I Didn't Expect THAT In Korat! Isaan Vlog [4k]

Korat, Isaan vlog. Thailand. Today I was in Korat and met some friendly Thai girls in the best nightlife area of Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat). The area features many bars, clubs, massage shops and even a local beer restaurant. Isaan is a huge region covering the center north and east of Thailand. Thailand nightlife he is authentic and cheap. If you are currently in phuket, pattaya, bangkok, koh samui or chiang mai and want to explore a new city, you might want to check this city for a few days and escape the tourist mass.

Good footage. Train looks like a cool experience. I've been visiting Thailand for 31 years but mostly Bangkok and I lived in Pattaya for 18 months. First time I've actually heard of Buriram. Looks like some Angkor Wat styled ancient stuff up there.

Thank you very much for your kind words. It can be boring at times but by train it's easy and cheap to go a few days in Surin or Korat. Yes the temples have some Khmer "inspiration" , I also found people friendlier and more authentic there.

How did nightlife in Korat feel compared to the one in Bkk / Pattaya?

Hi! It's the typical isaan nightlife. It's made for Thai people of course but we are accepted. Usually female waitress are way more welcoming (if you're a man).
Some men waiters although may ignore you or make you feel not welcomed (like the guy we see in the video, he didn’t want me to get the table but the woman waitress insisted), so talk to the ladies.
Everyone stay at their table. If a woman likes you she will come to your table to give you a drink or just to toast together. You can try to do it as well .
Very few freelancers. 99%+ are normal people with a 9-5. Some people may try to take advantage of you and think you are here to pay for their table, others will fill your glass for free and invite you to their table.
A few security guards are super welcoming and friendly, shaking my hands and smiling every time since they don't see many foreigners.
I felt that the nightlife in Buriram was more intense and closer to the clubs for Thai people in Pattaya or Bangkok but without the foreigners.

Hi! Yes it is a clean and safe city. Some google reviews report bill scams at a hostess bar nearby so better ask to check the bill frequently in case you go there.
