*Sorry, but that's ridiculous....what's next ? SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL sampling Tchaikovsky's whole "1812 Ouverture solennelle [ Overture solemn ] op.49", just build in breakdowns here & there...? No, because they come up with their own stuff...* 👈🏼🤔 🎵🎸🥁🎸🎵🔥😈🔥
I had never even heard of Disembodied Tyrant until a few days ago when I saw them in concert. Now Death Empress has become my favorite song of all time (and it's not even a close competition)
These guys are geniuses for taking Vivaldi's Four Seasons and making a deathcore EP out of it. The strings are absolutely ridiculous, super intricate, and it goes so perfectly with deathcore! Great reaction!
This is gonna be a hard EP to beat. Folks are gonna have to puil off something spectacular to even come close. Thank you for the re-upload as well as I love your reactions to full releases and the previous one was a little terrifying lol. So glad you loved it but tbf I had no doubt. As for picking a favourite that's like deciding which eye I prefer lol. Winter absolutely shook me to my core when I finally heard it as i'm very familiar with the four seasons and all the other tracks only had motifs. Then they did the entire Allegro (Non molto certainly does not apply here) which was mind blowing.
The problem I have with this band is that they're really hard to top. He's so freaking talented and every song I've heard since the Divine Stigmata has just been absolute gold. It's really difficult not to base other deathcore bands off of them. Definitely my all time favorite deathcore group
Disembodied Tyrant's EP "The Divine Stigmata" is also really good, and Synestia's album "Maleficium" is solid. However, when these bands combine forces they are deathcore perfection. Personally, I think the bands ought to unite and write a full album. The only other album I'd be more excited for is Wintersun's "Time II" (released next month!!!!!). Although I like Lorna Shore very, very much, I'm quite certain I'd like whatever the combination of these bands would be more than LS. Disembodied Tyrant & Synestia really do write everything I love about deathcore; furthermore, I really enjoy the progressive nature of these songs as they're "through-composed" (with the exception of the repeated statement of the most recognizable part of Vivaldi's "Winter" movement). I don't dislike it, but I do often wish more deathcore bands would break from the verse-chorus song structure. Disembodied Tyrant are especially skilled at that divergence. If you haven't already reacted to DT's "The Divine Stigmata" EP, I think you really should.
Obviously this entire EP is a masterpiece and goosebump inducing, but god damn. The fucking TENSION in 'Winter' makes it stand out the most to me in that regard, personally.
My favorite song of the EP is definitely Winter. I particularly find the section of music following the repeated iconic "Winter" melody to be simply _euphoric;_ it's beautiful metal music, and not just in the sense of "beautiful for a metal song." It's a section of simply beautiful music. I do think "Death Empress" has the overall best ending section out of the 4, although I love the actual terror and shivers I feel when I hear Blake's layered screams on the word "maim;" the vocal production on that is masterful. I really, really hope Baroque-inspired deathcore will be more of a thing thanks to this EP.
In the past, torture involved sewing people into a sack with a rooster, a dog, a cat and a snake and throwing them into the water. That's probably what this sounds like to 97% of people. In a way, it is art. Great.
''totally dethrone lorna shore's ''and i return to nothingness'', I don't like to think like that, especially because ''and i return to nothingness'' is ALSO a masterpiece, and it was on this EP that was an absolute boom for will together with lorna, and they are still there killing, and I don't think This in no way takes away the merit, both EPs have their absurdly high qualities and they are both masterpieces, and I don't even need to say that this is my second favorite EP of all time too, truly amazing.
I ABSOLUTLY LOVED WATCHING THIS A SECOND TIME AROUND WITH THE FIXES :) SEEING YALLS REACTIONS MADE ME SMILE AND MADE MY TIME AT WORK ENJOYABLE THANKS TO YALL! I KNOW IM NOT A PATRON BUT I THINK YALL WOULD REALLY ENJOY REACTING TO OCEANS OF SLUMBER WHERE GODS FEAR TO SPEAK
I was definitely wondering where the reaction was ;) This EP is absolutely brilliant! Been blasting it every day in the car, Definitely a top release for 2024 for sure! Great reactions like always guys! 💀🤘🏻
WOULD BE VERY INTERESTING TO see HOW you react to this NEWLY RELEASED song from a Finnish cello metal band: APOCALYPTICA - ONE feat. James Hetfield & Rob Trujillo (Official Video) Yeah? 😎🤟
*So, basically sampling almost the whole "Winter"-part of Antonio Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" and just adding breakdowns...... What's next....? Slaughter To Prevail going to sample Tchaikovsky's whole "1812 Ouverture solennelle (Overture solemn),op.49" , only build in breakdowns here & there, which they will not, because they and lots of other bands trying hard to write new, own stuff.....instead of using existing melodies...* 👈🏼🤔🎵🎸🥁🎸🎵🔊🔥😈🔥
No that wouldn’t work because Slaughter To Prevail isn’t Blackened Deathcore nor do they have any symphonic elements in their work. Let’s see you to pull off anything close to what Disembodied Tyrant and Synestia did with this EP. We’ll wait.
Hello Mat and Chels, I create that piece originally "Winter" from the Four seasons. ☃Masterpiece of EP.
welcome back from the dead centuries later
My man 🤘
died in 1741, welcome back king of strings
solid proof that vivaldi was a metalhead
this EP is the most important 20 minutes of music in deathcore history
*Sorry, but that's ridiculous....what's next ? SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL sampling Tchaikovsky's whole "1812 Ouverture solennelle [ Overture solemn ] op.49", just build in breakdowns here & there...? No, because they come up with their own stuff...* 👈🏼🤔 🎵🎸🥁🎸🎵🔥😈🔥
*Where's my comment gone ?*
And Pain Remains
@@bibbidybobbidy8959 that is so generic man
@@diegoskm and Reclaimer ?
Winter has a melody from Vivaldi's "Four Seasons"
Which goes to show how seasoned these geniuses truly are.
All 4 songs use the seasons
It's from Vivaldi's Four seasons: Spring, summer, fall and winter :)
Great reaction as always
Keep clawing at the dirt above your head
For this is your tomb
Death encased in ice!!!!
My favorite is Winter with The Poetic Edda in close second, we need more clssical deathcore
Or even more specifically, Baroque Deathcore. 😉
What comes out of this is that there needs to be more full band collab EPs.
I had never even heard of Disembodied Tyrant until a few days ago when I saw them in concert. Now Death Empress has become my favorite song of all time (and it's not even a close competition)
now i have a new group i need to listen more to! this is heavy i love it.

SO HYPED TO WATCH THIS AGAIN AND SEE IT FROM START TO FINISH WITHOUT THE GLITCHES :)

Sure ill watch again 😂 such a deathcore masterpiece.
Death Empress blew my mind and got me excited for the future of deathcore
Been waiting for your reactions 🤘 My new favourite EP of all time, cannot get enough of it.
This isn't something I'd listen to on the regular, but it's seriously impressive and a cool blend of music styles.
"it made me drool", sister I feel you
Winter is definitely my top of this EP, especially since its a cover of the best classical songs ever just hits differently
I'm not sure, but I think the entire EP has samples from Vivaldi's "Four Seasons."
MY DEATH EMPRESS🔥
Thanks for the reupload! Banger reaction to a banger EP 🤘
I dont know why. But i feel like hearing the quick inhale before a breakdown may just be better than a ride bell
Loved this EP so much! You deserve more views! Your reactions are perfect!
Obviously this entire EP is a masterpiece and goosebump inducing, but god damn. The fucking TENSION in 'Winter' makes it stand out the most to me in that regard, personally.
Now that we’ve listened to the EP several times I can honestly say Winter is my favorite as well! - Mat
