Amen and amen! She is beautiful inside out! An absolute joy! I’ll never forget the first day I met her at Mt Pisgah Academy. She was ‘trying’ - my term! - to unlock her room door. Of course I dashed to assisted only to be told “I can do this!” And she did! I was amazed and continue to be amazed by this woman who did not and does not allow ‘inconvenience’ to limit her zest for life or limit her ability to live fully and completely for Him! May God continue to bless her! Mary McPherson Davis

She is an amazing woman. It is so easy to be judgemental but, just listening to this woman, you know that you could talk to her about anything and not be judged, very rare in life.

Love you so much, you have meant the world to my family. I could only wish to be half as intelligent and strong as my dear friend Faye. Happy Sabbath.

Faye, you supported me, emotionally. I met you at Southern. You were a dorm monitor. I admired your gentleness of spirit. You were like a song we didn’t have to hear a melody for-so I briefly shared my guitar with you. Your playing was beautiful. But everything you did was well thought and well done.

Beautiful story. I have to apologize for the early work of therapy trying to change you to what you’re not. I am an occupational therapist but a bit younger than you (not by much). I remember some of the early years in the late 1980s when therapy was using assistive devices a little bit more than was necessary. Such as having people use prosthetic arms that gave them no extra purpose. This was usually when they had one arm gone, and everyone else thought they needed to replace the one that was lost when most of the time, giving them a prosthetic arm was just a hindrance. I love your story. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks, Faye, I needed to hear this today. Your testimony is inspiring and uplifting. I remember you from academy- GCA- and you were always an inspiration back then too.
