I had Till The Mornin Comes as my voice mail message for many years. People would call just to hear my "crazy" message. Lol Cripple Creek Ferry is how my dad and I would greet each other. I would sing 'Hey hey Cripple Creek ferry' and my dad would reply, "The water's goin down, it's a mighty tight..." and we would both sing SQUEEZE and hug each other! I'm such a geek. I love you Uncle Neil! I miss you Dad!
I remember I would ask my brother, Jerry to play 'Cripple Creek Ferry' whenever he brought out his guitar. He loved Neil's music. He would look at me as if to say, "AGAIN???; You're kidding!" but I knew he'd play it for me anyway and he did, pretending it was a big chore. That's what I remember about Jer and the Cripple Creek Ferry.
An example of a very simple song (tlii the morning comes) that stands way above complex ones. I am beginning to get the hang of it on the piano, and I am crap. (Don't tell him but i prefer the album version)
I just erased a super long comment about how I think the band and Neil would both be better off without the other. Then I realized I just sounded like a lame fuckboy. 💀
if he played this live all the time I would go every single time

I'm pretty sure he liked the look in your eyes when he played just for you.
Music will always be experienced and remembered. Saw Neil six times. Blew me away every time.

Both of these songs are criminally short on the album it’s sweet seeing them played back to back!
I agree, short but very memorable for me 47 years after I first heard them.

He has lost his muse..3 generations of my family
Looks like this dude's pages have already been taken down. Too bad. I was hoping all of this show would somehow show up somewhere in the "food chain."

Why on earth are people clapping along? Totally ruins it
they're french
Yes, I hate clap/sing along's. It does ruin it.

You know Neil, when he gets bored he just moves on to the next venture.
srsly, clapping along to Neil Young, despicable...
Aaaargh!!! I hate when audiences try to clap along, they always fuck it up out of time .
