1. I don't have any XTool products YET, but as a recent retiree, I am really diving into wood carving and pyrography. The extensive capabilities that the XTool M1 tool would provide are endless. 2. I would be making decorative cake toppers for special occasions, metal ID cards for RV friends, ornaments, graduation gifts, personalized wooden signs or wall decorations, book covers, etc. I have learned so much from your videos, Matt. You are the one that has inspired me to begin wood working in my early retirement. Keep the tutorials coming. Many thanks!!
Thanks Matt. I have looked at the xTool line several times. This is more about my son who suffers from anxieties. He needs to be working from home and I thought this would be something he could do because he is great with computers. I am a wood worker so he could also make patterns for me. As a kid my Dad made Christmas cut outs that us Cub Scouts painted, over 50 years later they still ang on my Christmas tree, those would be our first project.
1) We just ordered an Xtool all in one bundle. It should be here in the next week or so. I love everything I have seen online with this tool. 2) We plan on making a lot of wood ornaments, and engraving items for sale. The ideas for making storage containers for our craft supplies is an interesting possibility. The M1 would fit perfectly in our setup. We currently purchase cut wood from a local wood cutter, this would save us money by cutting our own. We are super excited to start our wood cutting with this awesome tool.
1. I haven’t ever purchased any XTool products but love the presentation! It looks to be a great machine to do countless projects!! 2. I have numerous ideas going through my mind of things to make with this machine! Christmas ornaments are one of many! Jewelry like earrings are another!!!
I haven't bought anything yet from xTool. This is the first I leaved about it and love it. Look forward to making some patriotic art to give away to veterans in the community.
I don’t have an xTool yet, but I really see so many woodworking advantages this could have. I’d love to engrave my old oak river wood with some local emblems. Great video as always Matt!
I have already purchased the X tool D1 10 watt... I own a small Christian bas d business I run out of my garage. I really like the blade aspect of this machine, open a new dimension for clothes, especially during Christmas. Anyway, good luck everyone God Bless!!
Q1) I haven’t purchased XTools before but after watching this well executed tutorial video, I will definitely interested in owning these laser engravers. Q2) I believe this engraver would take my wood work/epoxy business to another level by offering more creative options like Christmas ornaments, custom logo inlays and name plates.
1- I plan of purchasing the D1Pro 20w, it looks awesome 2. I plan on making custom engraved art into the woodworker box designs I have as Christmas gifts. This M1 would be a great addition to my tools
I haven’t bought anything from xTool yet but would love to get it for my boyfriend for Christmas. He’s been talking about starting a laser engraving business and this is the tool he’s been talking about non stop. He has been doing research on custom coasters which would be his first product !.
I just purchased the D1 pro 20W today for Cyber Monday. I debated getting the M1, but decided maybe I’ll get it down the road. I’m looking forward to making Christmas signs to give as gifts!
1) I don't have an xTool but I have been looking at them over for about a week. 2) I'm thinking about one for jewelry and woodworking. My husband and I make cutting boards among other things and would like to see how I could incorporate an xTool into those. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Thank you, Matt.
I have not purchased any xtool products yet however I am looking at the xtool for the rotary options and the ease of use. I carve eggshells and I would love to use this to add some exciting detail to them and other carvings that I make.
1. I have not bought anything from xtool through their black Friday sales because the cash flow just isn't there right now. 2. I'd really like to start a small business by making Christmas ornaments and personalized coasters for starters. Thank you for partnering with xtool and having this giveaway.
I have not purchased one, but I just inherited an xTool M1. I am excited to try it out by making some of those fun wooden Christmas ornaments. What an awesome machine!
I already bought an XTool D1 10 watt before the 20 watt came out. Making Christmas ornaments is my plan! It's a great tool! Thanks for your videos. They're very helpful.
I have yet to buy any X-Tool products, but this review has definitely peaked my interest. I envision creating personalized Christmas ornaments, engraved drink glasses/mugs, wood gift boxes, gift tags, a nativity scene. The ideas are endless with this machine!
I haven’t purchased any unit yet. But, my hubby makes cutting boards which I currently engrave with wood burning tools. Some of them are larger than 15” so I think I probably need a D1 with air assist and 20W.
I have bought a x tool d1 pro plus rotary tool plus cover plus materials. I am working on many projects including customize Christmas ornaments, picture frames, wall hangings, pencil holders many other ideas. Have a great fun trying to be a maker! Thank you, Jim dubois
Thanks for the chance at this opportunity! How awesome! I haven't purchased any products yet, but I'm headed over to check them out! I would love to start with the Christmas ornaments and learn all about the features, and everything I can do to work smarter not harder! 🙌🏼👍🏼👏🏼💪🏼🙌🏼🤩💫
I have not bought any Xtool products but it does seem unique! There seems to be a lot if different projects to do with the laser the possibilities seem endless but I would definitely start small with ornaments and work my way up. I have a wedding coming up with rustic theme and this would be amazing to create wedding favors with! Keep up the great work Matt love watching your vides.
I haven't purchased anything yet still deciding on which would be best as its for myself and my 9yr old son who wants to start making little projects His Christmas ideas are to make lot of Christmas tree ornaments with people's initials on and also make smaller creations to make his own Christmas crackers
I haven’t bought an X-Tool yet but if I had one I’d make gifts for my family and tree ornaments and experiment with adding to my carving projects. Thank you for another great review/video.
I haven’t bought any laser yet but XTOOL does have my eye. The M1 has what I have been looking for and a lot closer price. We buy Christmas ornaments every year for the kids and it would be awesome to be able to custom make them for them.
I have a laser cutter/engraver attachment for my CNC machine - the xTool M1 appears to be an order of magnitude easier and more useful. I have been looking at the Glowforge family of laser machines ($ being the biggest obstacle) - but this is a definite a competative alternative. I am definitely interested in looking into it in more detail. I like to combine different art mediums - such as wood carving, rock carving, rock polishing, epoxy resin, acrylic paints, and string (pin & thread) art - using two or more media. Adding in an engraving component will definitely increase my options and ideas.
1 I haven’t purchased anything yet 2 I would make some Christmas ornaments and some other really cool cut outs. I would love to see these as gifts with ornate family pictures on them too.
I haven't bought anything from xTool yet, but I've got about 15 tabs open on my computer for research of what to get. As for christmas, I've been hand engraving a bunch of coasters, but I'd love to do more complicated designs. I also wanted to make small sign boards for friends homes and wood pictures of pets for some of my teachers.
1. No purchase as of yet . 2.I'd really like to try making some holiday wall signage . Looks like a fantastic product for encouraging artistic experimentation !!!
I haven't purchased anything yet. When I am able to purchase a laser I definitely will get the rotary attachment. I have so many ideas about what I would make. Christmas ornaments and other personalized items to start.
I currently have not purchased any X-Tool products though I do think they are great. I would love to try this on my woodturnings for some extra embellishment.
I have not purchased anything from the Black Friday or Cyber Monday YET that’s in the works because I just got 2 weeks ago an Xtool 5w. My buddy's laughed at me and was like what the heck you gonna do with a 5w laser burn paper. I was like pushh bro let me show you, I made my wife Christmas ornaments, an advent calendar (that I had no idea what that was but my wife educated me), name boards for my kids pets, labeled my tools (yup I have names for my tools it’s easer for my kids, especially when I say SON go get me Peggy he knows exactly what to get, BTW that’s my hammer) all this cool stuff in a couple of weeks and still having a blast. Next on my list is a 20w when I can afford it. Thanks for the videos I appreciate them.
I have not bought any xTool products currently, but I am very interested in expanding my wood/vinyl projects, and will definitely be looking into getting one soon. I know an idea for a project that I have had was making customized labels for my parents to have for each of their grandkids Christmas presents, so that they could be used over and over again as well as be a Christmas decoration for the season.
I don’t have an stool yet have been looking for months just not sure what one to pull the trigger on. Love marking Christmas tree ornaments, various gifts and magnets and personalized puzzles etc
Never owned one, but would be an excellent addition for the shop! This type of tool would definetly help expand the possibilities of what one could create! It's hard to say exactly what I would use it for since there would be numerous!!
I haven’t purchased yet, my son is on the spectrum and fascinated by XTool lasers. So hoping to save up for one and get it for him so he can learn and find something he’s in to to help him out.
1) I haven’t bought an x-tool yet but have looked at their product line so often. 2) I would use this x-tool item to help me with all the beautiful details that matter on gifts. It would revolutionise my work and it’s presentation by doing things it would take me days or weeks to do by hand due to my pain levels. For Christmas I would use this to create leather or wood designed name plates at the table or to decorate the sides of a plywood/wooden train model under the tree, a Santa’s village model I could add lights too or for ‘props’ eg streetlight or friends for the gingerbread village model for My partner, it’s a Christmas tradition and I would like to add to it!!
I haven't bought any xtools as of yet, but this just helpede narrow my focus to just one. Thank you. I plan to make 3d art in a way that's hard to explain using the cutter and led lights. Also, snata serving platters for the kiddos! Great video.
I have not purchased any xtool products at this time, however I have been lookin at the D1 for some time now. I would use this to cut out firehose coasters and then engrave times on the coasters as give aways to one of our local volunteer fire department.
Great video Matt. Interested in what other cools things you can do with this. 1.) No, I have not purchased any xTool products online. i just found out about them and will make a purchase as soon as my small busniess allows for it. 2.) Multiple creative ideas come to mind. But I would take some of the logos I have created for customers and make them all a Christmas ornament. And also use it to send the customers metal business cards. Just to show appreciation for allowing me to design for them.
I haven't purchased anything yet but would love to before Spring. I would get the rotary attachment and engrave personal ornaments for the tree plus engrave tags for presents on wood as well as cut vinyl tags for presents and vinyl holiday designs for the windows. Looking forward to more on these and similar products and projects!!
This is amazing. I haven't purchased any x tool products yet but hope to be purchasing in the new year. As far as Christmas, I would love to make personalized wooden tags for gifts or personalized small gift boxes. Thanks for sharing this opportunity.
Hey Matt, my husband and I bought the D1 pro two days ago because of your videos. But the M1 would be the perfect complement. I would laser floral Christmas patterns with names on wooden discs that I sawed myself. But also with 3D to be able to use them as a door sign. Thank you for everything and have a nice Advent season.
I have been looking at laser engravers and watching all the videos I can find trying to decide which one (brand) to choose. I do believe I can create some very unique and wonderful products with one. I would like to create Christmas decorations and gifts using the RA2 pro rotary attachment for glasses, mugs, wood and metal. I have health issues that now prevent me from doing carving and etching by hand (joint and muscle pain). I just can not get out the same and truly need a creative outlet my mind and body can handle (going stir crazy). Thanks for the opportunity to enter this contest.
No I haven't bought anything from Xtool but it has popped up on my FB because of my interest in crafting. I love working with htv right now but I also have items for engraving and stuff. To have the Xtool would be amazing! For Christmas, I have thought of something more personable for gifts this year particularly being able to engrave memorabilia for loved ones lost this year.
Hope everyone is having a great holiday season. This is the first time I have heard about the Xtool engraver brand. Don't currently own a laser engraver yet, just looking around for the moment. I think having the vinyl cutter feature seems pretty neat and eliminates the extra cost of a separate machine and saves space. The first project would most likely be winter themed drink coasters for family and friends just to start off learning how to use the software.
I haven’t purchased yet but looking into the extension for the frame. My Christmas ideas are for personalized ornaments for my husbands large family with our “family member numbers” on a Jersey
I haven’t bought anything yet but I am definitely going to go look. I would to design some small cutting boards with some custom family recipes to share the family traditions with the my family and friends
Wow! What a machine! This would be awesome to have. I’m on a fixed budget and can’t afford right now since I recently invested in the x-tool D1 (have to pay that off first). I would like to enter your giveaway so here are my answers to your questions: 1) I recently bought the x-tool D1. I have always been a crafty person and wanted to incorporate the engraving into my wood work designs. My son-in-law has recently started forging knifes and I hope to engrave some of his work. The D1 will allow me to work with various mediums so after much shopping and comparing it seemed the right choice for me. 2) I could make almost anything for Christmas! From ornaments to decorations and lots of gifts for my grandkids. I would love to make a creative nativity scene, they are my favorite Christmas decoration. Thanks for considering my entry
I haven't bought any xTool unit, but it's been a plan for a long time. Other than for carving and cutting wood, I'd love to use it on leather (one of my main hobbies is leatherworking) and acrylics (embossing stamps for leather, maybe...?). And tiles too, as I've many makers on RUclips do!
I haven't bought anything from xtools but I'm really excited about this cutter. I'm thinking about using this cutter to make my Celtic Crosses. This unit would be ideal for me.

Wow....like a laser and Cricut in one!
I don't have any xTool products at the moment but considering them. I would like to make engraved Christmas cards with it. Thanks for the channel.
I would like to enter your giveaway so here are my answers to your questions:
1) I recently bought the x-tool D1.
I haven’t bought anything from xTool yet, but I’m definitely going to check them out.

I have not purchased any X tool products yet. I’ve been looking at them for quite some time, and I would love to own an M1.

So wanted one of these! Have a small LaserPecker device but it’s just not powerful enough.

Haven’t purchased anything but so interested. I would love to make some unique Christmas decorations that can’t be brought as well as decorations for the kids to make, especially my 10yr old grandson as he loves machines and tools in craft and woodwork and this covers both
I have not yet picked up any of the Xtool products during the black Friday sale. I would however love to laser engrave tumblers and other mugs for Christmas.
I don’t have anything like this but if I won this I would give it to my momma for Christmas!!! This is so awesome!

I haven't bought one yet, but I definitely want one!
I don't currently own an xTool, but I really could use one to supplement hand carving on my woodworking projects. I'd use it mostly to monogram people's names I give articles too, both small and large.
I haven’t bought anything yet but am going to buy the xTool M1.
I would like to personalize glass Christmas ornaments to use as gifts this year.
