It’s the same here in Australia. France, well Europe in general, has so much history that each town has had something of historical significance happen there.
Stephanie’s sharing of each tapestry was so interesting. And her videography skills is excellent. She brings to life what the piece is portraying. Also love the part of the video showing the old tapestry town. And of course the heart warming ending. Marie’s mum gave such thoughtful gifts.
My heart melted seeing Lancelot in his jumper and then the reindeer outfit. Just adorable. So grateful that Tonton Steven managed to remove the thorn from Molly's paw.❤🐕🦌🌲

I have not visited a tapestry museum and am learning so much. They are akin to paintings in that they tell a story. Seeing the loom helped me feel how it could be construed as drudgery to make one. It seems a shame step on them as rugs. Cold stone walls needed those for insulation. Thank you for the excursion.

The tapestry Museum was amazing to see. As someone else mentioned in the comments in the United States this is not something you see very often. The Getty has a beautiful tapestry section, but just a few items. I also really enjoy seeing the food and how creative and healthy French food is. Oh, and Lancelot! That little dog has my heart. So nice to see Maria ‘s mother as well.
The tapestry museum was just delightful and so educational. The last tapestry was the forest, I saw a human figures in the two different trees. Go back and take another look. It's very beautiful!
