those 10th gen SI guys are something else like you said they dont know about them and then when they get gapped they are quickly humbled.... i ran a FBO wrx with a tune and sti turbo upgrade we did a 40 roll i thought he was gonna walk me he got me by a bumper when we let out of it lol i love my kia im only running intake, 3 inch custom downpipe and HKS seq BOV
Other than getting 60mpg, GDI are good for nothing... Get a GTI, or GLI. You’ll never look back. Coming from someone who made the mistake of getting a 2014 GDI, and quickly got rid of it.

Don't. Sel it or trade it in. Kia's and Hyuandi are doomed to blow engine after engine. If you wanna keep it, have a performance shop build it. About 6k-8k will support 700-1,000hp

Totally avoided answering how much power it makes. Ive owned one a sonata on stage 3 lap 3 piggy back tune chip and on a meth mix with a hi flow single cat to straight pipe and it went from stock 273hp to 412hp blew the motor twice in one year so it got set aside until i forge internal it. That doesnt look faster then stock tbh they are quick stock bigger turbo then the genesis turbos. The lap 3 tubes plug into the cam n crank sensor so if there isnt a adapter harness there it aint got it.
Till it blows up in 10k lmao...tuning a hyundai/kia is risky business when they cant produce reliable 4bangers stock! Still sweet though and a nice sleeper

Just bought the 2015 gdi and stock i gotta say its fun as **** to drive!

As someone who owns a 13 Turbo, these are ticking time bombs. Already had my engine replaced at 101k. Love the car but Kia needs to figure it out

The warranty does depend though. So if you have a tune you would have to set your car back to the stock tune or else they can deny you.

That’s all a part of the recall, any engine failed will be free replacement.

The lap 3 is a remote tune using a laptop plugged into ecu. Tuned remotely. Car made 330wheel

Don't need it. The lap3 tune is safe as long as you meet the octane and mod requiremnts for the tune.
