No autotune, no backing tracks, no back up singers, no fill-in musicians. Just three boys up there, knocking out songs they wrote decades earlier. Solid performance.
A very nice set. Thank you. Great band, very underrated. This is live, no tricks or gimmicks, pure raw energy..
I wish I could love this a million times...so fucking good. I saw them on the Express tour and was right against the stage while my head exploded watch Kevin play Yin Yang. One of the most amazing experiences at a concert...ever.
Kevin or Dan ?
I saw them open for The Cure in '89. Triple bill actually, they played before The Pixies before The Cure. I never had worse seats in an 80,000 capacity U.S. football stadium in my life, like 10 rows from the very top but totally worth it to be there!
I would of been there. Great line up.
I was there! Such a great lineup
I would have paid with blood for that show...😊
Yes that was a great show .I'm not sure what is going on here though
What a lineup!
I was there. Perry Farrell and Etty and Stephen Perkins were backstage with me.
Nice! Lucky timing?
Just something about these guys.. Very underrated..
Really digging this Re-visitation of their early first album songs in the first part of the set. So stripped down and un-abashedly Rock n Roll. Always loved these boys, so great to see'em Again. xox
Omg that interviewer was wasted. I love you guys, I had no idea that you had played recently.
wow!! this is a great set by one of my favorite bands. definitely blown away that they are able to channel the surging energy of the original songs. sounds blastastical.
Una de las bandas mas chingonas del planeta
SI.Si. SI. Senor..
I bought this on DVD in the early 90's... along with others..
Your Jams Made Ditchn School , So Fun...
What happened to being at the endless party..... Long Live The 1990's...
always my favoutie band in the 1980's, 51 now. .... obviously we are not in Hell yet, but we are certainly on our way... home sweet Hell... I love Pete too, Bauhaus, these boys are the music of bahaus
Alcohol is your Yoooooga Bayyyyybeeee!🖤🖤
YES!!😸😸😸
Going to fly to Atlanta to see L&R for the first time LIVE this June 2023...never thought I'd get the chance. Not coming to FL? I will come to you...wonder if they'd sign my Haunted Fishtank VHS tape. :) XOXOXOXO
Good for you!! Seen them 4 times, will be seeing them again in Chicago in June. Definitely try to get the Haunted Fish Tank signed- ENJOY!
The show is incredible … but that interview with Arquette was rough.
She's fucking annoying!
She was high A/F .
She knew nothing about them. And give the guy some space, ditz girl, sheesh.
This is amazing, one of my favorite bands!!
I saw them at THE ACE HOTEL a few months ago ... 80's vibes all night ☠️
I was wobbling:( Now? I'm rocking:) Thanks Rock101!
Brutales!!
Crazy loud! Love this sound. Im actually wearing a Love And Rockets Express shirt right now. Still fits me at 53 years old and the shirt is about 35 years old. 😂
love the final show song , Ying and Yang!
Yessss, and The Bubblemen showed up !
Wow, this was so good. I love Love and Rockets, and what an incredible show.
Long-time big fan of L&R. This is a great setlist. While there were moments of being a little out of sorts and this not being their best performance, there is also the familiar brilliance shining through on particular gems that showed they still can carry the torch, especially during the second half of the show. American Dream is still such a great song. IMHO, I think their vocals could have been adjusted a bit differently. Overall, this is an enjoyable concert outing. Check out their earlier concerts from the '80s too.
Great performance thxu
Gracias por compartir . Graaandessss. ....
The boys still got it.
Always. Had the pleasure to see them & meet them back in the 90's in the East Village NYC.. Epic show. Classic Lads.. One for the ages...
Thanks for posting! This set was even better than I remember it!
Dog end of the day Holy SHIT!!! Thank You
For anyone distressed by how out of tune David J's bass is at times in the middle of the set, stick with it because the last three numbers more than make up for it. in fact the last three numbers might make up for most of the world's ills.
The video freezes on No New Tale by the way...
fretless
I agree with the point. It's rockanroll. If he liked how it sounded on at the moment, so were the chorus later, ad so what? The gig was superb. And if you liked, it's alright!
I think they were all out of tune .In fact I'm not convinced thàt was even Daniel Ash!
One of my All time favorite bands. Too band they don't seem to want to tour again.
This concert was well worth the entrance cost.
WOOOOOO HOOOOOO !!!! WOOOOOO HOOOOOO !!!!
❤ AND 🚀🚀 !
the real geniuses !!
Seeing the reception they get here, it’s little wonder they never returned to the UK, where the music press derided and mocked them mercilessly. Shame that their UK fans missed out on their later performances.
AKBrechin why did the UK press deride/mock them?
Tomb Land Also wondering. Maybe they didnt like new sound because of where they started, Bauhaus.
I see em in london yrs ago a couple of times & thought they sounded remarkably like the vinyl. Can't remember the venue but i do remember being constantly being hassled by the security to sit down!!!!
@@HiGlowie because they're technically not that great as musicians or all that original in the UK. They were always far more popular in the states.
Nice to see this video, seems a bit better than the other show they did at Lollapooza the same year.
great band!
one of the greatest bands ever and way better than some well known pop bands that got greater hits but got off the track shortly after
Comin' on like Moses.Sometimes, when its music, ya feel no pain.
Um som muito fixe...
what a amazing intro ......
come on mama - do your homework before an interview ....lol Great show - finally got to see them "live"
REALLY! That was a spoonful of DUHHH! I mean, BAUHAUS? Anyone? Anyone?
Reminds me of the bird that interviewed The Cure before their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction...😂
“Could you live without music?” By far the dumbest MUSIC interview question ever!!!
wow, really professional interview at the start there, give that lady a raise, very insightful
Rosanna.....no lie..the song with that title was about her....by Toto.....She was in Desperately Seeking Susan movie..with Madonna also!
I know, why bother? I was expecting her to ask him where he gets his ideas from.
@@TheChadTI I...think them up?
So I'm not the only one that thought she was dim.
this girl has clearly no clue that she is talking to a member of Bauhaus !! a legendary and under rated band
Night music/red=tho rainbird favorite. Jesus' cool
I Feel Speed / Holiday on the Moon
I kinda forgot about L&R. As a Bauhaus fan I wasn't super into the pop-ness of L&R but I saw them live in I wanna say '87. Small club, in San Francisco. Sooo good. Became a fan afterwards. Still like Bauhaus better.....sorry Daniel
HEY HEY!!!!!
Man they were still tight
So relevant even to this day but someone should make a sequel and call it Ball Of Corruption because that's what the world is today.
love the rockets
autenticccc
41:30 holiday on the moon

What a nive performance!
muted the hit? 😮💨💔🚀🚀🚀
Not sure i would have wanted to be tripping balls when the bubble men came out
aloof my mc vewers,r loving this 1,,,,,,,,,,,z
She thinks So Alive is off their 1st album..?
😂
wow...how clueless was she about the band...
Oooh! it's a bit of a ropey sounding gig. I'm sure if I were there with a few beers in me it'd sound ok.
Yeh, I mean I know they always had an off kilter sound...like dramatic tempo shifts and odd rhythm patterns in a lot of their songs, but this all sounds like they’re intentionally playing off beat. Like on every song!
did she not know who he was?
Can we get a song list to such a great set
just do it
Damn that was awkward interview lmaooo
Yin & Yang/The Flowerpot Man wasn't a smooth operation
41:27 Roger Waters was there? 45:32 Syd Barrett
Audio quality sukks
Why is the body important to you? Where did sexy come from? One focused on the body, not seeing the heart. Love is alone union of the heart, the body mostly gets in the way and confuses the heart most.
Sounds like they just mailed this one in. Too bad.
My goodness horrible interview and she obviously does not know anything about the band..13y ...really..?
2:51
Bauhaus minus one.
Don't lick castrate me!!
No... so i live????? WhatsApp!!!!
Toss
They sound like crap here. Too bad. They were so off the hook live in the 80's it was ridiculous.
Saw them in London..in 1988!
This was Raw... and like 20yrs after they made this stuff...
Yeah, they didn't care.
Z
pathetic journalism
wow a little practice might have been advisable gents. Sound terrible
you can do better? this was just the 3 piece band version... It was three guys jamming, that's it, and having fun...
Buy there albums if you want perfection, Wanker!
Love and rockings? GTFOH.
boo. yhe worst set. ever
video freezes up during no new tale to tell. may need to be re-uploaded
