Hello everyone! Here is an update on how the makeup wore - after filming this video, I felt like the makeup started to look a little cakey after about 6 hours of wear. It looked a little makeup-y on my forehead. I also looked very shiny by the end of the day. The next day I decided to try the foundation without the loose powder (used a bit of the Sisley pressed powder) and I thought it wore a lot better. Lasted 8 hours with only the slightest fading - nothing patchy. I haven't gotten a chance to use the powder on a different foundation, but will soon. The concealer wore very well - no creasing or fading, and it didn't sink into my fine lines to emphasize any dryness. So I may get a lighter shade. And the liquid lipstick was nice for a couple of hours, but it wasn't transfer-proof, which was fine. I had to reapply after a meal.

The powder is quite interesting, isn't it! I totally understand "alien" feel of using an eyebrow pen. I'm the other way around. The first time I ever showed my brows attention, I used this exact pen - now I can't use an eyebrow pencil! 💗
I use it with a brush and very light handed. I then have to spritz it with something but it then looks great. I have to spritz with most of my powders.

For everyone that wants to buy suqqu foundations online, if the shade numbers start with 2, then it’s on the pink side, 0 means it’s on the yellow side, and 1 means it’s in between. 🥰
The fact that this foundation has petrolatum, and wears so well on numerous skin types is beyond my comprehension. Witchatry I tell you! And the blush palette is easily one of my fav products of the year. Everything looks gorgeous on you 😍
You look much younger!!! I mean your skin!!! Wow!! eyeshadow 4in1 palette is best. It’s not about pigmentations. It’s all about suqque atmosphere. Nuance. So beautiful. Please try!!!!
I wear shade 110 for the Suqqu cream foundation and shade 11 for the intense cover concealer. Please note that the concealer in shade 11 is darker than the foundation shade 110. You can use the concealer as a corrector underneath the foundation. Other foundation I wear for reference: Surratt's Dew Drop Foundation in 3 Chanel CC cream in 10 Chanel les beiges healthy glow foundation hydration and longwear in B10 Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation in 2 Nudestix tinted cover in 2
That lip colour is perfect on you, beautiful. I have the Suqqu sheer loose powder, it's gorgeous and as a very dry skin person I can say it's not drying. The one you bought I found too glittery. For the brushes, Selfridges won't sell natural haired brushes but Harrods and Fenwicks do. I used the Surratt face brush for my powder and that is perfect.

Many ,many years ago, Helena Rubenstein had a mascara just like this one. It was a thin gold applicator wand with grooves . It was fabulous. I have been looking for something like that. I must give this a go. Thanks . You look gorgeous in this makeup!

I have over 50 face powders. Suqqu is a a very favorite, I love the texture, the slight radiance, my only issue is, I have medium - light tan skin and the Suqqu can quickly lighten my makeup. Its a beautiful powder, unfortunately it's not for everyone. For example Koh gen do powder never lightens my foundation, it truly is translucent.
It feels like you haven't worn dark lipstick in so long. But you wear them so elegantly. When the weather cools off some more it would be so great to hear what dark lipsticks you recommend! Maybe like a Fall/Winter lipstick recommendations video.
I really like Suqqu products and the blush/highlighter palette looks beautiful. I didn't see any glitter in the highlighter, it looked extremely smooth, but was there any that you could see? I feel a little purchasing is in order, 😉💗🌸💗

Love it, love it, love it. Like much of Surratt, Suqqu is just sublime. The foundation is easily my favourite, and the powder products are almost without parallel. From what I have heard from Suqqu sales associates in Selfridge's, the difference in brushes between Selfridge's and Harrods is due to the fibres, Selfie's reckoning that squirrel somehow violates either or both their cruelty free or anti fur stances (I can't remember exactly what the SA said now, it's been a couple of years).
You are so right when you talk about ‘gateway’ colours to grungy brown lipsticks. In the 90s I wore full on chocolate brown lipstick and a lovely Dior frosted greige. I am loving my Tamarind lipstick from Chantecaille as it’s easing me back into brown. If only Charlotte Tilbury would do a Birkin Brown range!!!!
I have a lot of the Suqqu range. I believe this particular foundation is for the normal to oily demographic. I read that in some PR; but looking at the ingredients, I don’t see how that can be. The Extra Rich Glow Cream, Nude Wear, Nude Wear E/X (March, 2020 launch) are all available to thé European and U.S. market now through Selfridges which is more for skin like yours. I have all of them but I get mine from Wafaa Debs Shopify. She goes by Beautygypsy on Instagram. I have had a hard time with finding a foundation match and Japanese brands work. I also have Decorté, Kanebo,ADDICTION, THREE, Lunasol, Elegance, Kose, and Amplitude foundations, blushes, powders, primers, and concealers. Wafaa carries all of those brands and adds products all of the time. She uses DHL and at a flat $20.00 shipping fee. It makes it easy. The quality it better than 95% of Western brands. It’s certainly true of the complexion products. Re:the cakey foundation. I have the powder and I have to wonder if application of the powder puff was the culprit? Maybe a brush application would work better? I have not ever experienced a Suqqu foundation and that powder had it cake. I have not had that powder ever cake on any foundation. But that doesn’t mean it won’t. Anyone on each any day in different weather and circumstances can produce different outcomes;but, it’s a possibility I thought to offer. One last thing: I think that Suqqu cheek palette is very Western for the Europeans. I have five of the blushes and like you noticed with the eyeshadows, they offer a beautiful wash of color. The palette is different because it offers very bold color payoff. The fact that it caked really surprised me. I’m sorry you had that experience. I know you have the older Nude Wear (Drops) .I hope that you will try the other Japanese brands too because they are phenomenal. And, since Wafaa lived in Japan and knows the shade ranges she can help you with the picking a shade dilemma. I think being an O20 in CDP that you are an O20 or 025, maybe a 120 in the Suqqu range -but that is just me. I got O20 and 110 because I am an O10 in CDP and they both work w/ 020 being the better match-close to perfect. We are the same undertone, you are one shade darker usually. You chose a pink undertone.

The original squirrel hair brushes can be purchased at Harrods and Fenwick’s as well as the makeup. Sadly I don’t care for the blush pallets as the colors don’t suit me though I love most of their other blushes and foundation. I’m looking forward to trying the lip stain and eye brow “liner”! xx

I JUST said this to Alicia two days ago that the oil enriched powder is like the Koh Gen Do powder (a personal favorite of mine). I set this foundation and their extra glowy foundation with the sheer powder but I use the oil powder for buffing. Apparently Suqqu also says to try it on the high points, like maybe an Hourglass diffused light, but I like it for buffing with a big brush. And thank goodness for the Suqqu website or I would have had to call Selfridges to pick my shade.

Ur skin looks amazing, I got the foundation and I had to get the creamy concealer pen in nc10 as none of the new colours match my foundation shade which was 210. Even the sales lady said none of them go light enough which is a shame. Also Michele have you seen the new blusher palette 🤪 it’s gorgeous 🥰🥰

The mascara reminds me of the It! Tightline Mascara. The small wand makes it great for lower lashes. Fun to see this brand in action. I have the Extra Rich Glow Cream and love it. I'd like to see you compare the Suqqu brushes to the Surratt Beauty brushes if you feel inclined at some point.
You definitely nailed picking the perfect shade for foundation. My complexion is similar to yours and I assumed you would have picked 120. Now I wonder if I should get 220 instead. I also got the same eyeshadow as well as tone touch eyeshadow 12 which I enjoy the combination. The face pallet is very wearable and practical. You got beautiful glow with Suqqu❤️
Very pretty foundation. I love the glow that it imparted. The blush was lovely as well. Sorry that the concealer was too dark. Eyebrows definitely had a tinge of green. hello michele ! that foundation & powder combo looks amazing ! i hope you’ll figure out a way to use them together in a way that lasts ! would you say that the foundation is similar to chanel’s sublimage ? those were my exact reactions to sublimage - i’d always thought it would be too rich & heavy but it’s turned out to be light & creamy with a gentle radiance. and that oil loose powder is SOOO intriguing !! 💗

The powder is too glittery. It accentuates my skin problems and it’s a bit drying. I thought it would be similar to la mer powder but it’s not. I really think for dry skin or aging skin, la mer and la prairie powder is the best. Caron is very fine but still a bit drying

It’s really difficult based on the chart. i really was eager to pick up the cheek palette but now I’m wondering if I’m too pale and pasty and maybe too old? I really love blush palettes where you can mix your own perfect shade and even use the highlight as a very light handed topper. Looks great on you.

I set this foundation and their extra glowy foundation with the sheer powder but I use the oil powder for buffing. Apparently Suqqu also says to try it on the high points, like maybe an Hourglass diffused light, but I like it for buffing with a big brush. And thank goodness for the Suqqu website or I would have had to call Selfridges to pick my shade.
How do feel about the extra rich glow cream foundation compared to this one ( both by Suqqu).

Ur skin looks amazing, I got the foundation and I had to get the creamy concealer pen in nc10 as none of the new colours match my foundation shade which was 210. Even the sales lady said none of them go light enough which is a shame. Also Michele have you seen the new blusher palette 🤪 it’s gorgeous 🥰🥰
Hello Michele, in application everything really looks beautiful on your skin. It has a very airbrushed appearance on camera. I’d be really interested in a follow up video on all the various new foundations you have tried and which you are finding yourself leaning picking up again and again. The mascara reminds me of the It! Tightline Mascara. The small wand makes it great for lower lashes. Fun to see this brand in action. I have the Extra Rich Glow Cream and love it. I'd like to see you compare the Suqqu brushes to the Surratt Beauty brushes if you feel inclined at some point.

You definitely nailed picking the perfect shade for foundation. My complexion is similar to yours and I assumed you would have picked 120. Now I wonder if I should get 220 instead. I also got the same eyeshadow as well as tone touch eyeshadow 12 which I enjoy the combination.

hello michele ! that foundation & powder combo looks amazing ! i hope you’ll figure out a way to use them together in a way that lasts ! would you say that the foundation is similar to chanel’s sublimage ? those were my exact reactions to sublimage - i’d always thought it would be too rich & heavy but it’s turned out to be light & creamy with a gentle radiance. and that oil loose powder is SOOO intriguing !! 💗

The powder is too glittery. It accentuates my skin problems and it’s a bit drying. I thought it would be similar to la mer powder but it’s not. I really think for dry skin or aging skin, la mer and la prairie powder is the best. Caron is very fine but still a bit drying

I really like how everything looks, especially your brows! I’m going to try the foundation and concealer. I’m going to track down a rep for color matching. It’s really difficult based on the chart. i really was eager to pick up the cheek palette but now I’m wondering if I’m too pale and pasty and maybe too old? I’m in love with all of the colors and how it worked on you 🤔 I still have ads playing while I’m writing this and Im not sure what the ad was for but the narrator said poop at least 50 times...so distracting...I hope you were paid extra for the 💩 ad!!!
