Lower correction glasses for all of my closer works
    Active focus
Trying slightly lower power glasses for more distances
    Plenty of outdoor times
    Less on screen
✨ Recovery depends on lighting, diet, stress and most of all close up time and lens use✨

      1) for all the works that could be done without need of correction lens should be done without it
Eg ..while eating food, reading book etc could be done without use of lenses (of u r myopic)
      3) Using ur previous glasses of yours who might of less powers ...(if u hv them with urself)...could be used frequently to adapt ur eyes to that lower power lenses...and then gradually adapted to see without them..

    • @nickflynn439
      @nickflynn439 3 года назад +54

@@generalaccount1568 I followed the Endmyopia basics almost exclusively. Really. I have experimented with some vision therapy techniques (brock string, pencil pushups, etc) partly because I believe those of us who have been lensbound for years probably have been left with some visual cortex issues that can be helped along by some of those techniques (especially toward the end of the journey--the dreaded last diopter). I would also say that making sure your nutrition and fitness are at a good level will help to keep progress from stalling.

My eyesight improved for the first time between doctor visits. My exercise was to relieve tension. While falling to sleep at night, eyes closed, I’d relax my gaze as if looking into the distance. I was also taking walks regularly without my glasses.

When I was in college, I started delaying wearing my glasses until after my morning routine. I also took them off whenever I was in the dorm at night. I used my eyes to get around for about 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours at night - and within a couple of months my vision was better. It was a cool experiment that led me to believe straight up wearing glasses isn't the best thing.

Look into holistic vision improvement. Claudia Muehlenweg has courses of varying lengths (going into varying depths) about vision improvement. She does charge, but my mother, who has experience with holistic practitioners who do similar things, says the techniques seem completely legitimate. Basically, it’s stuff that calms the nervous system and addresses hormones, nutrition, etc. in addition to getting away from the crutches of glasses which progressively make eyesight worse.

This is true. Completely true. Our eyes are muscles. If we don't use the muscles properly, then they get weak. It's just a matter of strengthening them. As proof, I recently had a major eye trauma that made me almost unable to see. When I started to use my eye again, I could literally feel how weak my eye muscles were, to the point where I had to really try hard to even keep my focus upon a single object without my eye dropping. I could feel them straining and then failing, just like going to the gym to lift heavy weights and then failing with that weight... it felt exactly the same. And this was just to keep my eye focused upon a single object without my eye dropping. Once I was able to have control over what I was looking at, I then realized I had the worst vision... everything was fuzzy. I had laser eye surgery years ago to "correct" my -7 vision, so I know all about poor eye sight. But I knew there was no way the trauma to my eye caused my poor vision because the injury didn't affect the eye lens, so my poor vision HAD to be from weak muscles. Over time, I begam to deliberately choose to strengthen my eye muscles by focusing on different things outside and keep my attention upon feeling my eye muscles exercise. I noticed vast improvements within a month. I still have improvement to make, but I'm now hyper aware of the muscles in my eyes and can feel myself allowing them to relax too far and then get them to exercise again to strengthen them. Muscles are muscles, regardless of where they are in your body. And with all exercise to strengthen muscles, slow and steady, my friends... slow and steady.

Yes, you can not fix vision problems by doing exercises, but wearing glasses does not make it worse either. It could look like it makes worse because after you take off your glasses you see the big difference and after you are not wearing for a along time blur vision looks normal to you. There are two myths that I spotted: 1) exercising does improve vision (no, it does not); 2) glasses worsens vision (no, it does not).

I am sooo confused by all of this. Reversing myopia is new to me. A few weeks ago I discovered through RUclips that this could be reversed. I was so shocked. I’ve been having eye issues since I was 12. I was diagnosed with myopia and astigmatism. Got glasses, and when I was in my early 20s I had lasik surgery which “fixed” the problem, but started having other eye issues. Story short, a few years ago my eyesight deteriorated again, and it was back to the glasses.
In one eye I have -0.75 and in the other I have cataracts (which I am eliminating with castor oil). The eye with the -0.75 also needed reading glasses and everything became just too much because I could feel my eyesight getting worse.
A few weeks ago I stop using the phone and the computer, and stopped using my glasses for myopia.
now my close up vision is perfect, I don’t need my reading glasses anymore, but my big confusion is:
Should I stop using the other glasses? They only work for mid distance not far distance… I don’t know what l am supposed to do.

Clear up slightly blurry text at the distance by blinking at it with the right lenses, for example on TV in 3 meter distance. Do it daily for 4 months. In the beginning it will take a lot time to clear up, after 4 months it will take only 1 minute. Then you can switch to lower glasses. Use big text letters to focus on. Use your TV as your computer screen. Buy a test lens kit to figure out what lenses you need for your chosen distance to the TV.

If this is true, then the same should apply to farsightedness. I have slight hyperopia and astigmatism in my left eye (+.75 Sph with -.25 at °120 Cyl) and a normal right eye. I didn't really need glasses, but got them anyway. I had scripts that made my vision clearer, but after two months, found myself closing my left eye to read at the end of a really long or physically taxing day. Then, I broke my glasses and never got new ones.
I decided to do an experiment on myself and bought -1.00 distance glasses online. It took me a few days to adjust, but after that, I could read with them on. A month later, I can even close my right eye and read through my weak left eye with them on. I'm thinking that if I can trigger a slight myopic shift in my eyes, then I'll cancel out my farsightedness and maybe even delay presbyopia. I wear them all the time and like to think of it as strapping weights to my eyes, and it seems to be working. I get no eye strain or headaches, either.

Hey Jake I do practice active focus everyday. I don't have enough money to buy normalize glasses and glasses for close up activity. So I don't wear my regular glass for my close-up activity. Does it help me to get rid of from Glasses?

@@ParamRebari unfortunately you have to reduce your glasses prescription by 1 diopter each time because you can't just discard your glasses and use active focus, this way your brain will give up focusing at all and will worsen myopia

Here my advice go to any high place you can find and look at the furthest objects from you like trees, boards , buildings etc for 7 to 10 mins of course you should blink in between but try to focus on far away objects....and get a good amount of sleep...you should do this daily it will improve after sometime....

However, if you are a teenager and do these your number will go down but still keep rising until you are 20 bcz your eye ball also keeps getting bigger and if ur number is near 0.5 then stop doing eye exercise other you could get hyperopia instead.

That's actually not true. Growing teens and eyeball length is not related.
