Happy, fun memories lighting his sets of a Saturday night at the Nightingale in Hurst Street and being shouted at by him to "F**king calm the lights down, I'm trying to finish for the night" by him one New Years Eve.
    Gone, but never forgotten.

As far as I'm concerned Tony De Vit was and still is the best DJ.

At that time-frame, early to mid 90s ,he was good. Renowned for.his sound ,he will never be forgotten for the skill he brought to the decks.

One of the very best there ever was. Huge part of my djing journey as a teenager was following Tony and the sound he produced and played. Still think about his sets and music regularly

My best TDV cassette was nicked out of my car so many times, once jumped into a car years later, guy said listen to this, listening to the first two tracks pulled it out ,it was mine. Love you TONY you will find me at the front when I get up there ❤❤

Saw Tony DJing twice, I’d never heard of him first time round, boy how good he was - 2nd time he was on a different level, actually met him after hours when my mate who owned the club asked Tony to come meet us, I’ll never forget his smile !!
    RIP TDV !! Legend 🎶🎶🎶

I had friends who were more into hardcore rave and ultimately I went where the posse went. Rez, Awesome101 etc same with the clubs Fubar etc anyhoo I didnt listen out for other than that and I sure missed out.
30 years on and I make a new friend. Turns out he was a DJ and his knowledge of scene is impressive. Too much to go into but bottom line I stopped going to raves as the scene soured and by the tail end of 94 I quit altogether. Little did i know there was an alternative. Listening to this man is awesome - flawless mixes and reading crowed were just the start of this legends skill set. Hope he is rockin the heavens.

I’m Warren , I will be able to explain hopefully it will be mentioned in his film ?? But don’t reckon it will I’ve not seen it yet all aside though made my life epic to c this has been made about him , but for my knowledge, I’m feeling that no one will mention the main thing what this Dj did , no one else before or till this day has done this one thing that I’m hopeful to see in his movie , i don’t reckon anyone will mention the , Secret of the . PAN leadership , it’s a shame I’m not gonna see this mentioned but if you want to know the real real side message me and il tell you the real magic behind what I got a mixer for to do this with , the only way to understand this is certain mixers he did , and like I mention no one has done this again , you have to but say the Tokyo or the retrospective of house vol 91-96 then u can understand the way of the skills although I’m gonna watch . Who knows but if you ever need to know what he did just ask me , massive love to my hero that died 98 I was young and had d of done anything to know what I know know but been them years ago , massive love Warren ❤

No need to be negative. Norman Cook was very good at what he did. It was a different genre; not your genre; so be it.
