only the vocals ...Notice that there on no mics on the drums/cymbals/overhead. The band are just pantomiming to the studio track while the vocals are sung live
The lead vocals sound live, but yeah, all the instruments and backing vox are the same recordings as on the album. I guess it’s not unusual to do it this way for short TV performances.
kick ass vocals, whitfield was one of the best frontmen of the 90s.

It is live, you can notice when he pronounce words starting with b or p there is nothing to reduce the impact of those letters on mic
Only vocals were live but still vocal backing track in background too. No mics on drums or amps!
only the vocals ...Notice that there on no mics on the drums/cymbals/overhead. The band are just pantomiming to the studio track while the vocals are sung live

The lead vocals sound live, but yeah, all the instruments and backing vox are the same recordings as on the album. I guess it’s not unusual to do it this way for short TV performances.
Is it just me or is he look like he's trying to copy Mike Patton lol
Joshua Fult does look a bit like that, but f you’re gonna copy someone it might as well be one of the best!
