    Ignore last question, I rewatched the video more carefully & know why it's called a shrink pot...Beautiful workmanship & no distracting music...You do have the patience of Job..Thank you young lady

    In my experience if you make the lid a snug fit before the pot has shrunk it will need 'tuning' to get it to fit after the pot has dried and shrunk. Still great to see someone else's processes, thank you.

    The hook knife you used after paring out the material with a gouge. What make is it? If ya don’t min’ my askin’

      You can make ring gouges and hook blades from old ring spanners.
