Never seen an ice axe before. Turned out amazing 👍 I had to giggle when you used that sanding disc to clean up that center shaft because I had to do the same thing on a job today. Great project and great job.
You completely ‘over-restored’ the metalwork and used the nastiest piece of cheap wood you could find. Okay as an ornament but hopeless as a proper ice axe.
