You know why? Because if balancing....doom is immortal during his ult baby dva isnt....
@@cpenner7086 calling that balance is crazy it’s not invisible but it is a second life that is the equivalent of two aoe ultimates capable of one hit killing. Her bomb is a wiping ability especially when teamed with a cc of some sort then she can just hide and wait for respawn then bam at the entrance two or more death at one quick drop. It’s multiple one hit killed when used correctly. Doom fist ultimate just sucks now, he’s a damn meteor at this point and his like a zenyatta kick

I really like how most ults now have faster animations and dva bomb detonates faster to makes the game feel a little better paced
Dva bomb definitely doesn’t detonate faster and none of the cast times have been changed as far as I can tell
Ults haven’t changed a bit, no need to tell yourself that anything has changed from OW1.

@@choleraphd7702 i mean they call it more a sequel because overwatch 2 got a story mode aswell. Ofc there are many major changes in multiplayer and i dont think that they showed all hero changes in the beta

bastion then: tank that can save the game even on 4 hp
bastion now: artillery cannon that can save the game from 79 miles away
u mean , bastion now : can only kill one personne if lucky with an ult having the same charge quantity ( 2300) but overall nerf of 40% dps on turret ( turret wich is on cd ) and 50% firerate recon mode nerf + no survivability , so u will have ur ult maybe 2or 3time per game for maybe killing no one

I've never heard Sigma's ult in the background of him just chuckling like a maniac 0.55 , it's hard too because so much noise with other characters go on in a match but boy i love the small detail, his main attack also makes a sound where you here whispering when used I believe. so many small things went into this character to fulfil his origin and his personality with gravity and being insane and such.

They should’ve kept it english. Some of the native languages sound cool like sombra’s or lucio’s but hers just doesn’t carry any weight and sounds like a random jumble of nothing. Doesn’t compare to “CEASE YOUR RESISTANCE” at all.

I think it’s funny people are even expecting these to be different. Like, imagine if Genji suddenly just had a completely different Ult, I would actually hate that so much. These are all just nice visual updates, and balancing for the newer gameplay. Well, aside from Bastion and Orisa being completely different, which those changes are warranted in my opinion.

I would hardly call this a "visual update". The problem people are having is that blizzard is marketing ov2 as a completely new experience when it's practically just the same game. I have no problem with blizzard committing to a formula that works I just dont see the point in creating an entire new game.

Idk if this is ban unpopular opinion but I’m really gonna miss orisas damage amplifier. Loved hearing “cease your resistance!” While racking up those damage points,
Honestly, the orisa rework is amazing, she caan finally do her job as a tank herself and can do terrifying damage if left unchecked
and sigma ult wasn't properly showcased, the damage depend on the heigh of the fall, in wide op areas you can one shot some tanks if they lost a bit of health (can deal up to 500~ damages as I've seen so far)
it's 50% max HP no matter what. No matter what's the height or something. Sigma cannot one shot anyone with ult unless they have 49% HP or less
Sigma damages 50 hp when he lifts an enemy. Then his ult deals 50% HP (fall). So when Sigma in video ulted, he dealt 200 (Training Bot's HP) -50 (Lift) -100 (50% of Bot's HP) = Bots had 50 HP left

This game should've introduced multiple abilities for heroes and a second ultimate for everyone. That way everytime you fought let's say a Reinhardt vs Reinhardt there kits are different therefore you approach them a different way. Would've gave the game more of a brand new feeling of a new game instead of feeling like this should've just been an update for ow 1.

Letting you pick 1 between 2 ults and show which kit youre using in the player tab would be actually really cool

I get what you mean. Dva also sounds different, more high pitched. It's the same voice actors reprising their roles but some of them sound different compared to Overwatch 1 while the rest sound identical.

We definitely are, the next character has already been leaked, the “Junker Queen”, I’m also liking the fixes and updates that just came out, like hog isn’t forced to shoot with his ult, you can stop shooting and continue after. Soldier can also hit crits with his ult if your crosshairs is on their head.
As an Orisa main I’ll have to get used to having a damaging ultimate rather than an amplifier ;3;

It's good they changed it. Even if it doesn't have the same ring to it anymore. But honestly after everything I've heard about Blizzard I just don't want to play any of their games, including overwatch with the Jesse McCree incident. Off topic to what you were saying I know but it's still Blizzard. And given that they barely made any changes with overwatch 2 it's probably good to express concern.
Yeah, McCree’s been in need of an ult rework for a LONG time. Then again he isn’t even the only character who needed changes...

@@georgecunningham562 if I played a beta of a game it would show all the major concepts and mechanics that will be available in the final game besides minor changes and balances. This game is 5v5, a new Game mode, some slight reworks, and maps that are 6 hours ahead in time. This is overwatch with all the updates being unloaded at once several years later. Not “overwatch 2”

@@cupcakecavlry5560 thats all fine and dandy and the PVE does look like it will be fun. However, I expected something way better then different lighting and a couple reworks for pvp. PVP is what drew people to the game, PVE came later as added interest.

Seeing how the devs opt for a sequel instead of any old regular updates, it’s only natural for one to expect more forms of changes. You don’t have to be a dev to have an opinion abt this decision. If you can’t handle the fact that ppl can have opinions differing from yours, you shouldn’t be on the internet.

@@Lolamy I have not thought about and I dont think I will. Other than the time to time videos, it's been ages sinces I last touched OW. Probably some more reworks to more ultimates since thats generally the selling point for the majority of the character pool
consider that this is the first beta and a lot of content is on the way + the real Ow2 aspect of the game will be the PVE. At a first glance, this may seem like the first game, but I can assure you that just with having 1 less character the game feels completely different. Less spam left and right and more focus on individual skill. And they added a lot just for this one first beta: every tank got massive changes; Orisa, Doom, Sombra and Bastion got a completely new kit; they removed CC from dps making the game more fun to play; they added role passives etc. I think its too early to judge since its literally the first iteration of the game and the final product isnt even out yet, and since its a SEQUEL, its supposed to carry on from the first game and improve it. Idk why a lot of people always complain with ItS ThE SamE GaME type of stuff. If you wanna keep the characters etc, ofc its gonna be similar. But as i've already pointed out, there are a lot of new things and its only the first beta we have
