I was just reading 1 Corinthians. And love is what stood out to me as well. I feel like God is working the hearts of all Christian’s now to get back to loving one another. I’ve been feeling a huge divide with my extended family not showing love to others. We got to love each other and forgive how God does for us ❤❤
Joyce Meyers and Joel Osteen don't recieve criticism because they preach love, they recieve criticism because they are false teachers. Please, please put a little research into them and you will understand why Christians warn against listening to them! This isn't hate in anyway, I truly believe you have such a wonderful relationship with God and I just don't want you steered into the wrong direction. I don't respond greatly with yelling or a lot of judgement either. Though I do believe that our God is loving, kind and forgiving, we also need to be reminded he is also to be feared. God is love, but he is also just. I pray that God helps to lead you into the right direction when it comes to his teachers. I love you and God bless! 💜
What do you mean false teachers? I’m just now getting to know God and Jesus Christ. I’m new to the whole bible and don’t know where to read. I WAS going to read Joyce meyers books too but now I don’t think I should.
Thank you please let her know because she may receive hate and criticism because of that because I know Joel Osteen does teach false preachings but Joyce Meyers not so much I've heard good things about her about her devotional books and stuff. But Chloe it's always good to put a little bit more research into what people are saying sometimes they say that because they don't want you to prosper and be prosperous in your life and they're trying to drag you down the wrong path.

Though the false teaching with both Joyce and Joel, they twist scripture in a way to fit what message they're trying spread rather than what that scripture actually means. There are lots of videos on youtube that give plenty of examples and a lot of information on their false teachings. The biggest way to avoid false teachings is to dive into your bible 💜 also joining your local church's bible study helps in big ways!

One thing I’ve learned at 29 years old, is all that was suppressed in years past. We are made to believe that crime, suicide, and things alike have increased. But that isn’t completely true. We have access to news 24/7, whereas back in the day (even when I was younger) the news wasn’t that accessible and ran for an hour or two a day. So they had to squeeze in local news in that time slot and didn’t make known crimes happening across the world unless it was major. Also, with the lack of technology many crimes went unsolved or unknown and haven’t surfaced until recent years revealing the world was just as screwed up (in different ways) 100+ years ago. Love is very present in this world. But it doesn’t make a good news story. In my day to day life I rarely cross people who aren’t full of love. Also, with the more recent attack on Christians across social media, Christians are afraid to speak up not realizing that’s the time to be the most vocal. My advice to anybody is to stay away from the news, stay off of social media, surround yourself with those who mean the most to you and just live life. Enjoy this beautiful world God made for us. And remember if you’re anxious because of technology, you’re too close to worldly issues and not God ❤

I spent years in astrology, yoga, self-help, and channeling (including automatic writing). ive spent time with modern day witches, reiki masters, psychics, shamans, people who have taken very strong plant medicine hundreds of times. I was deep in it. I have repented and am so sorry for the messages I have passed on, and now, being back in the Christian community I can SEE the deception and I can't not say anything. The enemy will always mix in truth with lies and just because its helping doesnt mean it's good for you. It's a rabbit hole of constantly searching, fixing... Remember 2 Corinthians 11:14- ...even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. No matter what sermon, devotional, guided journal you read ALWAYS test it by the Word of God. There is so much negativity in this world. Which is why I tend to stay off social media. I can't deal with the negative comments. Someone always has to criticize someone else. You are a ray of sunshine in this chaotic world. Just be your positive self and don't let anyone drag you down with their negativity.
Having a spiritual discernment is important. There are "preachers" that "teach" from the Bible for their OWN purpose. The Bible doesn't say we are going to rich in money and some of the false preachers will preach a "prosperity gospel" which is NOT in the Bible. Be careful and vet teachings. To be discerning by referencing back to your Bible. Just my opinion 🤷♀️ 😌

Having a spiritual discernment is important. There are "preachers" that "teach" from the Bible for their OWN purpose. The Bible doesn't say we are going to rich in money and some of the false preachers will preach a "prosperity gospel" which is NOT in the Bible. Be careful and vet teachings. To be discerning by referencing back to your Bible. Just my opinion 🤷♀️ 😌
These are the very doctrines Joyce and Joel teach. And its the SAME doctrine as "The Secret" and any other law of attraction books except with Scriptures sprinkled around it. And while it may feel good and "empowering", it is unbiblical. 2 Corinthians 11:14 Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Lies with sprinkled in truth. And I am someone who was saved by Jesus from the new age. Ive done it all, read it all, seen it all, and have lived among many witches, psychics, reiki masters, shamans, yogans, and so much more. Many are not preaching the true Gospel. That's why it's so important to know the Word intimately. Ephesians 6 says that it is our sword. God bless you!

I've been in a church service and stood up and walked out right when the "prosperity " speech came on. Joel and Joyce are great speakers and are positive, but to hold them at a high standard is crazy. Sprinkling truth here and there amongst lies...still are lies. Most God fearing pastors and such are humble and do not have mega churches. I believe that women can be teachers of the Word, but not pastors. IMHO. Blessings to you 🙏🏼
