I'm so jealous that you get to watch Star Wars for the first time as an adult. Just please, watch those films in release order (1. A New Hope, 2. The Empire Strikes Back, 3. The Return of the Jedi, 4. The Phantom Menace, 5. The Attack off the Clones, 6. The Revenge of the Sith). And disregard the new Disney Star Wars remakes, trust me. I never though Star Wars was capable of being ruined but Disney did it. :(
Exactly right.
This! The release order it is.
I do hold that the best way to watch them changes to chronological after you’ve seen them, though.
Tortuga was a pirates haven. That's why it's so lawless and chaotic.
Jack had recently stole that medallion from them. It was part of his plan so that he couldn't die when he fought Barbosa
The item placed under Elizabeth's blanket was called a bedwarmer or a warming pan. It basically acts like a precursor for an electric blanket.
I'm from Western Europe and never heard of an electric blanket before LOL
@@morcjulHeizdecke? Ask your parents or grandparents or every other person, who is prone to be cold easily.
It's basically a blanket that contains integrated electrical heating wires. Another possible precursor to this was the hot water bottle, which was quite similar to the bed warmer. @@morcjul
I'm from Pakistan (a small town) and I've had one before. I still do but don't really use it anymore.
@@morcjul however I didn't get it from here. My sister bought in China while she was studying. But these days, online apps in Pakistan such as Daraz gets you almost anything to your doorsteps 😁
For Star Wars, you should definitely watch them the way everyone else did- in the order they were released.
So like this:
Star Wars Episode IV [4]: A New Hope (1977)
Star Wars Episode V [5]: Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Star Wars Episode VI [6]: Return of the Jedi (1983)
Star Wars Episode I [1]: Phantom Menace (1999)
Star Wars Episode II [2]: Attack of the Clones (2002)
Star Wars Episode III [3]: Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Star Wars Episode VII [7]: The Force Awakens (2015)
Star Wars Episode VIII [8]: The Last Jedi (2017)
Star Wars Episode IX [9]: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Correct order: IV, V, VI, II, III.
Good to see you watching good old Captain Jack Sparrow. Do you remember Legolas? The elve archer from Lord of the Rings? That's the same actor that played as Will Turner
Somewhow my original comment disappeared, so sorry if it's a double post, but about the films geared towards children: A heartwarming piece of trivia is that for many years Johnny Depp did carry a full Jack Sparrow costume in his luggage, when he was filming or on festivals etc.
This way, if he had the chance, he visited local children's hospitals in full character to cheer the young patients up.
(Johnny Depp visits hospital as Jack Sparrow.) ❤
Hey, certainly I did watch a video of him going to a children's hospital. I guess for Make A Wish foundation may be?
@@adnanatthemovies All I know is, he did it several times. I believe he just reached out to the hospitals and asked if he could come.
In an interview on Graham Norton he said, that his daughter was very sick when she was little and he spent a long time with her at a hospital. Then he had the idea to cheer up not only the children, but also the parents, even for a short time.
Just rewatched the movie recently, what a timing! Also, did you notice that Will is played by the same actor as Legolas?
I'm glad someone commented that Orlando Bloom played birth characters - I was just thinking that I should mention it!
Oh, believe me I was forcing my brain too much to remember where have you seen this guy, I knew I had seen him somewhere but couldn't really think of. Thank you so much 🤗❤️🌹
The Star Wars series started in the middle because that is where most of the action is. Then they went back to the beginning to give some extra story. If you watch it in release order, you get a big surprise early on. Watching it in chronological order, you get a different (and less dramatic) surprise.
Finally, someone to guide me 😁
But, this still looks like a tough decision for me lol.
@@adnanatthemovies i personally recommend to watch it in the release order for the first viewing (ep 4-5-6 then ep 1-2-3), then after it can be fun to rewatch in chronological order (ep 1-2-3-4-5-6)
Also, while I agree with the commentary about the Disney films, one film, Rogue One, is an exception and I suggest watching it after the other 6.
@@adnanatthemovies I think watching in the release order is a better experience. It makes everything make more sense that way, gives you all the worldbuilding information in the correct order, builds mysteries in your mind that get answered later instead of being things you've already seen....
Actually, the reason they started in the middle was because the technology George Lucas needed/wanted to do what he envisioned didn't exist yet. It was 1976 and he just didn't have the necessary resources. He started with Ep 4 because he knew he could pull it off with what he had to work with at that time, which was mostly limited to practical effects, green screen and miniatures. Then he went back and did the first 3 with a much bigger budget & when computers, better graphics and other such things became available in Hollywood.
Those wigs were common at the time in Europe, and their colonies, to help prevent head lice. People would shave their heads and wear those wigs, which were covered with delousing powder. Hence why that style of wig is often just called a powdered wig.
Start on episode 4
Yo, ho, all hands, hoist the colors high! Heave, ho, thieves and beggars, never shall we die!
🤗🙏❤️🌹
There are many great performances by Johnny Depp.
I especially love him in "Benny and Joon" and "What's eating Gilbert Grape", which is also featuring a very very young Leonardo di Caprio, who was nominated for an Oscar for his role.
Also iconic: "Sleepy Hollow", another fantasy ghost story with JD.
I'm so happy you're watching these. It is my second-favorite trilogy after the Lord of the Rings. Have you ever seen Thugs of Hindostan? I think that film drew a lot of inspiration from this one, especially Aamir Khan's character.
"Bottle of water, maybe" 😂😆🤣😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
50:35 He hasn't been cursed the whole movie. He gets cursed because he steals a coin secretly, a few minutes earlier in the film
Thanks for the great reactions, Adnan. I recommend watching Star Wars in the order of release, but you should know that the "main" films are grouped into trilogies.
So, first watch A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi, and that's the original trilogy of Star Wars. After that, you can take a break and watch some other movies if you need a break for the series before going onto the prequel trilogy and then the sequel trilogy.
Looking forward to see if you enjoy this one. I lived in So Cal as a child, it was a rite of passage in our family to go to Disneyland for your 6th birthday. Back then, (before 1982) they had booklets that you got when you bought your entry. The rides were rated A through E, with E being the best rides. You were given only 4 or 5 E tickets, so much planning went into what rides one would go to first. They opened Pirates in March 1967,and I had turned 6 in Dec 1966, so by the time I went, they had opened the new ride, so it's always been part of my Dland experience.
Pirates was the first ride, always! Back then, long lines weren't a thing, because you were limited on how many times you could ride. My mom had a BUNCH of old purses full of unused ABC and D tickets.
So when this movie came out, many of us old farts were very interested on how they were going to integrate all of the scenes in the ride. Just remember.. DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES! lol
Wow, suddenly all of this sounds so interesting and fun. Thank you so much for sharing, I really didn't thought this movie or story could be something kids would be interested in so much. I never even saw any trailers for this. But like me, thousands of people specially here still know Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow just like Heath Ledger as Joker. Many people put those stickers on their motorbikes and cars and really have no clue about both lol.
When they included the scene of the drink going through the skeleton!! I’m still impressed that they managed to seamlessly integrate so many aspects of the original ride into the film
Oh my family and I loved this series so much when it was coming out. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Honestly with Star Wars, you can’t go wrong with going chronological or when they came out. Different experiences.
Spaceballs and Thumb Wars are two Star Wars spoofs also.
Star Wars Episode 4 opened in San Diego in '77. The lines wrapped around the huge, free-standing building. I know I can't link, but you tube has a clip from CBS channel 8 showing how incredibly popular this movie was. ruclips.net/video/Gh2TlvTq67k/видео.htmlsi=0NDDG3mPFi2_SIQl
I'd watch the next 2 Pirates movies, then check out the Star Wars franchise. IMHO, the best movies are 4,5,and 6. But I'm just an old fart, what do I know? Lol
As other commenters have said, I recommend that you watch the Star Wars movies in the order they were released; i.e., start with Episodes 4-6, then episodes 1-3, then 7-9. Incidentally, when you get to Episode 1, you'll see Keira Knightley again...but you might not recognize her.
the next pirate movie is really good
Love your videos.
Thank you!
Adnan, how has watching movies increased your ability to speak English? I noticed you use a lot of slang words and phrases like a native English speaker. It’s very impressive. Americans may learn Spanish for many years in school and barely be able to speak it.
My English used to be a lot better in 2010-2012. I used to talk to people to practice on Skype 🤗
I know a lot of slang words but I always think that people could watch my videos with families or kids so I try not to say something in such way. I even mute such words when they say it in movie, I mean I hear them but the viewer can't
Pirates in Western pop culture can be considered pretty "campy" - generally a lot of light-hearted fun and jokes are included ^-^
Watch Star Wars in release order. So the first one should be "A New Hope" from 1977
The thing the maid put under the blanket was a bed warmer i believe. The actress sis Kira Knightly. Amber Herd was Depps wife for a time. Herd has acted, but not in this series.
This is one of my all time fav movie series. Excited to see you watching them! The second and third ones are my fav. There has been talk of making a 5th one but without Depp. Not sure i will watch it though... doubt it would be as good and my ruin my joy of the series. Jack didnt die when Barbossa stabed him because he took one of the aztec coins.
Thank you for answering about that device 🤗❤️🌹
@@adnanatthemovies you're welcome!
Nice vid! I think the actress is Kiera Knightly (sp?), not Amber Heard.
I really liked Johnny Depp in Sweeny Todd and What's Eating Gilbert Grape. Those are some of his top performances IMO. Blow and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas were decent as well.
Gilbert Grape, yes. And Benny and June.
Thank God it wasn't Herd. How awkward would it be in 2024, right?
Just watch star wars how they are released by Order
You should Watch by This Order
Episode 4 5 6 That's Orignal Classic
Episode 1 2 3 That's Prequel
Episode 7 8 9 That's Sequel
*Promosm*
The first 3 Pirates movies are a solid trilogy
You can skip 4 and 5
