This is solid! I consider myself an advanced Resto Shaman player and I still picked up a couple tips. Well done! Definitely keeping you subscribed. Keep up the great content :).
Yea Gust of Wind is actually one of my favourite abilities in the game... but unfortunately you have to give up so much to get it. Not worth it atm but I hear in the next patch it will be easier to spec into
BgQAfcj78nJtvjmejSqe5Zhm9AAAAAAQAAAAAAgkmkkkk2BKJkiW0SQDkUSIkSSIFAIJBAlkkkcgE There you go. Just make sure you spec into Curse Dispel and Purge if you need it
Any reason why you take primordial wave but don’t take the talent under it that makes primordial wave good? You just use it as a second riptide on a 45 second cool-down?
Hey sodawow, check out my cooldown guide to check out how I maximize pwave with that build. Pwave stamp is at 28:04 on that video ruclips.net/video/vs3yZ50mR6c/видео.html
hey man, i just started pushing for higher keys (atm doing 12~14), and i have 2 questions to clarify my mind: 1 - do you feel like Resto Shaman is weak at healing the entire group when everyone's receiving high damage ? Like a Resto Druid would do (specially if you pug random ppl and your ancestral guidance+Ascendance are on CD). 2 - how much do you heal regularly without using Ancestral Guidance or Ascendance ? Im 395 gs and i keep like 21k/s ~ 25k/s while doing mobs and stuff, unless people start to receive LOTS of damage and i push the emergency button to use either Ancestral Guidance / Ascendance, then my healing goes up to 45k/s ~ 51k/s. Dunno if this is good for this level of gs. Thanks man!
Hello mate, fellow Resto Shaman main here. Im not the greatest (doing like 17-18s on tyrannical + fortified) but just wanted to give my opinion on the questions. Im sure OnlyShams will provide clearer insight but here is my opinion. 1. Outside of main cooldowns, on higher keys where there is a lot of spread damage it can feel like its overwhelming and make you panic. However I feel like we are well equipped with mini cooldowns to help get us through to big ones again (prim wave + riptide spreading into healing wave or NS healing wave if the damage is coming fast, downpour if enough people are stacked enough etc). Learning the different bosses and packs well helps a lot as then you can start to set up for the spread damage, get ur riptides spread before the damage comes, start precasting chain heal etc. 2. HPS is kinda subjective to the situation I ran a 16 SBG the other day and did 19.7k healing because no one was taking much damage, this allowed me to do a ton more dps instead 24k dps. On the other side of that i ran a 14 Temple and people 5headed everything.. finished on 37k hps and only 14k dps because i had to heal my head off to keep people alive. In general your healing stats you've gave seem good to me, keep up the good work!
Hey! Sorry for the response delay. 1. I do not think we are weak at all for sustained aoe healing during high damage, even with ascendance and AG on cooldown. Cloudburst, nature's swiftness, primordial wave, downpour, and high tide chain heals are normally more than enough to get the job done. Check out some of the boss guides I've posted recently and look at the ability tracker to see what I cast in those situations. 2. Not sure off the top of my head but once again check out some of the other videos I've posted for healing meters and ability trackers. The most recent one I posted for 24 Teera and Maruuk is a good example to see hps in high damage situations

That's really great to hear, thanks dude!
I found this extremely helpful, looking forward to see any changes you would make for 10.0.7. Thanks!

Whats the name of the background music you used in this? Its very relaxing!
I’ve come to use Gust of Wind as a crutch, and I need to stop bc the 3 points to get there are just too much.

Goblin Gang!
Great vid! Is it possible to have the import string for your standard build please?
