  • Écouter and Entendre are very easy to mix up in French. One is an active verb, the other one is a passive verb. But don't stop learning there, learn with examples and review (or learn) the conjugation for each verb.

    Hello, thank you for video. As you know there are British and American English, with little differences. What about French? Is there difference between French French and Belgian, Canadian, etc.?

    • @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
      @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane  4 года назад +1

      One of my favourite subject Asif 🤓
      I am a very big advocate for all the different types of French. People are very focus on France when so many others countries have French as an official or unofficial language (28 countries actually).
      In Europe 4 countries have French as their official language. France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland. Belgium has the same French but the 2 main differences is for 70 and 90 it's Septante and Nonante.
      Luxembourg has a very good French but they usually speak with a German accent.
      Swiss French can be very hard to understand, even for myself.
      For Canadian French, it is very different, they use less grammar and they are more focus on the message. But it's easier to understand for me than Swiss French.
      That being said, every town / province has its own slang like any other languages.
      Let me know if you have more questions about the subject 😉

    Why don't u do videos where u explain in French in a clear slow way to keep pace and be able to think in French? 🙂
    As this helps to think in French and speak easily by time .. English is my 2nd language but I have no issues coz I think in English and speak directly ..

    • @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
      @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane  4 года назад +1

      Because there are already a lot of French teachers teaching in French on RUclips 😉
      The second reason is that I live in Canada now and I teach mostly French in English. It's very rare for me to teach French in French.

      @@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane I get ur point .. The point is I love ur way and I am not a beginner in French nor advanced yet, and I love ur way; simple and to the point .. Other people talk a bit fast and I need a slower pace so that it's not stressful .. Thanks for ur efforts ❤
