When you put it like that you are absolutely right, what a civilised marathon the Stinger is! I will contact the organisers and get them to use that as their tag line!! Steyning Stinger - The Civilised Marathon
@@FilmMyRun brilliant idea 🫶 i wish I'd run in someday. My plan is to watch Back to the Future Musical at Adelphi Theater either in May or in June so would be great to run a Parkrun with you 🤝
I do like your videos. It makes me smile when you say you’re going to run the Steyning Stinger as a warm-up for Paris and do it mainly in Zone 2! 3 hours 45 min as well! I’m running Paris in a little over 3 weeks as well so I might see you there. Good luck!
@@FilmMyRun I'm planning on signing up to the 30k next year, get a feel for it and then hopefully do the Marathon in 25, just hope I can get a place before it sells out
Cardiac Hill - do we do that one in the 3 Forts?? Rings a bell but I definitely couldn’t run up it! Looking forward to running the 3 Forts a week after getting back from Boston - oh see what I did there, just casually dropping Boston in 🤣🤣
Well done, great running. Just shows if well trained and fat trained, you don't need all the drinks and gels. Most of my long runs are fasted and feel fine. I'll try this route on a long run soon.
That's what I call a civilised marathon. Start whenever it suits, the option to switch to a half or 30 k and a breakfast at the finish.

I agree with Tina. It’s all relative but you do make it look easy sometimes. Brilliant work Stephen.

Loved this. Well done chaps. 👏
And great to see my man Stephen!
Thank you Richard!
I want to do this next year, I'm local and never even knew it took place 😤
If you love the South Downs Way and the local trails around Steyning you will love this race. Although a warning that it is usually a mudfest!
