I'm so pleased you have talked about shared ownership. I am currently living in a shared equity property with a 40% share. Both my rent and mortgage have increased significantly in recent years. The 'service' charge is a con, no 'service' has ever been carried out in the 7 years I have been here. They (the organisation with the other share) literally take the money and that's it. I have to pay for all maintenance, including fitting a new boiler last year, which seems unfair given that my share is less than 50%. They are just landlords who take renters money without the responsibility of maintaining the property. One of few the benefits is that my house is in a 'nice' area close to good schools and I wouldn't have been able to live here otherwise. However, I would not recommend shared equity to other people. It really annoys me that shared equity is referred to as 'affordable' and new build estates have a small percentage of 'afforadable' stock, which in reality is not!
I bought a cheap phone case from ebay for 99p reduced from £2.99. Quality was good but checked the same case in local shop for £9.99, so careful what you buy at £10!
"Oh my gosh, like, Ferrero Rocher is, like, literally the height of sophistication, right? I mean, like, nothing says ‘classy’ like, you know, a gold-wrapped chocolate ball? Because, you know, it’s not like we’ve all been, like, unwrapping these since, like, middle school, pretending we’re, like, so fancy with our shiny chocolates? Honestly, it’s, like, the standard for high society." Uptalk is annoying.. dont do it..
When I was a little kid a Mars Bar (which was way bigger) was 5p, a Milky Way was 3p and a tube of Polo Mints where 2p……I remember because I had 10p pocket money. When I was late teens a Mars went up to about 15p and thought I was being robbed 🤔😂
I can remember when a Mars bar was 2p & a Marathon (aka Snickers) was 2 & a half pence. That was around 1970 & my spending money for the whole week when we went on holiday was 50p 😊😊
Unfortunately we can't see the thumbs down here, but I hope I am not the only one doing it on this comment, if Andy and Amelia are reading it thank you for, i like how it's just a natural conversation about these topics as if you are just two friends talking about it, I am happy with the format, thank you both, there is always going to be someone with a mean comment, but I hope the positive comments prevail

Just voted for your output. Regrettably there was no category for Amelia’s fabulous hair! 😊
Great knowledge. Thank you for your hard work. It help me a lot.
Disneyplus is now the netflix sheep. How long before music streaming limits the family plans? 😅
