    This was a great video and I had a very specific question if you don’t mind answering it? I have 3 Asus Wi-Fi six rogue routers throughout my home and I’m thinking about replacing one of the routers with the Wi-fi 7. It would be the router that’s plugged directly into my modem that delivers 2 GHz. My question is around how the Wi-Fi six routers or nodes in this case would work with the Wi-Fi seven router?

      @macmovieman1 Installing a Wifi7 for your main router would mean the wifi6 routers would not be compatible. WIFI7 uses the 6ghz band and wifi6 does not. You will have to stick with a Wifi6 router and make sure its compatible with your other asus routers. All routers will have a list of compatible models to use in mesh mode. Hope this helps and feel free to ask me any questions .

      @@UltimateTechHub this is exactly what I needed to know. Thank you. Either I need to commit to Wi-Fi seven throughout the house or just stick with Wi-Fi six. Maybe I can find a Wi-Fi six router by Asus that can handle 2 GHz WAN. My modem can handle it. I’m actually paying for it from Cox and my router. Is the weak link.

    I have a home office detached from the main house. 30 yards out back, would the mesh setup work that far?

    • @UltimateTechHub
      @UltimateTechHub  Месяц назад

      @DJLOUIE1000 30 yards is 90 feet and that's pretty far away. I would run an outdoor rated ethernet cable to that office. You can try to position one node closest to the office and one node in the office closest to the other node. At that range you will use the 2.4ghz band for the wireless backhaul. Good luck and keep me posted.

    What do you recommend to stream to tvs too. Will mesh work?

    • @UltimateTechHub
      @UltimateTechHub  2 месяца назад

      Mesh should work fine for streaming to TVs. Remember, if your TV is a few years old, that may cause some issues because of the older hardware inside the tv. Thanks for watching!

    Hello great video! I was wondering do you think it would be worth it upgrading to the WiFi 7 BE19000 tp link over the ace300 WiFi 6e? I have a computer with which I tend to play games that would be able to use the WiFi 7 but I’m still unsure if I will see a difference in 6ghz?
    Do you see a difference in coverage between WiFi 6e and 7 ?
    Thank you for the help,

    • @UltimateTechHub
      @UltimateTechHub  2 месяца назад +1

      You will see a difference with 6ghz band as long as your computer is close to the router ( 25 to 40 ft ). Otherwise, you will probably use the 5ghz band. I would go with the BE19000 because now your future-proofed. Hope this helps and thanks for watching! I think I have a product link in the description for the BE19000. Good luck!

    Does the Eero pro 6e cause high ping or latency?

    • @UltimateTechHub
      @UltimateTechHub  Месяц назад

      The Eero Pro 6e does not cause high ping or latency. The 6 GHz band offers lower latency, which is important for applications like VR/AR, video streaming and gaming.
