I get the point of wanting the good will from fans and the free ticket might help a bit, but the 10$ ticket doesn't sound that bad to me for a day out. And since the other teams in town are also having to pay maybe it is a league thing that these are paid tickets? Idk, no idea how the ticketing works, or if the league has any control over pricing (like an MSRP), but could it be somehow a league thing?
Yes. There are a lot of hidden expenses. At $10 per ticket the Sabres are trimming their loss. I do not believe Pegula is a cheapskate with the Sabres.
If Krebs doesnt sign there could be an opening on RW on the 3rd line. There might be a battle between Greenway , Kulich and Rosen . Kulich and Rosen would offer more speed and offence than Greenway , although Greenway has some size and is a decent penalty killer. I want to see what Komorov looks like in the prospects tournament coming off a very sucessful QMJHL season where he was D man of the year and MVP in the playoffs . Joe , you do realise that Detroit could be in big trouble as both Lucas Raymond and Moritz Seider are still unsigned .
$11? I pay that to get in a bar because some garbage cover band is playing. $11 is fine. Free ticket = potential for way too many people to show up, leaving pissed off fans. $11 is nothing - but it requires you to actually care about seeing it, not just every person with nothing to do that day in buffalo
This is peak "Joe doesn't have anything worth adding so here's a random take that nobody else would sign on to" It's a small arena, and making tickets free just means anybody gets them and half don't show up.
Draft + 3 years and a first rounder doesn't make it in the NHL you can kiss him goodbye he will never be elite. Trade him now while you can. There is no room on the top 6 in Buffalo for him.

Tickets for the Traverse City tournament are $25, so the outrage is a bit over the top.

Spot on regarding charging for the prospects. Utterly tone deaf.
The game is free to watch on sabres TV.
$10 is a great value. Calm down Joe.

Ten bucks is not worth getting this worked up over
He sounds cheap as fuck lol. Its 10 bucks!!! Bet he'd pay $15 bucks for a beer no prob lol.

Which equates to another loosing season
The fact that Makar makes under $10mill and dahlin makes over $11 mill is LAUGHABLE
All depends on when you sign your contract. Contracts go up every year
Just gonna ignore the fact that makar signed his contract 4 years ago when that was the market for a top dman?
@@254zero two years apart. one player won a Stanley cup, the other never made the playoffs lol
@@rods3275 dahlin never broke 60 points. Makar had 90 points last season. And he wasn’t garbage defensively like Dahlin.
@@user-gg1gb8pr9djrkscbsnotabot he just had a 73 pt season a couple of years ago and look at the players Makar has played with for his career

So trade Rosen and Johnson……
I don’t totally disagree
