Thanks for tuning in! We hope you enjoyed our first video. We're pleased with it but we hope to improve the audio and shakiness and all that. Much love!
Yes the audio was a challenge for us on this video. Our next video will be posted soon and we captured much better audio on it. Just like learning to build furniture...there’s always room for improvement!
I was born and raised in San Angelo. My grandfather owned lumberyards in Eden, Paint Rock and San Angelo. Texas heritage has always been important to me. I wish you the best and look forward to some great videos.
Thanks Andy. I love seeing honest videos of honest people. Craft hard work pride in what we do with our hands in how we share with others is a necessity in life. Love the show already. I would love to buy an apron myself.
What a beautifully made film. I really enjoy these types of stories. I hope you two will be successful in your dream and it is everything you want it to be. God Bless. R
What a joy to see hand made stuff, built to last. Made by skilled craftsmen who are passionate about what they do. Don't know much about video or audio but it looked and sounded great to me, keep up the great work. Regards Jim from the UK.
Thank you for this awesome video. I personally cant stand the throw away society we live in today. I fix electronics such as tvs and it amazes me how people would rather throw something away compared to spending a usually around $50 to fix something they already own. Keep up the good work. It's channels like these that inspire people to get off their asses and do something they love.
This was beautify made I am excited to see the other crafts and trades that will be featured here keep up the great work and pleas don't abandon the channel.
Thanks for the tour of the building and adding some of the histories and stories of the former businesses. Much success to you as you put a roof on the building and have business in the location once again.
Professionally filmed, interesting subject, congrats with the new channel, Turned me into a subscriber. Looking forward to more and please follow Jason during his rebuild.
I’m excited about this project. I’ve loved your content for a while I look forward to more of your work behind and in front of the camera. -CutTwiceCraftsman
Great video. I used to live in Leakey. Nice to see someone showing an interest in reviving these great small towns with craft industries. (I've got to get one of those aprons!) Good luck with the new channel.
Thank you. I am subscribed (gladly). Have you watched Raw Craft? This has a bit of the flavour of Raw Craft. Perhaps you could get a few shows in the can and reach out to Balvenie to see if they might like to continue the series? Raw craft was exceptional and something to aspire to. From the looks of it you are on your way to an award winning series. I hope it goes on for a long, long time. Raw Craft motivated me to up my game as a maker, restorer and fixer. I am very much looking forward to your future shows.
I already know this will be my new favorite channel, way to spread the word! Just think, four hundred people didn’t know about this craftsman yesterday!
This is awesome. I'm planning, if I get a chance to, to buy the building my grandfather father started his company in in my home town. I named my company after him (I'm named for him) and I would adore being able to make that legacy come full circle much like your first video. Keep it up! I can't wait to watch more.
Years ago there was a great program I believe on TLC called “Modern Masters”. It showcased wonderful craftsmen and artisans. Looking forward to your new endeavour. Thanks.
Is there a way we can maybe get some sponsors to work with each episode to help the individuals involved. Maybe put out a challenge to some of the RUclips makers to lend a helping hand. Keep it up!!
Have It Made Great video and want to thank you for what you do. Question do you make 2" wide belts. Thank you Andy Rawls for telling me about this site. I will be following..
Supper great loved watching this. And this is just my opinion but I kinda wish it was longer but enjoyed it so much and I think this is a great idea and channel keep it up
Super cool! REALLY looking forward to this channel. I watch your other videos religiously. Bring that I’m in HOUSTON, I really enjoy watching your local work. As the type that like to give a go at things myself, this work and these people are super cool to me. I look forward to your journey. Mike from HOUSTON
That Leather Chair WOW! I must own one until them maybe you and Andy can come up with a cool cane for me? I want something unique. All the stuff I've found is throw away crap adjustable I want something made for me
Wow! Love the new channel! If you’re up for a drive, you’ve got to check out Unruh Furniture in Kansas City, Kansas. Handmade furniture, built to order, built to last.
Their showroom and workshop is incredible too. They bought a 100+ year old church and turned the first floor and basement into the shop (cut out the center of the sanctuary floor so it’s open to the basement) and made the second floor the showroom overlooking the shop. Pretty incredible.
“We don't value craftsmanship anymore! All we value is ruthless efficiency, and I say we deny our own humanity that way! Without appreciation for grace and beauty, there's no pleasure in creating things and no pleasure in having them! Our lives are made drearier, rather than richer! How can a person take pride in his work when skill and care are considered luxuries! We're not machines! We have a human need for craftsmanship!” - Bill Watterson
nice video, and a great story aldo short. it would be nice to see why the crafts person uses some machines, tools, what is his or her background, how he or she got in to this craft, or it ends a bit like so many channels " keep the craft up, send us some money by the fund". I know its on there website and i seen more about the wood side of there craft ( i miss this in the video ) , i've been reading it, but im an older guy who reads hehehe, the younger generation doesnt do this so much, but thats the generation that needs to come in to the craft and start to see why and how and take over. best regards and keep it coming.
Very very good video guys keep it up please👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I personal do not see a need for improvement.

This is a quality video production with great music. Very nicely done and look forward to more videos.
Bravo fellas. "Keep craft alive". I like that. Keep up the great work. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.
I was born and raised in San Angelo. My grandfather owned lumberyards in Eden, Paint Rock and San Angelo. Texas heritage has always been important to me. I wish you the best and look forward to some great videos.
This is so motivating to see someone show such passion and care for tradition and quality! I hope the best for you and your family on this endeavor.
I love everything about this video and the guy you interviewed. Nothing is as good as old fashion.
Thanks Andy. I love seeing honest videos of honest people. Craft hard work pride in what we do with our hands in how we share with others is a necessity in life. Love the show already. I would love to buy an apron myself.

Great stuff guys. Love the concept, you should check out “those who make” for inspiration. It’s an older blog that curated maker videos like this.

What about doing a go fund me to help with the needed repairs! I would certainly back that!
He’s actually doing one! The link is in the description.
Hi love this Andy I love the videos
Love the video but I think ya'll need a lapel mic or something to make the audio less echoey
Nice
Your video is like "Petrolicious" but for craftsmen. Well done. Could use a little more narrative from the person about their story.
I’m “in”... I’d suggest that those who you show in the content, you can list how to contact/support their effort. Thanks
