Jackal Fox how much of the Helios tones live in the atma? I love the Helios but feel the atma is way more practical for club gigs where stage volume is concerned
So nice to hear the actual sound and not the background crowd noise in between the banter well done PG for that, the amp sounds killer also helps that they used a guy who can actually play to demo it.
Bogner hits home runs again! Been using Bogner amps for about 10 years now (Ecstasy Classic head and Shiva combo) and just picked up the Ecstasy Red pedal. Combined with my Fender Princeton Reverb the Ecstasy Red pedal is amazing! Helps me so much when playing out and have to use some backline amps. Highly recommended!
Okay fellow guitar nerds- can anyone confirm that the demonstrator here "Irwin Thomas" is actually Jack Jones formerly of Aussie band Southern Suns? I think it is
That guitar is KILLER!!! I've been begging for one ever since the show.. :) Avi Shabat.. Builds a great guitar and does a KILLER set up!! Plays like a dream!!
Yes, to me, it looks and sounds amazing. I love the overall look and specs and the big paddle headstock. It's obviously a custom beautiful instrument, not a boring Warmoth Partscaster.
thank christ for a demo-er who understands that not every guitarist shreds all day. but that being said, he sure did open up can of whoop-ass when he needed it.
Nice demo Irwin, the Atma sounds sweet indeed. Cheers for keepin' it real & playing like a demon (even when spent!), as usual!! ...You have my dream job dammit! :)
Loving these low wattage amps that are usable in small club settings; however, if this will list for $1,600 - $1,800, I project lower sales volumes that what might other wise have been expected. There are plenty of great low wattage amps at $1,200 or less which can cover a lot of sonic territory with a pedal or two (ex: Fender, PRS SE series, Blackstar, etc.). Bottom line....I would LOVE to own one but can probably by something covering the same tones (and save some cash) or 2 amps even.
Sorry we're not all into one-off B.C. Rich's and like some more classic designs. A tele has a distinctive sound and feel and I happen to like cabronita style ones like that one, especially in that Daphne Blue with maple neck. I play a Suhr Modern and an EBMM JP7 which are both more modern takes on the strat design, but that's about as far as I get from the classic Strat/Tele/Les Paul styles.
He's a fine guitarist and probally a really nice guy. My problem is he keeps showing up in my news feed and I'm NOT subscribed to him. Nothing Personal ...
I'm not a fan of the headstock but it's the original "tele" headstock when it was the Broadcaster but I don't like the traditional Tele headstock either if we're purely talking aesthetics.
Most gigging musicians are not going out to buy a studio 18 watt.amp I don't care if it does have three channels ,although it is a bundle .If you do a lot of recording & coffie shop venue's great amp, big venue's not practical . Still a great amp for a special group of people!
im sorry way overpriced was what i meant to say 1700 for what you get isn't very good seeing as amps by the same quality companies are selling for half of what this is. i've played bogner's and wasn't impressed enough to drop insane money on an amp nor call them world class when i could get a (insert other tube amp brand here) for less than half the price with same features tone and reliability
Anybody getting tired of BOGNER making another Marshallesque style amp?? I'm really getting sick of so many companies that can only do a Fender or a Marshall type amp.. Geeze.. You would think that some of these guru's could really create something.. You'd think. Then, they charge an arm and a leg??? WTF???
actually it's not bizarre logic.....Germans have work ethic and standards that America for the most part gave up 50 yrs ago....in general. It's sad, and i wish it weren't so...but wishes aren't going to right the wrongs. anywhoooo.....this amp sounds quite tasteful, and seems to be a good one.
Err... American company building products in America, who's founder happens to be German, and this is a 'German amp'? Bizarre logic. What's your point anyway, why can't this guy use this amp?
Wow !! I was about to pick up a JJ Jr, but this blows it away for having MUCH better cleans!!
I've got the Bogner Helios 100, Atma and the Uberschall pedal. Absolutely awesome products!

Amazing! Best amp i have heard so far from this series of NAMM 2013
Love Bogner amps and saving up for one. That and Diezel along with Friedman are badass for rock and metal.

I'm normally into the really hi-gain amps, but the 60's setting on this amp is brilliant!
I have the Uberschall and absolutely love it, it cleans up great too. I need that Ecstasy Red.
One of the best sounding amps i've ever heard, so juicy!
Wow, that's the best sounding amp I've heard in a long time. I did not expect that at all.
the Atma sounds absolutely fabulous
These lunch box amp are becoming more popular in the studio now day's the suhr corso amp is also a great choice .These are great tool's for recording!
I really took a shine to that guitar.. Avi is a master..
Nice sounding Aussie!!!
Those pedals are AMAZING love em!!!!

the Atma is just a nice thick, sweet voiced amp with so much variation
this guy knows his shit, the atma sounds fantastic and overall a great demo.
Excellent demo & review.
Yes, to me, it looks and sounds amazing. I love the overall look and specs and the big paddle headstock. It's obviously a custom beautiful instrument, not a boring Warmoth Partscaster.
I really love all of Bogner's designs. Reinhold really has his finger on the pulse of what today's guitarists want for tone, aesthetics, and features.
thank christ for a demo-er who understands that not every guitarist shreds all day. but that being said, he sure did open up can of whoop-ass when he needed it.
These guys know there shit ... Long time Bogner player and the pedals were a killer way to make a quick switch out and keep your tone .
Smiles.. I guess it's nice to see some people are still passionate about guitar..
This amp is just SICK! I sold my Mesa Roadking for this and no regrets! Also 1/4 the weight! haha
Check out his demos for the bogner pedals under bogneramplification. They're my favorites of late.
Nice demo Irwin, the Atma sounds sweet indeed. Cheers for keepin' it real & playing like a demon (even when spent!), as usual!! ...You have my dream job dammit! :)
I tried both blue and red pedals before my god old Rollie JC-120 and goodness. I'd swear it's the best tube amp. You have to try these for your sake.
I have the same view lately. Everything just seems so cool.
cool amp,,, i like his playing,,
I love my Atma.
Is that Matthias Ekluhnd we hear in the background around 4:10
Bogner makes a great product
I wonder what the ATMA street price will be ?
Atma sounds great.
Any news about the shipping date?

What kind of tele copy is he playing?
Maravilloso.
What is that guitar? Anybody? That thing is freaking amazing.
Irwin, you and that shabat guitar belong together. Can't he give u a deal or something. It belongs with you. Very cool.
I dig there red and blue pedals I own:)
I dig it
nice job rich
You get what you pay for, and in this case you get a lot and all of it is Really Great.

sounds killer
sounds cooll
That Li'l baby sounds sweet man.
I got the 3 pedals when they first hit the street, they are the best I have ever owned. Did they say another 3 pedals??? Hold S%^@!!!!!!!
He's a fine guitarist and probally a really nice guy. My problem is he keeps showing up in my news feed and I'm NOT subscribed to him. Nothing Personal ...
No fx loop?????????
I'm not a fan of the headstock but it's the original "tele" headstock when it was the Broadcaster but I don't like the traditional Tele headstock either if we're purely talking aesthetics.
So awesome, bogner makes the coolest amps. Too bad this little thing will cost $1200.
$1,600-$1,700? Damn I wish it were cheaper it's pretty neat.
Do i hear some Dorje or Rob Chapman in the background? ;)
02:50 Matt Pike playing?
Must have ATMA!
What? Whats so bad about him/them?
This is a loud amp believe it or not.
That's Bogner. :)
Irwin Thomas!!!
01:06 Who else heard someone voicing a guitar solo in the background?
Not sure if amp sounds great
Or the player is just really good..
I'd love to hear it with a PRS plugged into it...
Shabat guitar.
Can't take some heavy metal kid shredding at guitar shop. Soon will have Music Co.No Namm for me. Do it online.
Shabat guitar
Been made in California since forever...
OK, 1600 - 1700 . . . ouch !

+Guitarman3348 You should have a PA and be using a mic in anything bigger than a small bar.
I believe that bogner amp those pedals are setting on.. needs a shave

Quarter~Sawn neck, Hand picked timber, meticulously crafted etc.. Incomparable to a 'kit' style guitar really.. The devil's in the detail..
Anybody getting tired of BOGNER making another Marshallesque style amp?? I'm really getting sick of so many companies that can only do a Fender or a Marshall type amp.. Geeze.. What?!1
1700? damn a little overpriced

anywhoooo.....this amp sounds quite tasteful, and seems to be a good one.
ugh.
Urge
you are way off base. if you can't tell the difference between these amps and Marshall or Fender you need your hearing checked
