I Love that she was willing to try something different. She would have looked amazing in a white tailored suit but she really got into the spirit. She’s the bride too 🩷
I just went to a wedding where the mother of the bride, in an elegant long slinky dress, wore slightly platform sneakers with sequins. You absolutely can wear sneakers to a wedding whether you're the bride, the mother of the bride, or a guest. There are no rules anymore people.
@@stephanieyee9784Maybe to you. Nobody should care what a wedding guest wears as long as they aren't wearing something that is going to take the attention away from the couple. If someone wants to wear sneakers, they are more than welcome to. Wedding guests should always be comfortable.
You are 100% correct! I wore navy hey dudes with my dress, they were my something blue and it was fantastic! You couldn’t see them anyway and I don’t do heels so it was perfect. I’m already 2 inches taller than my husband and a tomboy at heart so sneakers were the perfect choice and it was SO nice not to have sore feet at the end of the night
I see so many people commenting like there is something wrong with being a tomboy. She looks absolutely stunning before and after the transformation! 🔥 And I don't understand the obsession with heels. I've seen some gorgeous bridal sneakers.
I think a lot of people think tomboys are a result of, ‘you can’t fire me, I quit’- embracing one thing because you fail at “the other” option(s). It’s quite exciting to see that the sky is the limit- for everyone!
She's stunning in whatever she wears, and honestly I do NOT think she looks better in the dress. I think she looks best when she feels most like herself, and I am really kinda annoyed by what feels like the notion that wearing the dress is some kind of Huge Growth Step for her. She's awesome period.
Agreed, the hard push for "femininity" here is revolting. The idea that pants, shirts and sneakers are inherently less "feminine" than dresses, ruffles and lace and high heels is bogus. Masculine and feminine is not about frivolous, external stuff.
@@joralemonvirgincreche Right. I think about what my daughter might wear and don't know if I can picture her in a dress. I could see her in a cute fitted white satin pant with a loose, flowy blouse though.
The person selling you a wedding dress should not think they have any say over your shoes when they're not even gonna be there. She's wearing a dress because she wants to do it for her fiancée, and nobody is forcing her to do that, so the consultant telling her that she should wear heels is ridiculous. I've seen brides get married in sneakers, cowboy boots, barefoot, and underwater with scuba fins. The entire look is and always should be the bride's choice.
I don't know that they were pressuring her; it's their job to know bridal fashion and make recommendations based on that knowledge. She wasn't falling over on the way out, and everyone, including her, seemed pleased with the total presentation. She didn't have to buy the shoes (or the lovely hair decoration) if she wasn't going to be comfortable wearing them on her wedding day. Both ladies are beautiful and should do what makes them feel like a bride on their wedding day.🥰🥰🥰
I agree with you under normal circumstances, but this entire version of the show (“Brides Gone Styled”) is meant to completely re-style a bride from head to toe. They don’t have to accept the new style or wear it on their wedding day (I don’t even know if they pay for the dresses or accessories), they agree to go on the show to have the stylists “remake” them. You notice there was no talk about price or budgets, the stylists instead brought in a bunch of dresses in the size of the “client” and had her choose from those assembled. So the thing about not wearing sneakers was more about the show’s premise than about what she actually chooses to wear “on the day.”
The blush pink dress is the one and only wedding dress I would ever want. Love it!! So glad she decided to wear a dress, my daughter did the same and her fiancé is wearing a black dress (so glad my untraditional daughter chose traditional white).
She is so naturally beautiful and im glad she stepped out of her comfort zone! I do wish the consultants were less condescending concerning her personal style
Wow! Absolutely STUNNING!!!! Now that she has found her inner woman I wonder if she'll wear a dress for other occasions too. Wishing them both many years of wedded bliss.
As I have said before, all women deserve to have a moment in their lives where they feel beautiful, whether it's a Prom, a Wedding, or anything else. Most women are beautiful when young, that's the blessing of youth. Women should embrace their youth, and enjoy being pretty. Trust me, it doesn't take long for the bloom of youth to fade. Embrace your youth! And come see me after LOL!
She looked fabulous, I really like that dress on her. The hair looked so pretty and I love the clip they had. Those shoes are amazing too but I do agree about the slit. I think it'd look better either not as high or just totally gone
RUDE! "ONE PROBLEM"?? I count 2 Problems: Greta & Robert's 'work cut out for them'? Aliza didn't need a 'make-over', or snarky, mocking put downs. Aliza could belt a paper sack and look Hot... Auntie Gok (and others) keep Open Minds to help a Goddess find her Groove, so the dress isn't wearing the bride...just sayin'.
Yes! I would love to have seen this episode with pretty much any of the others. Gok, Jo & Al, David, Lori & Monte all would have been much more respectful.
She is absolutely stunning in that dress "JACKED UP". She's is beautiful. Girl you could be a runway model. Be very proud of the woman you are in your wedding day. It's going to be the furst day of your marriage & life. Congratulations I hope your wedding was absolutely perfect for you both. May your marriage be loving, caring, fullfilling, joyful, lasting forever, & prosperous. May God bless your marriage.
A 180 degree turn from her usual, yet she looked very comfortable in the gorgeous ombré dress, relaxed hair & sparkling head piece & heels. Not her usual? But maybe her new on special occasions.
Hi Robert love seeing you again on TV I love how you both are like her parents taking your daughter dress shopping for the first time and that's what it is You guys warm my heart oh one thing you could do white boots if she won't to heels timerland makes white boots ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Something about this makes me feel uneasy. I mean, if this is definitely what she wants then that's great, she looks stunning and good on her. But I hope she isn't just choosing a dress because she feels like she has to. She would totally rock a suit.
🎉 Aliza, First off the enga gement proposal in the helicopter was spectacular!! Totally Awesome!!❤ 🎉 And second was The 🔥Make-Over.🔥 🔥 Aliza was Incredible x10!! 🔥 😊 CONGRATS 2 U 2!! Ya'll going to be looking like "Two Sharp Dressed Goddess" Best Wishes" 🎉
At My sister's wedding the girls in the bridal party went barefoot. Including the bride. We could not find my sister the right shoes (she has a tiny foot) and we couldnt find matching shoes in the right color for all of us bridesmaids, so we all embraced the barefoot life lol we made it a thing! The love is what matters. Not the shoe. If she wants to wear sneakers, let her. Or even like a ballet flat! Or a sandle. Don't force her to do a heel
I love say yes to the dress … but idk why I just don’t like the host of this version.. sometimes they come off as rude 🤷🏻♀️ but the bride looks beautiful! Wish they gave her more choices too.
When she said her perfect dress would be a huge t-shirt I was expecting them to put her in a scoop neck dress with cap sleeves. Because it’s very “t-shirt” on top, and then she could have an a-line or flowy skirt. And they could have added a blush accent belt. I think it would have been cool for her to see how pretty and bridal it could look to give her exactly what she said she wanted. That she herself was probably not able to imagine. I think she looks totally uncomfortable, even if the dress is beautiful on her. Also, the insistence she wear high heels was totally off putting. She could have a low block heel and still look formal. I mean, just google “low block heel wedding shoes” and so many beautiful options come up.
I think she would’ve felt more herself and comfy in a vest with pantsuit. They had dressed another lesbian couple and she wore a vest and pants that was silk/satin.
I wish they would’ve dressed her in a beautiful pant suit. She looks beautiful in the dress but not comfortable. Imagine a white pant suit with a blush vest and white hat!!!!! (And gym shoes)
I feel like this bride's fiance would be happier for this bride if the bride herself felt comfortable and felt great wearing something that represented the person her fiance fell in love with instead of playing dress-up for the big day. A suit on this bride would've made them both happy, I feel.
I'm pretty feminine but hate to wear dresses too! I feel the most sexy & attractive in a stylish pant suit or dress pants w/ a button up blouse - and super tall heels, those are a must! 😆 She really did look great in the dress 👍🏽 Loved her style from the jump but she lit up in the dress for sure! 🙌🏽
If i never wear dresses I'd definitely feel awkward trying them on! This was probably totally out of her comfort zone. She said she wanted to do it which is fine but if i was her I'm not sure i would have tried it

Think consultants should have looked at more her style rather than theirs

Yeah, it's okay to look ugly and funny on one of the "biggest day" of your life, coz you refuse to be styled even for one day. 🙄😮💨
It's a suggestion. Obviously the people altering it can ask if she is wearing heels or flats, get measurements and hem it up
So glad she still feels like herself.Stunning ❤
She looks absolutely gorgeous in this dress! Hair is too cute! The veil! Makeup! Very pretty!
Where is that damn gorgeous pant suit they had for the other girl????😊
Those shoes were everything and she looked like that dress was made for her. It will be lovely next to the other bride’s pink dress. ❤️
She looks STUNNING in that dress. Her hair and make up at the end!!!!! That was the chef’s kiss 💋 ❤❤
If she did a dress for the ceremony and maybe a cool jumpsuit for the party, that would've been cool and comfortable!!
Gorgeous is an understatement. She looks better than most professional models. Fabulous!!!

from not wearing a dress, to directly wearing such a revealing dress? surprising!!
If you never wear heels, how can you feel comfortable in it in such a big day?..
This girl looked gorgeous before you transform her.
