(Well, in my opinion it's not that they are incompatible, it's that she might be flawed in her emotions/personality. Not to say that he isn't, but his reaction to her insults and her reaction to his insults are pretty telling.
He gets visually upset, comments his excuses for the things she finds "wrong", but ultimately doesn't refer to or blame her in those excuses in any way.

They def shouldn't date but they were so rude to each other right off the bat, I think I could def be friends with someone if we wouldn't sugarcoat anything like that. But neither of them were comfortable with the things the other party said so its different. They didn't vibe. But they're pretty similar.
I really respect the guy for saying that he didn't want to date someone with a kid since he was still a kid himself. More people need to be honest with themselves about whether they're ready for kids. Acknowledging you're not ready for such a huge responsibility is far more of an adult thing to do than jumping into parenthood or relationships because that's what's expected of you.
Not to mention that if/when a man wants kids, he wants his own, not another man's.
