🙏 Hi guys. Please don't contact me directly with travel questions and the like. I don't have a lot of free time and don't want to offend by not responding. It's best to leave a comment on the video. I do read most of them and your question will hopefully help others. 🙏
I was wrong about maracuja being Swahili. Apparently: maracujá is from Portuguese and maracujá from Spanish. The Swahili is matunda ya shauku, which is closer to the Kinyarwanda amatunda.
It melts my heart seeing someone interested about Africa thank you so much
Hy l'm from Rwanda 😊
Small bananas (imineke) are the best
They are so good 👍
I had to Google tree tomatoes. I don't think I have ever eaten one. I was never convinced by the "hot drinks are better for cooling down" theory. Truth is, when I've tried, I'd get so hot after my first few sips of tea that I would not finish the drink. I love chilled watermelon and that would get my vote
It's also called tamarillo. When they turn yellow they're supposed to taste sweeter, but I just find them a bit too sour. They're interesting if you happen to find them, but I wouldn't go out of your way to track one down. They make a nice juice if you sweeten it.
