can you recommend a brand of equalizer , I bought some new book shelf speakers for my computer and would like to enhance the sound some. I am using windows 10 if that makes a difference.
Create The Imaginary::so lets say i want to raise the vocals'or'voices thats are to low to hear,in a movie i downloaded.Could be it wasnt formated all that perfect. And lets say that screaming, and bombs, crashes, anything thats loud. How would i use the E.Q. to stableize the audio quality of the movie???? because i get thses kind of movies alot and i want to reformate them to a decent sound, where you can hear the people talk when there are talking low, and the louder sounds turn it Down.??? i hope you can give me Some Tips, or info..anything would Help..Thank you..by the way it was a very well detail spoken tutorial.

I was using a standard EQ plug in that came with logic at the time.
That snare loop almost drove me crazy. Great class tho!

+Dondre Dior Take a screenshot at 12:51 and you'll be fine! (cmd + shift + 4)
Thanks for the response Oswald Taona appreciate it
is it wrong to think that the Snare should have been different than the clap... like why use the same for the snare and kick their are many more other sounds... but that is just my professional opinion I get the purpose of this video... Good Stuff
You're using which version of logic?
My bad for the late reply. I was using Logic 9 at the time.
Very nice- thanks!!
Song please
Why cut out the low end if there is none? 8:20
help. I just got these new big speakers, and they are too "bassy". every time a low frequency sound is played they play something like a thump, like you were hitting a microphone in a sock with your finger. they are also "muffled" and all. how to solve this?
***** actually the speakers had an amplifier that was waay off standard settings, I dunno, maybe someone had big room or just was an idiot. they work pretty ok now.
***** k.
Bartosz Olszewski m audio bx5 carbon black monitors will solve the problem
Thanks heapz..bout time I learn instead of flukin it

1:51 *BREAAAATH* bro nice vid but why u sound so nervous? xD
You make so much sense it's not even funny.
Shit. Pure.
Very good, but a guy who knows this stuff and doesn't have a high pass filter on his own microphone to cut off the low-end "pops" for narration surprises me!
I guess I don't have an ear for producing anything. It all sounds the same to me. sigh.
Don't be discouraged, it could be simply the speakers you're listening on? Laptop speakers, phone speakers, cheaper headphones won't actually reproduce many frequencies. Keep listening!

it's been a year, how do you do now?
