This is another set I had. I can strangely recall the day it was bought for me. My day had been awful-my parents were arguing and squabbling with each other(That was very unlike them).Dad got angry with the traffic usually, but he was super mad that day too. I became upset and was worried that my parents might split up! We then drove to Toys R Us where my dad's mood changed. He wanted to buy me the lego Cabin Cruiser as well as this lego police ship as a way of apologizing for upsetting me.I loved sailing the cruiser in the bath and still have it to this day.Sadly my dad passed over 3 years ago-he really was a kind, loving dad.

I don't think the captain's torso is unique to this set. Doesn't it also appear in the Intercoastal Seaport?

when I talk about the minifigs in my videos I review them as a whole and the combination of parts. The minifig in this set is unique because of the parts and does not appear in this combination in any other set. The individual parts can be included in other sets, such as the torso. the torso does come in 3 other sets :International Seaport, for example, but it has a different cap there and therefore not the same. also 6542-1 Launch & Load Seaport and 4030-1 Cargo Carrier. but also with a different headgear or without a life jacket. My apologies that this was not completely clear in the video! so its not the torso that is unique but the minifig as a whole. Greetz Henry

I have just bought an unboxed version of this one and it has no box, stickers or instructions but I got some stickers and the instructions from Austria that will be enough for me to restore this boat I have bought. Just won the 4645 Harbour set from 2011 that has the green freighter that floats as well. I love these floating boats and I am getting a paddling pool to showcase mine but I always smile when I see these boats float. Lego needs to do more of these.

I really wanted this set when I was a kid, and for many reasons, my father couldn't buy it for me in that time. Now with some help of a friend from my work, I managed to buy it in a very good condition. I'm really happy that I finally get it for my collection after many years 🥲 this set represents a dream of my childhood

I have this one and it's such a cool build. I assembled it with a couple substituted windows as I must've been missing the right ones at the time. Today I rebuild (and clean) with corrections :) Somehow I have 2 anchor torsos... I'll have to see if the blue striped one is lurking somewhere in my municipality...

I also thought it was a nice build with nicely chosen accents. As I said in the video, maybe a little more accessories could be added in the hull of the boat. I'm actually not sure if the blue part is supposed to represent a bed or a table? The minfig boatworker is unique in that combination, but the anchor torso with than an other matching hat or pants appears also in 3 other sets. set 4030, set 6541 and set 6542. So you might have one of these three sets without even knowing it! The second minifig with that specific parts is unique, but the parts separately are not that hard to find. a torso with blue lines, white pants, blue cap and a life jacket. Thanks for your comment!

Maybe if you add the motor, get rid of the weight brick inside

yes, I had noticed that too. but this whole setup was completely unsuitable for the engine in such a small bath. I mainly wanted to test whether the boat floated.
Soon I will be doing sailing tests in a larger pool of 2 x 4m and then I will be testing different boats, weights, different engines, etc. Greetz Henry
