I have a signed cabinet . It’s worth every penny. Great build quality. I would like an Asteroids or defender , Scramble . So many . But I think it’s worth it .

I own all of their original models before the Pandemic hit and they had to raise prices, change manufacturing, etc. I love these and the quality has always been amazing, and I got most of my cabs for around $100(about 1/2 off). Don't know how I feel about the price almost becoming double at this point, but I know this new cab took a lot of work and research and the final product looks amazing. Being an 80's arcade kid, these things are absolutely top shelf and a great collectible.
I might wait and see if these ever go on sale, as that is how I bought most of my earlier models. And yeah, these aren't for everyone, but I find these 100% better than the Arcade1UP cabs, as these are 1:1 recreations, while those are often nothing close to what the originals used to be. As for how well they play, just fine honestly as the 1/4 scale is still big enough to make playing on these fun over time. The New Wave Toys 1/6 scale models are much less playable long term, as those are way small, but good details all the same(and cheaper of course).

I have ordered the machine today from UK an be happy it is available again. a unit, signed by Tomohiro Nishikado would have been my favorite, of course, but I'm glad to have gotten a copy at all. I think the price is o.k. cause this is no product for the masses but for real fans of the old classics.

They should have at least included Space Invaders Part II which worked in the same cabinet although had different color overlays
Space Invaders Part II actually has it's own dedicated machine alongside this one. They probably look awesome together but it's a bit of a commitment to get both haha!

@@RetroDodo - not worth it for me...I wouldn't even get the Arcade1up because it only contained one game (BW & COLOR is the same game)

Super Street Fighter II HD Remix or Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 or Street Fighter III would make good cabinets.
New Wave Toys offered a solid Street Fighter II at a 1/6 scale. Alas, it’s only available on the second hand market now.
Was not expecting you to say £250 - bloody hell! Got one of those arcade1up street fighter cabinet for £300 a few months back. Still really cool though!

$340 for a gimmick, nothing this small is comfortable over long period.
How is it a gimmick? This is a replica collectible for arcade enthusiasts... it's not meant to be played in the same vein as a full scale arcade, obviously.

Nope! And I'm not buying it.. They're taking advantage of this being Space Invaders.. The others were way cheaper..
It is nowhere near worth the asking price- of course each to his/her/its own. They are kinda cool, but then again not. I previously bought two other cabinets Bubble Bobble and Ms. Pacman. Bad screens, bad emulation, faulty buttons. Everything went back. I am kinda glad that the quality is low - it would have been way too expensive and taken up way too much space if everything was great. Besides that they look kinda cool, but the price and quality, man.
