Idk mate, I kind of disagree? I think the channels that host the dash cam compilations should just include context for the video if provided, not include the full story from the individual. Not to minimize the effort that they put in to make the compilations, but they are quite literally doing much less work than other content creators that film their own content and edit etc. the very least they can do (aside from crediting video owners) is edit a response to make it clear what was going on or even leave it out entirely and provide a small personal comment for context.

Idk mate, I kind of disagree? I think the channels that host the dash cam compilations should just include context for the video if provided, not include the full story from the individual. Not to minimize the effort that they put in to make the compilations, but they are quite literally doing much less work than other content creators that film their own content and edit etc. the very least they can do (aside from crediting video owners) is edit a response to make it clear what was going on or even leave it out entirely and provide a small personal comment for context.
