yes that's what I just commented! it's sad to see them getting to be old men lol. I'm so glad that I learned to love them when they were indeed gods and were full of fire. they were outstanding back in the day. respect to them though. so many good times with their music.
Listening to my Walkman back in the 80’s. Riding the TTC back and forth from TO to The Beaches. When my parents moved. Thoroughly enjoying Love and Rockets. My fave is Haunted. You can’t get much better than that ‼️ 😊
I was at Toad's Place in New Haven, CT to see The Dandy Warhol's. I was at the back Bar having some beers before the show and these artsy/indy/vintage dressed group showed up. It was the band itself and the place was empty. We talked and drank many beers. They gave me tickets to see Love & Rockets at Irving Plaza, NYC, since they were the opening band. What a fucking show. Simply amazing. Super cool..
I road to Canada with strangers to see them around 1983 - at the Commodore's Ballroom with a dance floor over tennis ball floor - great show - on the way home - the ride from Hell.
Planning on recording a cover of this song to pay tribute. Seminal album from a seminal band. They rose like a phoenix from the ashes of Bauhaus. Bought tickets to see them at Hamilton Place 30 + years ago. Daniel Ash was sick and they couldn't do the show. Regretted never seeing them live. Played in 80's cover band and we ALWAYS payed tribute to. Brilliant ... Simply Brilliant Band!
First heard this song from the Kevin Bacon movie "shes having a baby" circa late 80s soundtrack.. wasnt a bad flick but the soundtrack was spot on, like love and rockets ever since, and if you havent heard the extended studio version of this, you should.
I bought the soundtrack cd when it came out...still have it and still listen to it, great soundtrack! Takes me back to 16 when I was working at the movie theater :)
I remember reading somewhere that the band moved to California and feeling supremely gratified. Then, never caught any of their shows. More an issue of problems than of the criminal negligence it was. This song speaks directly to me. This live performance is electric, I am cursing my stars.
Excellent! Thanks for posting, was never really that keen on L+R, but regardless what my opinion of them is, before they were L+R, they were three quarters of Bauhaus & for that reason alone they can do no wrong (well almost) in my opinion. Bauhaus Fucking Rock. Although there are loads of great bands & artists of all sorts out there, producing lots of really good kick ass music, I still think Bauhaus, if they appeared today, would still be as cool as fuck as they were in the late seventies and
I am seeing them August 9th in Sandiego 2024. Opening for Jane's addiction although I am beginning to think it should be the other way around the way Perry Ferrel is sounding more and more like Frank Sinatra.
I hate seeing them play in the daytime in front of an unappreciative audience that knoweth not the gods before them.
IKR wholelottalooza's
This guy gets it ☝️

Lollapalooza = Loser Fest. Real music fan's don't attend. Long live Love And Rockets!
Beautifully put.

Cool story, bro.

Their music has a certain melancholy atmosphere. Love all their albums!!

The 'She's Having a Baby' Soundtrack is, as the youngsters say, "Fire"
Who out there put this on a cassette for some girl who just never understood what you would have done for her?
Murdered her while listening to "love me"
@@xiiixiii337 what??????
I think this song shows how men fall in love with a woman, which is a very different thing than how women 'fall in love' with a man.
you are wonderful tgenlemen always
Wow, what a great video! Thanks for posting it.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANIEL ASH!
I remember reading somewhere that the band moved to California and feeling supremely gratified. Then, never caught any of their shows.

David J lyrics are what's haunting.
My favorite part is when Daniel Ash kicks the fan to the curb.
awesome job!
This drummer is adorable
Sounds like my drunk neighbors, Sad...
You're welcome!

Fantastic band- bringing Bolan a bit further
re: crowd. it's 90 or 100 degrees and high humidity outside.people are into the show. look closer at body language.
❤
they should not be playing in the afternoon! they should have one of the headliners. swaying in the dark
✨ 💜 ✨
When you go to a festival expecting to have a great time and come away suicidal
The good ol’ days before smartphones flooded the crowds of people & people were engaged in the moment
Haunted
Hi

Do Love And Rockets still exist?
MJ H Kevin Haskins, Daniel Ash & Kevin’s daughter (an artist in her own right) Diva Dompé are in PoPTONE; saw them last year ✌️

I am seeing them August 9th in Sandiego 2024. Opening for Jane's addiction although I am beginning to think it should be the other way around the way Perry Ferrel is sounding more and more like Frank Sinatra.
6:47 and this is why bass guitars should have frets people
Песня мощная
daylight and this venue just feels off..it needs to be played in a 15th century church on a foggy night, goth it up the wazoo.
Bass up!

yea.. lsd..
The Guest brought me here.
I like it but its missing something- not as powerful as original off of Express
Probably because it wasn't on Express. It was on Seventh Dream.
SLC Punk 2
aaaaaaaaaaaah this is so saaaaad.
Love the band but this sounds horrible.
This audience is non deserving...sleeping cattle

Sounds like a bad cover band. The studio version is the shit tho
