Thanks for video. I just bought one. I could not figure load size select. It spins and says Sensing. I assume sensors tell machine load size, weight and how much water to use. It seemed so little, like only enough to wet. It never got soapy and Downy half spill in. Should I water Downy down? Also, mine bigger cu. so since small load is that why it spins with some off balance and slight knocking noise? I thought no way clothes clean but it did great! I super impressed. I've done 2 loads so far. It got so hot that top panel got all steamed up with droplets and glass inside too. Maybe Sanitizer on? What a cool feature! I'm still learning it. I didnt know about power supply issue so do you recommend unplugging? I guess memory (favorite cycle?) is why it needs constant power?
Just got this washing machine and have washed one load of towels. I'm a little more than a tad disappointed so far. Maybe user error, but the water barely covered the towels! The water saver feature sounds good in marketing, but it doesn't get my laundry clean. The manual says not to use the Deep Fill option on a regular basis. Gonna try another load now and see how it goes.
It makes noise at every point it goes through. But my biggest complaint is how little water it allows into the machine. Deep Fill doesn’t always work…hardly ever works, IMO. I end up with the clothes on top of the water, there is so little of it. I agree with you about how the lights come on when you open the lid. That’s annoying. All in all, I’m hoping to get rid of mine as soon as possible. All the fancy sensors are needless. That machine has power over you because you can’t set it how you want it. Plus the noise the agitator makes sounds like it’s being strangled.
I'm sorry to hear that, but if you select a cycle that has deep fill you can press it multiple times to add 3gal of water each time. As for the agitator, our unit is Direct drive. So there's no real grinding sound coming from ours persay atleast nothing out of the ordinary... As for the noise, where's it coming from in the washer? It could either be a belt if it's belt driven or a bearing...
Mine turns on but it drops a little water, and my clothes are not washed at all when the shekel is finished, the clothes are dry, and the washing machine is new
I've gone full washes before and found parts of clothes that never got wet!! Do you have any tips on this besides constantly having to go open the machine and re-adjusting the load? I'm not liking this thing. I wish you could install an agitator to the basket, as feel that would solve the problem
I'd probably suggest washing like items or placing the heaviest garments first. By that I mean lining the tub with the heavy stuff at the bottom and lighter garments on top. Or selecting the proper cycle with a heavy soil level and deep wash.
So, if the tub isn't spinning, the washer stays "unlocked" so you can freely throw a garment in there while its washing. But once the tub engages the spin cycle, the door will lock. The washer is inoperable while the door is open.
Thinking about getting this washer but wanted to make sure I can turn off all the sounds? Also approx how long does it take to start up? And if I put clothes in washer can I turn it off or does it auto turn off after a bit also? Thanks for making this video!!!

Yeah, believe it or not it's always on standby. My old Samsung had to be turned on before operating so it was a bit of a turn off at first. But 2 yrs later and I don't really pay attention to it.
It turns on when you open as a courtesy. Because how long do you really take to load the machine anyways. The dryer doesnt do that as a courtesy to kids jumping in dryers i guess and accidentally locking the door and starting. Just my opinion. Nice video by the way.
I just got this machine and its nice really nice i like it BUT lint is my biggest promblem i feel like it doesnt wash my clothes is that just me not knowing how to wash clothes or my machine not acually washing please HELP ME !!😫
I have had my for about a year and now it doesn't drain on all cycles and will not balance in the drain and spin. Do you know what I may be doing wrong?
Lissa, have you tried to repositioning the garments in the washer after it rebalances the tub and goes into the second spin? As for the drain pump you may want to unplug the unit wait 2 minutes then plug it back in to see if the drain pump motor drains the water on those cycles. Otherwise, you may have to set up service on the computer module or pump motor. :/
So the model below this one, Model GTW465ASNWW is a 4.5 cuft top loader with a traditional dual action agitator that has your load size settings. This particular doesn't offer it because it goes based on weight.
If the washer has dirt in it, consider vacuuming the dirt to not damage your drain pump motor. Otherwise, if the clothes is dirty consider pret-treating, upping the detergent amount, changing the temp to cold to not bake in the stain and select the proper cycle.
Itll spend a minute spinning to balance the tub. I would suggest that you help the unit out by balancing the tub by distributing the clothes evenly throughout the tub.
Just had the GE installed. Read directions.....It spitzed some water in then again. Then it started to spin then stopped.....and sat humming...I cannot get it to work. @ hours of my time wasted on this. Can you show run the GE for me? Maybe I missed something. @@borregoimages8117 Thank you for your response. Finally figured it out. On the newer machines, after you place your clothes in the washer...and hit start...it spritzes a small stream of water...then it does it again - It then starts to spins the clothes then stops. After about 30 seconds or so, it then starts the full cycle. Yeah, I like this machine. It's almost been a year (black friday) and no complaints. It's quiet, tons of washing options, direct drive, large tub, button based (not thermal). If I could do it all over again, i'd consider front loade Samsungs if you have the room ( i didnt) or maybe the maytag with the 4.8 cuft top load washer with agitator and Direct drive. Those would be my 2 options.
I have tried everything to get a deep fill, holding down the button and it only fills a little bit, my clothes don't even get wet and I can only put in 4 items of clothes in it. So far worst machine I've ever had.
I've had similar issues with mine. This machine is very unpredictable when it comes to filling up to the right water level. Also the washer won't let you change any of the settings once it runs a few minutes into the wash cycle. So if you need to add more water to the rinse, you have to pour it in with a bucket. It's supposed to be a set-it-and-forget-it washer but I wouldn't dare leave it alone to operate. It is easily the worst appliance I have ever bought.
You don't hold deep fill down you press it after every addition of water. So press it let it fill. Then press it again. Then press it again until it looks like the desired amount of water.
I bought this same washer about 2 weeks ago because of the capacity ,HOWEVER that " DEEP FILLING " is driving me crazy , I can't figure out how to use it.
@@danascynthia2360 I did, kind of. You must be aware that not all washing settings have the Deep Fill option. For example, the quick wash does not give you the option however, the color cloths will deep fill. Another thing, the deep fill does not even full half of washer so you would have to press the Deep Fill several times. Every time you push that bottom, the deep fill is only 3 gallon per push.
You know, unfortunately I dont have that feature on my Washer. But, in the past with my Samsung I would have downloaded the app that Samsung recommends from their Owners Manual. And then from there I could diagnose my issues by simply scanning the code on the display. Take a look into your owners manual, see if there's a specific app they recommend.
It's not a true sanitize cycle like LG and Samsung products have with steam. All you're doing is just adding Oxi directly into the tub and telling the machine there's oxi in there.
If you press the deep fill before the cycle starts, it increases the water by 3 gallons above the water level the machine decided on. If you press the deep fill button again while the washer is in the middle of the wash cycle, it will add another 3 gallons of water to the wash. If you press and hold the deep fill button for 3 seconds before the cycle starts (this will also work when the machine is in the middle of the wash cycle) it will add 26 gallons of water in there, which is at the top row of holes of the tub, but that is as high the water level will go. Deep fill is available for all cycles except colors (normal), and sanitize with oxi.

They actually are pretty quite to be honest. We owned Samsung prior to this and they're different units but the GE is not "noisy" its still a direct drive motor not belt driven with 850rpms on the spin cycle. If you balance the load it should function smoothly.

Thanks, my deep fill comes on ONLY with bulky option only.... I'm totally confused
@@danascynthia2360 This video helped me understand better the Deep Fill option. . . . ruclips.net/video/iRrUwQwqzA4/видео.html
That washer turning on when you open the lid is like a car ignition turning on just because you opened the door
I agree wholeheartedly. It's silly to nit pick but it's kinda irritating. Lol thanks for watching!
Does delay option runs the washer automatically after selected hour/time?
Yeah, you're pretty much running a self timer for 1-24 hours.
Does anyone know how to set up the Wi-Fi set up
You know, unfortunately I dont have that feature on my Washer. But, in the past with my Samsung I would have downloaded the app that Samsung recommends from their Owners Manual. And then from there I could diagnose my issues by simply scanning the code on the display. Take a look into your owners manual, see if there's a specific app they recommend.
How can i get more water in machine never enough.
Try running Bulky with Deep Fill.
Is the oxi just oxygen?
It's not a true sanitize cycle like LG and Samsung products have with steam. All you're doing is just adding Oxi directly into the tub and telling the machine there's oxi in there.
The softener doesn’t drain in mine.... what could that be
Select deep rinse to dispense the softener.
@@borregoimages8117 i have the same problem even after hitting deep rinse :/
Same here! Deep rinse no longer dispenses the softener.
How can i reset
It could be as small as rewiring the washer with a new 110 cord.
How can I cancel a load
A couple of different ways, you can can switch it to drain and spin or rotate the dial during the fill stage and select what you want.
Not a video on how to start it lol. Takes forever for washer to start up
Yeah it does the sensing thing first. But whatever, its just trying to sort and balance the tub.

Not even a minute in and I had to close it. Subscribe? No thanks!
Thanks for watching! ☺️
i can not get the softner to be used ever
Make sure you have the deep rinse selected. Otherwise the FS will just sit there.
@@borregoimages8117 ok ill try that now my sister got the exact same issue ill try it now thanks
I'm having same problem even with deep fill on
What deep fill can do? Is It help to clean clothes better?
If you press the deep fill before the cycle starts, it increases the water by 3 gallons above the water level the machine decided on. If you press the deep fill button again while the washer is in the middle of the wash cycle, it will add another 3 gallons of water to the wash. If you press and hold the deep fill button for 3 seconds before the cycle starts (this will also work when the machine is in the middle of the wash cycle) it will add 26 gallons of water in there, which is at the top row of holes of the tub, but that is as high the water level will go. Deep fill is available for all cycles except colors (normal), and sanitize with oxi.
Mu washer doesnt work
Why doesn my detergent ghetto of in the clothes
Using too much detergent and not enough rinse cycles (wrong cycle)
My lavadora no trabaja
Y es exactly like this
All that and you don’t get into the wifi ugh
This unit doesn't have wifi connectivity, ugh.
Spin cycle is horrible . The rebalancing is ridiculous . Wastes water and time and comes out soaking wet half the time .
where does the bleach go
Bottom left corner where it says for bleach liquid only.
@@borregoimages8117 mine doesn't have any words but there is a gray piece with a hole in it on the left corner, also one on the right corner too though.
Gotcha, its the bottom left one.
@@borregoimages8117 Thank you so much!
If the machine says sanitize with oxy the machine does not have a heating element. This is A ge scam
Please explain
Explanation please.
Ge machine makes to much noise and they don’t put in enough water
They actually are pretty quite to be honest. We owned Samsung prior to this and they're different units but the GE is not "noisy" its still a direct drive motor not belt driven with 850rpms on the spin cycle. If you balance the load it should function smoothly.
@Frank and Radhika Review I balance the load. The washing machine is no good
The Colors cycle (normal) is so stupid! Trying to wash a huge load of laundry with only an inch or 2 of water! It wrecked my king size comforter and a few pieces of clothing!
@@LoveMissStephee Exactly. That’s what I said to Frank and Radhika. This wash machine is garbage and it is a shame for something like this to be built in America.
Español
Very bad washing machine it will close your clothes it will not open if it have problem it very bad i change it two time and i come back to old washing machine with agitator which is the best of GE
I happen to think that it's a VERY good machine. I've had it now 2 years no problems and clean clothes.
Junk, worst invvestment I ever made.
Sorry to hear. We love ours.
You're not alone. This thing is a big disappointment.
@@r.p.9198 you wanna know a bigger disappointment, this machine can't even do spins between the rinses! Spins between the rinses are very important because these spins help get more of the detergent out of the clothes before the rinse, thus equaling a better rinsing performance.
You talked too much
LG is awful I’ll never buy one, kenmore elite I had was actually a LG and the motherboard burned out in a year now I’m upgrading to this I hope.
In november we'll have had this unit for a year. We havent had any issues with it thus far.
THE BODHI12345
How do I rinse it for more time without it adding more water
Where it says, warm rinse, extra rinse, deep rinse. It won't add more water it'll just recirculate the same water.
I bought this new set and when I plugged in
my dryer it just blinks and doesn’t start . Has anyone had this problem ??
I have not. :/
Did you get it fixed?
