It actually made me figure out why British have a tooth problem commonly called Fucked Up Teeth Disorder.

Rotterdam is such big port because they transfer a lot of goods for the Ruhr area in Germany. Rotterdam is such big port because they transfer a lot of goods for the Ruhr area in Germany.
Ships can unload/load in Rotterdam and goods are then transported by smaller ship over the Rhine, by train or truck and some liquids are transported by pipelines.
Thats what made Rotterdam into a top 10 port in the world.

Car-centrism is inherently ableist, whether it's intentional or not. Disabilities exist, coal be damned. Were the ableist nature of anti-bicycle policies actually brought up more often, more people would be willing to accept that things need to change. People who can't drive wouldn't be considered as much of a 'burden' to society if said society were designed to accept us.
