@@Zelchinho u target lower hp targets for either runes procs or just guaranteeing the kill, as jinx had much higher hp it was less likely to kill both, by killing the lower hp target it turns the fight intona 2v1 asap, if naut also targetted annie it was gonna be a double kill

If Ezreal was released today, people would say that having such a high range spammable Q with low cd E should be deleted from the game. People are just used to play against it.

His Q has proven to be gamebreaking on multiple occasions over the years and people have been pointing that out. But he doesn't actually pose a kill threat without getting into auto range and the poke is very much dodgeable and bodyblockable and the damage is nothing extreme without the Ez being fed, so he doesn't feel anywhere near as unfair as some more recent abominations, just annoying
It happens all the time. Old champions are fine, new champions are bad. "Back in my day League was fun, now it's trash".
Imagine Caitlyn now. Longest range autos, Q for poke and great waveclear, has her E for mobility which also procs her passive for basically double damage, her traps proc passive and are great zoning, undodgeable R that deals tons of damage and is point and click.

Ezreal was strong before the 2 ad buff, I think it just drew some people's attention back to the champion.
Riot always does this. Forgotten champions are not picked by pros, even if they are strong because they are.... forgotten. The +2 AD is a decent enough buff, but it won't break him even if it was strong, but it just gives a nudge to pros to try Ezreal again.

agreed. one auto attack difference is more impactful than the dmg the buff gives added up throughout the lane phase. it's just a placebo buff.

I never thought ezreal was difficult until I tried playing him, definitely changed my mind the champ isn’t easy at all, glad to see he got buffed
He requires patience which is something people lack.
but ezreal now is easier than before, the mini rework helped him a lot
hardest part it's most of his damage in skill-shots. Miss 1 Q minus 500-700 damage
quite honestly for me he is the easiest adc he requires far less skill in spacing/kiting and it just needs you to have good aim and predictions for the enemy's movement (well to be played fully its still better to kite while using autos and skills as well for the best damage but in most teambattles that wont even be an option if the enemy has good cc)

I'm happy to see superserver ezreal is an aggressive ez player. Too many people (especially diamond and below) play him passively and rely too much on Q. Yes his Q is broken if can land consecutively, but his auto's is what makes him OP.

Forgot where I heard this from but the best Ezreals play on the fine line of life and death. His play style works as he aggressively maximizes the greatest damage potential he can do and uses E and flash as his two repositioning tools not as escape tools. No sane ezreal player would ever flash in to do the highest damage potential to make a play but if that ezreal player is highly perceptive of his E ability to reposition, the play can be justified. If you’ve ever seen a scripting ezreal, they frontline the highest damage possible to bait the enemies while churning out max damage. If a player can emulate a scripter with perfect synchronous weaving of his Q ability and auto attacks with QSS, cleanse, E, and flash, the possibilities are endless. How would the enemies track his cleanse and QSS cooldowns as well as guess how he’ll reposition? Will it be cleanse E flash? Cleanse QSS E? It’s nearly impossible to track. All in all, HanQL has the mechanical prowess to frontline while utilizing infinite repositional capabilities like a scripter

I think he just right clicks it to attack. Raptor comes to camp = gets close to wall = is in Ezreal’s auto range = Ezreal autos it. I wouldn’t trust this spectator view, he might see it for a second

How is ER + Navori?
2 ad is not a huge buff, every trade or fight you would have won earlier you still win and every trade you lost you still lose. End of game you might get like 800 damage increase in total damage done but the change did literally nothing
I think the reason 2 ad is a good buff is specifically because of the way this guy plays ezreal. Most ezreals are QQ spammers in the back who dont really use the increased attack speed and damage efficiently.
2 reasons as stated in this video. 1 is specific to high elo ezreals like deft, viper and especially HanQ in this case is that they tend to weave in more auto attacks on the champion. There are plenty of examples in this video of HanQ weaving in autos after every spell which adds up to about +10 to +15 damage on its own in early game trades. However if that was all then it wouldnt really seem like that big of a buff.
However the 2nd reason why this base ad buff is good is that this directly affects the damage of his q, as well as directly impacts the damage modifier of his sheen items. So it isn't just the +10/+15 but its also a lot larger than that factoring in that it affects both his item spikes as well as his early laning.
Think of it like this, all this added damage doesnt just help with trading, it also helps with clear speed, which allows him to have better back times as well as roam times so it does help. By how much? no clue as its hard to gauge how much it impacts that kind of stuff but what matters is that it does. Even being able to clear a wave 1 to 2 seconds faster is noticeable.

He goes full dmg auto after skill now instead of crit since he got buffed, the guy is excellent in weaving autos
because reaver->manamune->duskblade just better
the difference in DPS of essence -> navori vs essence -> manamune is striking. You do get the benefit of the navori CD passive but you get enough ability haste from manamune + 3rd item which is usually Duskblade or Seraldyas which are great AH items. The crit bonus damage on abilities is alright (8%+ at 40% crit chance) but doesn't compare well at all to the DPS from manamune. you could go greedy and buy manamune into navori 3rd item. but then you also have to buy duskblade/noonquiver item and seraldyas for 4th and 5th. seraldys 5th item just seems too far away. game will probably be over by then and it's bad to delay armor penetration after 3rd item imo. also you leave no room for defensive options so yeah navori just seems unnecessary.
why have so much DPS ego build. just get a maw or guardian angel instead of bigdick navori. not taking damage is also dealing damage. i prefer going trinity because it allows me to play aggressively while still being comfortable. also has an extremely solid build path that synergizes extremely well with ezreal's kit. noon-quiver or duskblade builds are just too precise in positioning for me so I can't dish out all the potential max dps that I want to especially if they have assassin/mage carries on the enemy team.
the amount of health you can get from trinity as well as item options that synergize well with the trinity build compared to others is just too good (Maw, Frozen Heart, Titanic, Black Cleaver)
I tested trinity builds vs duskblade/noonquiver builds hundreds of times in practice tool and the difference in DPS in all the item powerspike stages aren't at all that different.
several of ezreal mains like ACE Ezreal and Drugdar who are challenger players always say that there is no best ezreal build. it just depends on your playstyle.
but I do think navori without the manamune build has fallen off quite a bit in the meta. manamune just way too op with the shock passive

This is the definition of a placebo buff...
It might seem that way but in the early lane it is about a 3% buff to damage (not including the armor buff). Put into perspective Coup De Grace has 8% but only under 40%. It's the equivalent of starting the game with 70 more gold worth of AD.. for free. Sure it might not always make a difference in every single game but over time it's just a net positive all the time.

I very much doubt this buff does much and just a placebo buff to make pple remember ezreal is still a champion.

The 2 ad has helped me with farming and getting more positive on trades. Feels really strong.
legit placebo. most of the time when u miss cs, it's because your minions hit it before you. not because you hit it too early. the 2ad buff would not help you in last hitting in those scenarios. getting more positive on trades is pretty bs as well. he states "10 extra ad in a 5 auto trade!!" bruh. supports get better damage buffs on single spells.

@@bluerum896 bruh Riot had to implement the 5 HP execute minion mechanic to starting items back when it was changed because people constantly miss cs with the miniscule AD loss. It's not placebo at all. I've had a lot of times where I miss a minion by a 1-2 HP. The 2 AD definitely helps.
@@bluerum896 doesn't feel small to me. It helps in nearly every aspect of the early game in some way, which helps you get to your 2-3 item spike easier.

as a plat ez one trick, the only weird things in this video were how much better his supports were. Pretty much all of this is standard gameplay
His gameplay seems normal because this is not as "flashy" as other adc kiting gameplay which requires high mechanics. But constancy in skillshots, spacing, knowledge and lot of details are what makes him just better at the game than others. And Ezreal players truly need that to be relevant in front of hyper carries like Jinx and else.
