It’s funny you can tell at the early days marvel had no idea what ares design would be like but todays era is dope looking I honestly think Scott Adkins should play him in the MCU
Video. He should be used more in Avengers and Thor Comics. Honestly Hercules should have his own comic like Thor does and maybe you'd see Ares sometimes. Another idea for a comic would be God's of Olympus. Notnjust featuring Hercules but covering all the major Olmpyians. They don't get the love Asgardians get. It would be a nice fresh take on the Hercules mythos.

Ares should honestly beat a lot of characters that are even stronger than him due to his tactical mind and battle expertise. Saying he’s a better fighter than herc, who’s a bit better fighter than Thor, is saying a LOT. He gives Hercules a run for his money more than enough and is a complete god in all aspects. He needs more respect put on his name fr fr, dudes a badass

I really like Ares but he is just a herald level dude and sub-Hercules/Thor level,still very strong but nowhere near the skyfather category
People need to understand Skyfathers hold back like that,like FATHERS,the other gods are like children to them and they hold back far more than even the heroes like Thor.Thinking these herald level guys can stand up to them is literally saying a toddler can possibly beat his dad cause the dad isnt serious obviously.
Low Skyfather level is something like Seth(the guy that fought a weakend Odin that could shake the multiverse but got stomped after Odin got his full power back

Ian , BOTH DC & MARVEL have Aries underrated 😕!! He's often viewed as a chaos bringer & a bully like in The God of War franchise. He's viewed as so much more!! Easily should be viewed as the 3rd strongest 💪 deity in Olympus!! Sparring with Hercules is normal butting heads with brothers because of a rich rivalry between 2 siblings. He should be able to fight Thor ( without Mjinor) to a stand still . Should be able to understand EVERY known martial art & military weaponry in existence REALLY . Like Bullseye 🎯 any object in his 👐 is a Lethal Weapon just by throwing it. A military strategist rivaling or seceding Captain America's !! Many writers missunderstands 💪strength 💪 doesn't make U a better martial artist & although when it comes to Super Strong it's a plus ➕ ! In the word ⚡Shazam ⚡I'm replacing Achilles with Aries because Captain Marvel inherits his fighting powers & military 🧠
Ares is by no means on Thor level strength look what Sentry did to Ares and Thor has beaten both Ares and Sentry
Sentrys power varies a lot depending on his mental state.
Death Seed Sentry is confirmed to be Sentry just at peak mental state and NOT amped,he effortlessly stomped Thor in like 3 blows.
Base Thor was never anything to the Sentry at his peak
Sentry at his regular level has had trouble with Ares,Hercules and Thor
He was at a very strong state when he ripped Ares apart.
Ares is kinda inconsistent,he has been portrayed weaker than She Hulk but also nearly on par with Hercules and Thor

I'd actually rather watch/read stuff about those tiers rather than read about cosmic beings tbh! Alot of overpowered characters have alot of plot holes tbh
