I’ve seen brides come in with 2 WEEKS before their wedding and still find a dress of the rack or something. I never realized how long dresses take to ship in and alter! Love the bride.
I bought a dress off the rack less than 2 months before the wedding. We chose a short engagement. The store was great and took the dress in 4-5 sizes before our wedding!
the fact that 4 months isn't enough time to buy a dress is crazy also the fact she waited last minute to buy the dress is crazy. LIKE SHE WAS ENGAGED FOR 3 YEARS AND NOW DECIDED TO BUY A DRESS
It takes time to make a wedding dress. Buying a wedding dress is not the same thing as buying a shirt. You can’t just buy it off the rack and expect it to fit you perfectly. You still have to do alterations even if you get it ordered. So getting one off the rack would mean even more alterations and more time and money.
Many years ago, you only needed to go gown shopping 2 or 3 months out and that even gave time for alterations, but not anymore. 6 to 9 months is the new normal.

If you buy a dress made in China you will have it in a few weeks, but not high end designer dresses. They are all hand made to order and some materials are from other countries and production has been a mess since the pandemic.

Ebony should've started looking for her wedding dress the day after she got engaged. It shouldn't matter that she was overwhelmed. Yes, she's disappointed in the selection they're showing her, but that's HER FAULT. Like Debbie and Randy know it takes 8-9 months for a dress.
No offense but sometimes these people sound really rude. No need to literally shame her multiple times for ‘waiting so long to get a dress’. How are you supposed to know 4 months is a really short time to get a dress ready? I never would’ve guessed it takes that much time and obviously she’s never bought a wedding dress before. For them, it’s their job but as a bride it might not be as obvious
Rudeness is never right, I agree. But everyone should find out the turn around time for wedding dresses just to be on the safe side. I looked into it and told my daughter, we need to go shopping 9 months out and not 3 months out like I did many years ago. LOL

Still ahve the suit and can put it on
In india , lots of wedding dates are picked up between a window of 3-6 months. I didn't know my husband 4.5 months ago
I think many, many, many brides don't buy their dress months in advance. You know your body may change.
The dress she picked looks like she is wrapped in bedsheets.
I don't think that shiny material does her any favours. The floaty one was better.
Wish we had a "Jo and Al" over here. They have much more flattering styles for full-figured girls, and smother them with love.
LOL
I don't thing the dress is flattering to her silhouette with all the rushing
She wasn't overwhelmed...she wanted to hoggggggg😂
This “Princess” notion is sooo outdated and fairytale…… And to be so hard to please when you wait until the last minute is ridiculous!
The mummy dress , why, why!!

Im confused as to why 4 months is such a crisis? I mean, a bride can find a seamstress if need be...4 months is plenty of time
4 months away is last minute ! ??
4 months...that's not enough time????
