Crit was how i got my first win and how i farmed for a while. Melee crit is a bit riskier than normal crit runs, but it pays off when it works. Edit: vampires eyeglassesare super important
That depends on the amount of crit gear you can find. I've seen some say that just Awe robe and Vamp Glasses make you invincible but I only noticed myself healing between 1-3 HP per crit which is garbage. At 1 HP it legit would take you 25 crits to heal one purple flame hitting you.
Try this setup bro. Spark Contact (Basic) - Circuit Line (Dash) - Shock Assult (Signature) - Lightning Aspect (Standard) with the Destructive Abacus relic. you'll combo like crazy. I enjoy using this build almost every time
No Gurren Lagann references what the fuck But anyway, I use Bolt Rail + Tectonic Drill + Glacial Cross with Vampire Eyeglasses - it's a really flexible build that has great DPS, CC, and knockback rolled into one. I can either combo rail into drill and finish with the cross, or I can use the cross to kick a couple enemies against the wall and nuke one or two down before they unfreeze. Probably my favorite build so far (even though I love Fueled Berserk with Earth Fists or Bolt Rail).
I'm sure that it's like a day 1 build but I just absolutely fucking wrecked the game with a Flame Strike, Fueled Berserk, Blazing Lariat build. I have a video on my channel. It also involves Time Crystal, hands down the most nuts build I've ever gotten.

You should try giants heart, grit + rock knuckles, wave dash (the one with the bubble), air invul and air boomerang as signature. Just punch everyone while invulnerable and have high armor just incade
This is AWESOME! But like, question - how do you so consistently pull curses? Is it a luck thing? Is there some way to increase the rate the curse guy shows up?
How do you make builds? You just get into the dungeon hoping to find the right relics in the shop? I seem to not be able to carry more than one from town.
Yeah, I pick the most important item as my starting item and then I just hope for the best. If I'm searching for a specific curse item tho, I usually just start a run, look for the curse on the first floor and if I can't find it, I just start a new run
idk where to find builds, but when I started with the game I just picked the spells I liked best and it went pretty well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I'd say just play around with spells you like and you'll come up with builds for them. And if you don't want to do that, just try full crit builds, they usually go really well. Start with the Dark Katana relic, the Awe outfit and a melee basic arcana (and maybe also fueled berserk) and you're good to go (b'-')b
can you do a 'don't touch me' build with only arcana that you have to get close to the enemy to damage them? This is what I use: basic: User choice (but I prefer earth knuckles) dash: user choice (id say either circuit line or rift, but again probably better combos) Standard: Tearing Whirlwind, Cardice Prime (my preferred), Blazing Lariat, Volt Pinball Signature: Blazing Lariat, Volt Pinball these are obviously my preferred and I'm sure there are better combos than others

Hey man not sure if you can answer this but how would a Relic like Broken Plague Flask work in co-op I tried it today and I lost HP but surely then the enemies HP is lowered for both of us? Love to hear your thoughts and would like to know about any other Relics that would be better in Co Op.
I'm pretty sure that relics like the plague flask (relics with an effect on enemy stats etc.) work better in coop, because both players can profit from them. The conqueror stuff might also be really interesting, because you could potentially weaken 4 enemy classes, if both players start with one of the conqueror relics
I think the machine gun build has a higher base damage, but, if you get the right items, crit builds will eventually surpass the machine gun build (b'-')b
I don't think this'd work that well, because it's hard to get a high crit chance with non-melee arcana. Most crit builds only work, because they use Dark Katana (which triples crit chance for melee arcana)
So who do you think is the hardest of the level 3 bosses, personally I think the fire girl is the worst to have to fight, though I havent played the sky dungeon guy except once on level one so I'm not sure
For risky glass cannon builds, the air boss or freya are rather difficult , the flame empress is a pain in the ass at first but after 2-3 tries she becomes a lot easier to read. Hardest in general is probably freya with the potential one shot.
@@dimyell oh yeah I already know when I got to the 3rd boss for the first time it was freya, and she literally got the first hit of her combo in while I was at full health and I died from her first combo. I'm just saying in general, after beating the game a couple of times, I find the flame princess the most dangerous just because she seems to be the hardest to dodge and she does a good amount of damage. Depending on your load out of course
I'd guess one of the easiest ways to win is to start with Evading Zephyr + Demi's Teapot relic, because this combo allows you to completely avoid some of the boss attacks you would normally have problems dodging. You'd have to play with a lot more patience tho, since starting with Evading Zephyr means that you miss out on early damage, because you used one of your starting spell slots for a defensive arcana instead of an offensive one. There are probably some other ways to make the game easy for you, but I think this is the safest start (not necessarily the best).

I usually just restart runs until I get what I need ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ as far as I know, there's no way to increase the spawn rates of specific npcs
Vamp-Glasses abuse sadly doesn't work anymore because they capped it at 5HP regen/sec maxiumum (T^T)
