16:50 About the experience difference. When a minion dies you get 95% exp while you're solo and 124% (62% each) if you're both in lane. So while yes your adc gors "ahead" is because you're sacrificing your own experience share and in terms of the team you actually fall behind in the long run (obviously if you dont get a lead elsewhere to offset the loss by roaming).
@@Tilterella The 600 gold figure is also a bit extreme. In game 5, you roamed at level 4 which gave up 470-ish gold worth of stats, although maybe with the extra level in a basic ability it makes up the difference. Anyway, assuming you leaving allowing Ezreal to gain the about 50% extra solo XP gave him level 6 early then that's 486-ish gold worth of stats and a level in his ult. Jhin and Nami are levelling up to level 5 and 4, respectively, which would be a net bonus of 526 + 424 = 950-ish gold worth of stats for the other botlane. Considering you made 2 kills happen, giving 600 gold in direct kills and 300 gold in assists, this particular roam is undoubtedly worth it. But in a similar situation, you would only need to make a slight positive difference with your roam to make it worth it. 1 kill or maybe even helping to fix a wave could be enough to offset a small roam, especially considering that you can catch up again pretty quickly and you still have all those stats on the table when you do.
Catch-up XP also exists so it's kinda like you're not gaining some gold in the form of stats, but then getting more gold after to get you closer to where you would have been. Obviously League really prioritizes short-term advantages but still.
to answer your question around 9:30 , braum shield will only block damage before destroying that first projectile. other effects, such as cc or mark, will still apply to you as normal.
@@TheDahaka1 I think the confusion comes from the ability visuals: it looks like it's a mark activated by a projectile, while under the hood the mark is (probably) just aesthetic and all the functionality is carried on by the projectile
@TheDahaka1 eh. sometimes its more a subconscious observation than a conscious one. besides -- usually you think of it as not blocking cc, instead of as not blocking additional effects
When that sorta adc came around I used to leave them 1v2 all game, make sure to spam ping each time they die, flame them to hard run it down so the game is more likely catch on and(hopefully) get some lp back. Than I just do my best to have fun doing a 4v6.
I love how riot is like "she wrote in chat that she will run it down, never groups and only runs into the enemy, totally normal gameplay, morning worthy of a lifetime ban!!"

At 13:50 I can confirm that that situation is the worst for an adc, you might expect an adc to walk up and engage since ur hiding in the bush but they will have to tank the entire minion wave and the enemy champs, so it failed

Hey Tilt I signed up for the SQS and they are not responding to my coaching request. I scheduled it for 10 am today. They're ignoreing my messages and requests for update. Not sure if that company is ready for live coaching services. William and Dyan are ignoreing all messages at this time. I dont reccomend signing up yet. They don't actualy arrive on time, and they ignoire the messages of the persons requesting coaching. I tried to call message and text them via the number provided to see if there were complications trying to be reasonable. Alas they do not respond. I hope this changes as i was hopeing for a stand up coaching service. Hope this helps\changes
Probably been answered, but as someone who plays some Braum, and happily matches into a Morgana, her Q roots if it hits your E. Its fine though cause Morg Q is most of the damage in her kit, and she needs to hit it on a good target, not Braums E for zero damage. Anyway, Braum E blocks the fist instance of "CHAMPION" damage, but nothing with CC.

9:33 I dont play braum, but his e blocks projectiles. You get cc'd but if a teammates is the target then he wouldn't get cc'd since you blocked the projectile.
You still get rooted even through the braum shield. The shield braum shield basically only blocks the projectiles and the first instance of (champion?) damage that are going in opposition of the shield's direction. Aphelios has two projectiles with that gravitum gun. The first which is the auto and applies the root status effect, and the second projectile which happens when they activate the root, which sends the projectile out and on contact it roots. So with the shield, you'd still get hit by the root, but any damage from it may not occur, and your allies behind you theoretically should not get rooted because the shield should technically block the projectile. BUT Riot is pretty inconsistent about some interactions so who knows.

@Tilterella Sure. The first minute of the video is impeccable, with awesome pacing and music coming in and out. The first weird thing is around 1:30, where the explanation cuts fast to a TV screen that lasts no time and immediately jumps to another clip with different music. Imo that's kind of jarring. Then it continues alright until 3:30, where I think it just devolves into brain rot with the game 2 text and sound effect, followed by another swoosh sfx, followed closely by a fart, followed by the like button popup and sfx, followed by the 2 most random sfx with the Talon kill at 4:17. And then, to top it off, a camera shake and a vine boom or something. Music-wise, around 6:30, it gets weird suddenly? Like you move from the sad piano Persona song to a happy, cheerful summer ad for a bit and then back to the sad piano? Idk, that rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe I could nitpick more stuff, but I think this about sums it up. Btw, I really loved the bit at 9:00 when the music gets louder before you get the kill. That is an awesome usage of music!
If I remember correctly if you block the auto that applies the root stack to you then yes you don't get rooted but if you do get autoed before he gravitum qs then you're rooted because its not a projectile at that point

I've gotten back into league of legends about 5 times now, and every time I end up in a spot where I cannot believe I am playing a competitive team based game, on competitive ladder, and there is no voice comms, and I lose patients and quit. its so annoying that you loose YOUR LP just because you have some handicapped ppl in your team (like surrender, afk, feed, what ever) - but what is the solution? refund LP if they get banned? would be too logic i guess. As a support player myself the worst adc’s in my experience are always vayne players. Would rather any other adc

its so annoying that you loose YOUR LP just because you have some handicapped ppl in your team (like surrender, afk, feed, what ever) - but what is the solution? refund LP if they get banned? would be too logic i guess. I like to play off meta, half of game they are just trolling because they say im trolling (while beeing much better then them ofc) And then when you chat, you literally get banned for NOTHING, like answering questions or something, just because they report you. :-D
