Wish i can go back to 70's. He travelled half of the world in a bicycle without any id's to meet his love of his life and took 6 months journey. That's one True Love.

Sadly saying that the place where P. K. Mahandia was born is the most film production country. But the producers don't have the slightest interest to make a film regarding his life which is rarely done by anyone for his love. They prefer to make fictious stories instead.

Based on what I read recently about film making on their story, The family was approached by people from Hollywood and Europe, but the family did not want to sell their story to a third party. Their children are grown up adults now and they are in the process of making a film. I don't have any new updates on that. Hope will see a movie on this incredible family soon.

Its absolutely true. I can confirm this because I lived through that time, I see the vast differences in people's behaviors and preferences compared to today. This guy came to my class in my small county Tranemo about 5 years ago. Was wearing the same suit but didn't have his wife with him. Was sort of like an English lesson because he hadn't taken any interest in the Swedish language.
