Hold control and click both the video and audio you want grouped to highlight them both. Then press g to group. You can ungroup just as easily by pressing u for ungroup. This is assuming you have the default hotkeys

I’m guessing that you’ve already found an answer. Based on what you’re experiencing, your audio is likely 44.1KHz (sampling rate). Audio for video needs to be at least 48KHz or it will drift over time.

I downloaded a video i streamed on to my social media page so i can edit it in my Vegas 16. On my social media page the audio/video sync is awesome but the very moment i put it into Vegas for some reasone the AV desyncs and i don't know why or how to sync it all up the way it is on my social media page. What may be causing the file to desync the AV from each other. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks

how do you make it permanently group audio and video? its always separated now and its an extra annoying step to deal with every clip

What are you doing exactly at 2:15 to move the track back and forth? If I use my mouse, it is very hard to sync the sounds on the point.
But the video always comes out as landscapes and not in the form I want so I can’t use this software.
Dude, most people prefer an external microphone. It makes the audio quality 100x better than internal. Stupid phones won’t cut it.

U can use auto synchronisation in vp17
I am still using 16. but good to know that 17 can do this!
