good feeling! And I am sure that thousands of others feel the same way as I do. But... there is one problem that I have noticed. With such a detailed and extravagant game that you at TOmS pour your hearts into, I fear that my computer won't be able to run it. So out of curiosity, when (and if) you reply, can you give a estimation of what would a computer need to run the game in its final form? Thanks.
Yeah, to say that they are "amazing" is an overstatement. Besides ***** has already taken the "amazing" and that "amazing" is solely his xD ;D! Adam the amazing really IS amazing, of which he is the embodiment... Synth, your feeling of patience and faith are exactly what people who follow Bethesda feel for them as well! Bethesda Game Studios is such an amazing company that the wait for the next Fallout installment will without a doubt be worth it. It's been 5 years since Fallout 3, and we damn well know it will be worth the wait. I'd say the best way to appreciate this... masterpiece... is to take the time to thank, notice, and praise each and every single person on the entire Fo:E team; every person who has contributed in the slightest to the conversions of Fo:E whether it be radioplay, animation, game, or music.
I absolutely adored the original and, while this one isn't quite as great (imo of course), it's a wonderful song. Gonna enjoy listening to this one often as well.
Oh this should be a reward for getting the records for Alive, you should add these for like side quests, like you go to Amige (Who ever you use as DJ Pony) and she will give you a location for a stable and after you find it you can bring it to her and that will unlock that song... That is just me though and this is your game. :P plus is their a way to send stuff like this comment to you directly I am new to this.
Found something interesting compared to the original seems Dash got aced by two unicorn ponies :) That begs the question though who was the unicorn mad at Rainbowdash? Obviously not Velvet she can't be 200 years old... Or could she... *Original version* Velvet: I trained my horn up to the sky like a weapon and I Sprayed a ray and prayed and cleared it up in about… two seconds *Remix version* Pon3: I took mah horn to the window like a weapon and I busted the sky up in about two seconds (did it, did it) did it all without droppin’ the beat, so how’s it feel to be obsolete?
+Nick Spratt No need to, it's free... crazy I know. :) Link: soundcloud.com/wasteland_wailers/fly-like-you-remix All the songs are here, you just gotta look.
Original was better, but this is still really good expecially with Nowacking even though she probably won't be in any other songs. Anyways, great work like always.
DeusExMachina Reznov Let me see what I can do. edit: AJ Sporka and I are working on making instrumental stems for release in the next few days. You'll be one of the first to know! ...along with the rest of everyone reading this. ...creepers
Austin Beaver Thanks! You can download them from our SoundCloud, soundcloud.com/wasteland_wailers. How to put them into a mod -- umm, that I don't know :-)
Adam Sporka heh kinda found out for myself now. Sadly I can't publish a standalone mod for it but at least I got Velvet Remedy's Step Around as my main menu theme ^^
Well..... What I would do, personally, is ask one of them if they would accept a... gift! Technically, that's not an official donation, just one pony being generous to another pony (; after all we have to get the "Sharing kindness" from Fluttershy in the opening intro into our community, don't we? ;3! And Magic makes it all complete... "How did you send money to them!?" "Gee, I dunno.... Magic?"
gah... I think I'd like a Fallout/MLP crossover more than FoE... simply because the music in Fallout is.. well.. it's great. The Ink Spots, Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, they're all classic. THAT'S the kinda music I wanna hear when walking through a post nuclear wasteland.
So great. So, so great. Uhm, is this song in the radio roaster from the beginning of the game? Cause that wouldn't make too much sense, since Velvet... and stuff. So will it be unlocked once the player hits a certain part of the story? In general... are Velvet's songs gonna be on the Pon-3 radio from the get-go?
This may change, but, for now, this song will not be a part of the game's music roster since it really isn't time period accurate as you noted. The original, which we released last week, will be though! Thanks for listening! :)
Right. Basically, the Overmare Studios is the whole dev team. The Wasteland Wailers is its spin-off in a sense: We found out that we can work together beyond the scope of the game as well because we simply like to make all sorts of music. So while we develop content (and also music technology) for the game, we also produce extra stuff that won't make it to the game but as many other brony musicians we're releasing things as we go.
Nowacking rapping
_Nowacking rapping_
*NOWACKING RAPPING*
That is all.
I KNOW! :D I'm part of the music team here and I still was fanboying about it before we released the track. :)
JOrchestration How can anypony NOT be a fan of their own work!? :D. I imagine if I were to ever be apart of the team, I would still be freaking out about the work you all would be producing xD. I'm not like Rainbow Dash... that's why all of these ponies are 20% cooler than me (;, which makes that an unbelievable 120%! ;D
***** This is exactly why I can't go to bronycon, I'll start fanboying all the peoples.
I'm also in high school,... so that might also be a problem.
that was always where she/he was strongest.
So this is a remix of a song made for a game based on a fanfiction that was inspired by a children's cartoon and another game.

Giblet Gravy WE MUST GO DEEPER!
What about a cover of a remix of a cover of a song for a game thats inspires my a childrens show and a game thats a derivative of the 80s if they got nuked, thats quite derivative
Technically this is a remix of a remix
Incorrect, this video exists ruclips.net/video/jTqvzP-Erl0/видео.html
So, this is a remix of a song for a fan game for a fanfic?
We must go deeper.
Is that... is that a challenge?
JOrchestration Well, if you're going to make a Project Horizons recursive fic video game song remix cover...
madmag101
That's deep.
My inner programmer needed to formulate your statement as:
(MLP × Fallout) → fanfic → fan game → song → remix.
Yes, that's pretty intense :-)
madmag101 You mean like how Pinkie's Brew was a parody song for a parody show, then translated into Russian, then translated back into English, and then remixed yet again after that? Yeah, we can definitely go deeper if we try hard! (We just need to try hard.)

we will every we can ,the matter is the time and MLP fandom is the best Fandom
In my opinion, very few people can make autotune work.
Holy SHIT Nowacking sounds good autotuned.
Wow! If I had a car, I'd be doing the same!
I have a weird feeling that I'll end up with more hours in the Fo:E game than FO4 once it comes out. Really looking forward to it!
+Typoglyphic For some reason, I love Fo:E more than the actual Fallout series. At least storywise, so I'll be sinking hours into playing it.
The Fallout series writing hasn't really touched me like FoE has. I feel New Vegas is on par with it but 4 and 3 can't even compare. Fallout Equestria actually made me sad, FoE made me think. no pony model mod so i stopped playing

As soon as nowacking comes in with DJ-PON3 the song becomes so hype! SUCH A GOOD REMIX!
So it's like an 80s remix of a song from the 50s.
And it was actually done in the 2010s
Retrostyling. Seems legit.
Michael Mitchell what
That was pretty amazing, love the musical style and the lyrics are really great.
This song has one of my all time favorite vocal harmonies, the "yeah" towards the very end.
WOW this is sooooo awesome :)
>Nowacking laying down the smack on Rainbow Dash
I don't think I've head anything funnier, 10/10
That Vinyl part was unexpected and glorious. How did I not find out about this before?
This is an absolute, astonishing masterpiece.
Thank you.
Masterpiece...
there is literally no other word to describe their work, pony (:!
Never heard the original but BY CELESTIAS BEARD DO I LIKE THIS ONE :D
SUPERB!
OMG I feel the 80s!!!!! My favorite decade.
Probably one of my favorite songs at the moment.
glad someone likes this version :D
Aww c'mon Yondy. You know I'm a sucker for this one as well :D
heheeeee I do. We need to do that remaster we've been flirting with at some point.
dude, i love this version!
Omg, I love everything about this
That... was an honestly good song! Nowacking was great! and we had a good RD, which is, unusual to say the least! Excellent work!
At first I was thinking bad about the song, but it's really good.
I
This is ridiculously awesome! I love this so much! It's absolutely PERFECT! :D
My first exposure to 'Fly Like you' was a 'mash up' of the version with Nowaking and the original sung by Brittany, used in a video by Bench Thieves.
I have listened to several of the broadcasts by East Corp, and mostly enjoyed them a lot.
2019 to anyone?
All the people singing in this song are AMAZING
Sweet! Never seen a song turned into something as awesome as this from its original version, keep it up.
And this shows the quality of work that the Overmare Studios produces ^^
this is why I like fallout equestrian I could see myself walking the road with this playing on my pipbuck hahahahahaha
Download where! Must have! Shut up and take my money!
On our SoundCloud. For free :-)

80's you say... hmmmmm. More of an early 2000's but I love it!
WOW! I love this. I've listened to the original dozens of times and this remix is just so cool.
Love Vinyl in this remix hahah
That picture... Is that picture...? my god... IT'S A FUCKING EIGHTIES SPOOF! *ties red headband around mullet and fires deagles to the air. jets flying past, ACDC playing in the background* FUCK YEEEEAAAAH!
Very nice!!!!!!!!!!
Love this remix. Amazin
This is amazing. 😁 Awesome job!
I also find it hilarious that listening to the blatant mutual racism portrayed in this song makes me feel vaguely uncomfortable, _even knowing_ that it's about two fictional races of magical ponies.
Holy celestia this is AAAAAAAWWWWWWEEEEEESSSSSOOOOOMMMMMEEEE
You guys did a really good job on this, that's amazing, I love it
and thanks luna it's not an april fool
Brittany&Jessi in the same song
Je t'ai TROUVÉÉÉÉÉ
Wow everypony, wow! You all certainly know how to give these ponies the praise they deserve! :D
As always Equestrian Techies loves your work, also voting this for top 10 songs montly
You got my feet moving and grooving to this. Didn't think it would be this good! :D
Omg, WHY isnt this on Spotify?! This is an awesome song!!
2:06 It just got super real
This is sweet!
Please tell me nowacking is voice acting in this game.
lewrl1 I believe that she'll be voicing Homage in game.
Bobby Claggett so...happy.... :D
lewrl1 Oh my god, yes
Doesn't NoWacking voice littlepip in the radio play as well? Or is voicing going to be like the original fallout games where the protagonist doesn't speak.
sgtsammac I know she voices Pip in the radio drama, but I'm 99% certain that she'll be silent here.
I love it!
THIS THIS IS 21% cooler DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM
It's awesome!
I wonder if Brittany has ever been on the Voice or American Idol, she'd have my vote for sure.
i think i prefer this remix to the original, love that guitar.
Fantastic! )
Awesome!

So amazing!
Awesome sauce!!! :D ♡♡♡
Love this song! Good job!!!
Has anyone kept track of how many genres they absolutely nailed with this one?
I like it!
I think that this version is better than the original. Either way both are awesome. Great job!😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
I absolutely adored the original and, while this one isn't quite as great (imo of course), it's a wonderful song. Gonna enjoy listening to this one often as well.
Unexpected, but I like it!
very nice remix, rare!
I have a feeling I'm going to end up sucked back into the pony fandom somehow.... and it's because of the fan music and videos 😂😂
Well glue your wings and jump and fuckin see how you like it! Fuck yeah!
Prefer the original, but this is an interesting take of it.
Same, it's got a nice little swing that just can't be beat
adamtheamazing64 Agreed, i liked the original better, but this has a nice spin to it all the same.
Yay Adam! Hai Adam! :D. This is interesting, I love it all the same, but yeah, you can't... you just can't beat Jazz! Too catchy!
Sounds realy nice but but the original suits is just better.
John GreenHoof Yep, I think the original is better. But still, this is quite nice.
Littlepip,The Toaster Repair Pony approved!

That is just me though and this is your game. :P plus is their a way to send stuff like this comment to you directly I am new to this.
Hmm, quick question, is that background from an old Pink Floyd Album?
Found something interesting compared to the original seems Dash got aced by two unicorn ponies :) That begs the question though who was the unicorn mad at Rainbowdash? Obviously not Velvet she can't be 200 years old... Or could she...
*Original
version*
Velvet:
I trained my horn up to the sky like a weapon and I
Sprayed a ray and prayed and cleared it up in about… two seconds
*Remix version*
Pon3:
I took mah horn to the window like a weapon and I
busted the sky up in about two seconds
(did it, did it) did it all without droppin’ the beat,
so how’s it feel to be obsolete?
Cool Cool Cool Cool have I mentioned that this is cool? I guess, but it's so cooooooool
niiice
You should do some songs for pink eyes since it is part of it
When will you take my money so I can download this amazing music 🎶
+Nick Spratt No need to, it's free... crazy I know. :)
Link: soundcloud.com/wasteland_wailers/fly-like-you-remix All the songs are here, you just gotta look.
why are the first introduced vocals slightly panned to the left?
I'm sure Adam Sporka or Yondy Koh would be able to give you an answer.
***** Because Velvet is standing to the left of the microphone.
Lol I love it! xD :D. Fantastic detail! ^^
Original was better, but this is still really good expecially with Nowacking even though she probably won't be in any other songs.
Anyways, great work like always.
Hey, any chance that I could get the chords to this version of the song?
Anyone see the SFM before the remix?
Uhhhhh, the game's set as Wasteland 1988, not sure if it's an error or something
You wouldn't happen to have an instrumental version, would you?
DeusExMachina Reznov with or without bg vocals?
Yondy Koh both
DeusExMachina Reznov
Either Or
DeusExMachina Reznov Let me see what I can do.
edit: AJ Sporka and I are working on making instrumental stems for release in the next few days. You'll be one of the first to know! ...along with the rest of everyone reading this.
...creepers
I'd like to have this, too!
Is there anyway I can download these songs and compile them all into a custom radio station mod for Fallout NV?
Austin Beaver Thanks! You can download them from our SoundCloud, soundcloud.com/wasteland_wailers. How to put them into a mod -- umm, that I don't know :-)
Adam Sporka heh kinda found out for myself now. Sadly I can't publish a standalone mod for it but at least I got Velvet Remedy's Step Around as my main menu theme ^^
That was really good, really looking forward to this game... Is their a way to help with donations or such...
They don't accept donations. If they did, it'd be more difficult to claim fair use of the MLP and Fallout copyrights.
Exedrus Zeta that sucks cause I would donate.
Magic?"
Is there going to be a trailer for Fo:E when it gets closer to release or are you just gonna release it?
Dare master is ok, but I like songs more like this
Cool,well work fallout equestria?
Adam Sporka Oh, yeah, that makes sense. Awesome! You won't see me complaining about that, love the music the Wasteland Wailers released to far :D
I suppose it could work as a ending credits song, but thats just my idea I'll leave it to the professionals.
The Lucky Block Ending credits please :D
so did you make the sound system or did you just recorded.
OMG! Awesome remix! Is this gonna be in AOE? It would be the best.
Nops.... !!!!
Why do I associate warframe Empyrean missions with this song?
Good
Now make it Metal and ill be completely satisfied
Nah, just kidding
Awesome song

This beginning was amazing. But that's all ;__;. Whole song should has this vocal as at the beginning.
That's not '80's.
good song but i like the original better
Жаль что на англиском. Я русский человек.
