I have to be very picky and careful on what I choose, otherwise it just looks like I can’t even describe the color, it’s a rosy/brownie/peach, crazy! Let me tell you I tried Seychellles by Buxom because of Andria and it looks horrible in the pan but totally gorgeous on my cheeks and different then other blushes! Sorry for running on just glad to hear I’m not crazy!
I agree as well, blushes so often look the same once applied to the skin, it's kinda bizarre. Buxom Seychelles looks SO GOOD on the cheek, a tippy top fave of mine too. 😊

that saie balm reminds me a lot of the melt cosmetics cream blushlighters! so if anyone wants to try something similar, melt does a ton of sales and they have a wide range of colors

Blush is probably my favorite makeup so this video is perfect for me! I’m obsessed with the Mario Skin Enhancer bronzer so I knew I would love the blushes and picked up the same two colors as you! I love them but I do wish there was more nude, brownish colors or a color like the Saie one. I’m obsessed with the sunburned look too!

I’m curious if you would enjoy the Bare Minerals blonzers! They’re like a blush/bronzer but I use them mostly like a blush and they just released new colors to the line :)
Mahogany from the Dior line up is so unique and pretty. I'm very fair so need to use a light hand but it's almost like a blush/contour as the brown turns a little pink. I think it's the most underrated of all the shade. I have Rosewood and it's fine. Looks very similar to the Pink one on me though!
I think one of the things that might be making the matte side look more lifted to you is that the dewier blushes lend more shine to the inner portion of your face-like, from the center of your eye inward-which volumizes and brings that area "forward' a bit. This kind of catches you eye more and keeps attention on the center of your face. On the matte side, where there's no shine in that area, your eye kind of just slides over the inner portion of the face and is drawn more up and out, maybe? That's at least the conclusion I came to during the Lawless/Saie comparison, haha. Not that either is "right"! It's all about the vibe you want for the day. And, if you wanted a middle ground, I bet just powdering that inner portion when you're wearing a juicier cheek would do it.

You are not the only person who has been disappointed by the Armani blushes! I think I’ll pass until maybe the Sephora (or Ulta) sale. The lawless blush looks so pretty I have to pick it up even though I have a trillion blushes! You looked so lovely ❤
Those coral, warm pink, peachy pink shades of blush are definitely your sweet spot. The Persona peach blush stick looked amazing in both color & texture (I might pick it up for myself since our skintones re so similar) I used to avoid pink blush like the plague but I have noticed things pull more orange on me now that I wear bronzer, so I don't mind pinker shades now as long as they are bright & sheer in texture. I think the matte finish looks strange to you because you wear your blush pretty high & you also have lovely, full plump cheeks. The matte non reflective finish kind of pushes things back visually. Before bronzer & contour/highlight became standard, sculpting was done primarily with blush. Duos & trio compacts were common at the drugstore with shades of blush in a color family. Usually a light shimmer, a midtone bright & then a deeper or more muted version of whatever the color was. You might prefer the matte shades paired with a blush topper worn high on the cheeks :)
The Anastasia cream blush in Latte is my absolute favorite. I went thru a whole tube and repurchased it, and I have a TON of blushes to choose from. My favorite powder blushes are the Hourglass ones from the elephant palette.

you were so right! Lawless looks way more natural than the armani one, it blends in with the skin so well while armani looks like it sits on top. Btw I think the other armani blush, the shiny one, looked stunning on you!

I think you will love the Buxom Wanderlust blush in the shade Dolly. It’s a glowy blush, and it’s a rosy-terracotta color (although it looks more mauve in the pan), and it gives the most plump and yummy cheeks, it’s my favorite blush 😍

Lauren, please please try out the Half Caked blushes, they are gorgeous. They have 2 formulas (well, 3 but one is being discontinued) and they are both gorgeous. The liquid ones are a natural finish and the cream ones are radiant finish. Also, they are extremely affordable! Their bronzer and mascara are also amazing, in case you want to try it as well ❤
I notice on fair girls like us Lauren, who have redness in the cheeks naturally that a lot of blushes tend to pull reddish....at least for me! If there isn't a significant difference in color or tone like a warm vs a cool they end up looking the same on me. My girlfriend whose skin is a bit more olive & tan that doesn't happen to. The blushes always seem to show more true to the color in the tube or pan on her skin....& just look so gorge! makes me a bit jelly...lol!! Thank you tho for the time & effort of trying so many different new formulas & colors in this age of blush!!

The persona blush stick might be a good cold girl blush for winter. It’s pretty, but maybe for winter? (It can work for whenever, that’s just what I thought of when I saw it)
Amazing blush haul! I also picked up the MBM blushes and one saie blush. I got the Saie Mauve and it's more pigmented works more like a blush! I'll probably return barely blushing MBM color and get the peach. I love the rose MBM color highly recommend that one!
Love love blush videos! I think that the bright pinks are a bit cool which is what’s throwing it off a bit. The lawless one is way better on a warmer skin tone than the armani one. I run into the same problem. I am light to medium olive skin tone with a true neutral undertone and I can’t do the purely cool blush or overly warm ones. They just look off on me. If you really think that the lack of luster is the problem, put a tiny bit if a champagne topper on the bright pink one, which would warm it up a tiny bit and give the luster you’re used to. I don’t do matte blushes either. I have dry skin so nothing matte for me.
I really started loving blush at the end of last year. I discovered the melt cream blushes in January of this year and they’re my favorite formula hands down 🙌🏼 I can’t recommend them enough ❤ I don’t like the bright pink blush that everyone is loving at the moment. Give me all the neutrals/browns/oranges and the reds with a little brown 😍😍😍 they make me so happy!
The Lawless watermelon shade looks a lot like Nabla Lola with a matte finish - that's what I've been using to quench my pink blush thirst because it's a tad warmer, but still punchy, and gives me that pink cheek look. I also have a baby pink from The Saem off of Stylevana/YesStyle in the shade Rose Ribbon - it's a tad warmer baby pink without going peach at all, so I think you'll really like it! The cool baby pink looks ashy on my depth, even though I'm light/medium, because I have a warm olive skin tone.
Glad I passed on the Mario blushes because they restocked on the soldout One/Size blush! I like his bronzer in this formula and I swatched the blushes today. They were so pretty but just wiped off.
Happy to see the new Mario and Saie blushes in action here. The photos online for each color on models were not at all appealing to me. It was hard to tell differences between them. I’m intrigued though for sure. - Okay I hit play again and then you started talking about similar issues when looking at the swatches online. So it’s not just me.

I don’t see anyone talking about Tresluce cosmetics. They are having an online sale 25%, I picked up a blush at Ulta and it’s really nice. The texture is interesting as it’s a cream, but it feels like a powder! I have oily skin and I usually don’t wear cream blushes because I don’t need help turning into an oil slick. Lol This one is easily to blend. Wear time is good too especially for a cream blush.
Also blush obsessed. I recently found Kbeauty blushes and am in love with them! I loved the look of the MbM ones but seeing they’re similar to the sigma which has shades I’d rather try, I think I’ll go with those instead. Love the nude and coral ones! Also very interested in those Persona blushes. I definitely don’t need more cream blush right now, but when I do I think I’ll try these two. Current faves are my Fenty glow cream blush (whyy does she not make this permanent?) and my em cosmetics so soft blushes in Chiffon and Lychee! Then I’m still obsessed with my MAC mineralize blushes, I have a bunch of shades and they keep discontinuing my faves unfortunately. I loved Dainty and New Romance which are both gone now, but luckily I was able to get a backup of New Romance which is a really pretty pinky peach shade.

This is my first video that I’ve watched of you, and I loved it. I bought the watermelon Lawless blush and immediately returned. The colour was nice but it hard panned on the very first application! It’s too hard pressed.
Those bright pinks help to balance a blush that is a bit too warm on those of us who have undertones that turn everything orange on the face. Just got one from Bobbie Brown the other day for this purpose.

The persona blush stick might be a good cold girl blush for winter. It’s pretty, but maybe for winter? (It can work for whenever, that’s just what I thought of when I saw it)
The Juvia’s Place blushes are nice too. Very pigmented.
Amazing blush haul! I also picked up the MBM blushes and one saie blush. I got the Saie Mauve and it's more pigmented works more like a blush! I'll probably return barely blushing MBM color and get the peach. I love the rose MBM color highly recommend that one!

I have very similar colouring to you (hair+skin) and I think the serumy Saie blush and the last two Sigma ones were the most flattering ❤
Love love blush videos! I think that the bright pinks are a bit cool which is what’s throwing it off a bit. The lawless one is way better on a warmer skin tone than the armani one. I run into the same problem. I am light to medium olive skin tone with a true neutral undertone and I can’t do the purely cool blush or overly warm ones. They just look off on me. If you really think that the lack of luster is the problem, put a tiny bit if a champagne topper on the bright pink one, which would warm it up a tiny bit and give the luster you’re used to. I don’t do matte blushes either. I have dry skin so nothing matte for me.
I just ordered the Makeup by Mario blush. Can’t wait to try it!

I really started loving blush at the end of last year. I discovered the melt cream blushes in January of this year and they’re my favorite formula hands down 🙌🏼 I can’t recommend them enough ❤ I don’t like the bright pink blush that everyone is loving at the moment. Give me all the neutrals/browns/oranges and the reds with a little brown 😍😍😍 they make me so happy!
The Lawless watermelon shade looks a lot like Nabla Lola with a matte finish - that's what I've been using to quench my pink blush thirst because it's a tad warmer, but still punchy, and gives me that pink cheek look. I also have a baby pink from The Saem off of Stylevana/YesStyle in the shade Rose Ribbon - it's a tad warmer baby pink without going peach at all, so I think you'll really like it! The cool baby pink looks ashy on my depth, even though I'm light/medium, because I have a warm olive skin tone.

Glad I passed on the Mario blushes because they restocked on the soldout One/Size blush! I like his bronzer in this formula and I swatched the blushes today. They were so pretty but just wiped off.

Happy to see the new Mario and Saie blushes in action here. The photos online for each color on models were not at all appealing to me. It was hard to tell differences between them. I’m intrigued though for sure.

Ok no one talks about them but I just got one of the colors on sale. The Laura mercier color infusion blushes are amazing. I just got grapefruit and I swear it’s amazing. I would LOVE to see you try it or one of them. I know they aren’t new.

Gucci blushes are my current favorites…I also love the nudestix cremes with a powder shadow topper. Just want to say I purchased your palette and love it! Would love to know what you think of the Valentino blushes…
I don’t see anyone talking about Tresluce cosmetics. They are having an online sale 25%, I picked up a blush at Ulta and it’s really nice. The texture is interesting as it’s a cream, but it feels like a powder! I have oily skin and I usually don’t wear cream blushes because I don’t need help turning into an oil slick. Lol This one is easily to blend. Wear time is good too especially for a cream blush.

Also blush obsessed. I recently found Kbeauty blushes and am in love with them! I loved the look of the MbM ones but seeing they’re similar to the sigma which has shades I’d rather try, I think I’ll go with those instead. Love the nude and coral ones! Also very interested in those Persona blushes. I definitely don’t need more cream blush right now, but when I do I think I’ll try these two. Current faves are my Fenty glow cream blush (whyy does she not make this permanent?) and my em cosmetics so soft blushes in Chiffon and Lychee! Then I’m still obsessed with my MAC mineralize blushes, I have a bunch of shades and they keep discontinuing my faves unfortunately. I loved Dainty and New Romance which are both gone now, but luckily I was able to get a backup of New Romance which is a really pretty pinky peach shade.
Oooh I know matte blush looks odd to you but wowow you look gorgeous in a whole new way. Def want to see a mostly matte face with that sharp new bob!!! Meanwhile I still have an Elaine bennis pouf in my hair because change is hard lol...

This is my first video that I’ve watched of you, and I loved it. I bought the watermelon Lawless blush and immediately returned. The colour was nice but it hard panned on the very first application! It’s too hard pressed.
Those bright pinks help to balance a blush that is a bit too warm on those of us who have undertones that turn everything orange on the face. Just got one from Bobbie Brown the other day for this purpose.
