The patches fcuked everything up. None of the good builds work anymore. I've unlocked most of the arcana but I'm still finding it hard to beat the chaos trials even once. Everytime I find a build video, it's from 4 years ago and they nerfed it. 🙄

Here's some math:
- Although Venture increases damage by 10%, Awe increases Critical Damage by 20%. Therefore, if it is a single hit and we assume that it will crit, Awe will deal more damage(170% of Arcana damage).
- Earth Knuckles will receive the most bonuses and has high base damage(~50 when enhanced?).
- Double Edged Cestus(40%), Cartographer's Quill(24%), Glass Cannon(20%), Sharpened Stylus(20%), Paranomasicon(20%), Golden Saber of Envy(20%), Anchor of Burden(7*5%, 35%), Royal Flush(20%)
- 50% crit damage from Assassin's Blade(220% of Arcana damage), doubled by Double Trouble(200% of total)
50*1.4*1.24*1.2*1.2*1.2*1.2*1.35*1.2*2.2*2 = *1283 damage against council members, assuming no armor or defense.*

This game is kind of overkill in the difficulty department. I get that it's a rougelight and that dictates how death restarts the trials and what not. But, come on. This game would be so much better if you could go back to the hub between council members and get a full heal. I could probably beat this game when I was a kid and had all the time in the world, but as an adult it's just way too time consuming to start over on every death. They should come out with a different mode Where you get three continues at least.

a year late update, this build, while still can be solid, no longer provides infinite immunity due to the fact that cooldowns now start after the duration of the effect has ended, so while you can get a super low 1 second cooldown, this cooldown only starts charging after you are no longer invincible. however, i've found that with a very low cooldown build of arcana that alow movement, (blazing lariot, hammer of atlas, etc.) you are in fact immune while using these.

How do you get such great runs....98% of mine are crap, only recently got a good one and i choked it at 1 hit left on master sura, whom i have yet to beat. It was Upgraded Royal, Neve's Ruby, Poem of Firey Rime, Sharpened Scalpel, Paranomasicon and Bracers of the Beast (which i totally didnt use enough). That choke will haunt me for the rest of my days.
